S2 / E81 Her Own Backyard: Stalking Katie

After moving back into her mother's house, Katie noticed a man sitting on a fence outside her bedroom window. Over the next few nights she noticed her dog's water bowl was tipped over, her dog limping, and 8:48 was written on a backyard play-set - which was the exact time she arrived home the night before. Katie and her mother replaced the fence, got rid of the play-set, and installed cameras and lights around the house. After a neighbor confronted someone trying to break into Katie and her mother's garage, Katie turned to the police who told her she was a liar, dramatic, and that "things like this don't happen here."
