162. A Fighting Chance: Stalking Maggie
Episode description
Maggie was stalked by an older man she met on a dating app. After they began dating, Maggie discovered his anger issues and controlling behavior. When they broke up, he sent texts, followed her, and sent unwanted gifts. Maggie went to the police when her stalker threatened her new fiancé, but when the police reached out to him, he showed up at her parent's house to confront them. He continued to stalk the new couple, even having Maggie's fiancé banned from the Brazilian Ju Jitsu academy he trained at. Maggie found out that her stalker also stalked his other exes and even had an order of protection against him from his ex-wife, so she decided to go public with her story to warn other women.
