After our review of The Ninth Gate, based on - or maybe inspired by - Arturo Pérez-Reverte's novel The Dumas Club, we decided to take a look at an earlier adaptation of another of his novels The Flanders Panel, which Jim McBride filmed as Uncovered with Kate Beckinsale in only her second big screen outing
