We help you with tips , tools and strategies to start living your best life when alcohol-free . If you want to learn more about stop drinking coaching , then head over to wwwsoberclearcom .

Almost every single drinker on the planet will benefit massively from quitting drinking . Not putting a poison in your body will improve your life tenfold . There is no doubt about that . However , there are people that should not stop drinking alcohol , and I'm not talking about , you know , bad withdrawal or anything like that .

It's something completely different , and in this video today , I'm going to explain exactly why you should never stop drinking alcohol Now . Obviously , these reasons are painful , but what we're going to do together is we're going to unpack them and we're going to try and get you past them .

So if you have been struggling whilst trying to stop drinking alcohol , you must watch this video . It will completely change your life Now .

Just before we break these reasons down , if you stick around to the end of the video , I do have spots available on my SoberClear coaching program where we use something called first principles thinking and we use a future-focused coaching approach to really help people build a life that they don't want to escape from . We have over a 92% success rate .

We've served over 400 clients and the protest happens quickly . It can work in as little as 48 hours . I'll talk to you about that at the end of the video , but now let's get into it . So the first reason why you should never stop drinking alcohol so if you stop drinking using willpower right , you just wake up one morning with a nasty hangover .

You might see some I don't know some advertisement for a dry January , for some stop October thing , and you just say to yourself right , that's it , I'm done , I'm not drinking anymore then the chance of you continuing on that path is relatively low . Using willpower is very difficult .

However , the approach that I recommend , the approach that worked for me , the approach that I've taken my clients through , and the approach that hundreds of thousands of people have been doing by watching this YouTube channel is it's all about reframing the way that you view alcohol , which sounds simple , but it takes a lot of time . It takes a lot of effort .

You've got to really , you know , dive deep and spend a lot of time reading and watching videos , but once you're able to shift your perspective to see alcohol the same way that you'd see you know crack cocaine . The same way that you'd see you know . Let's just say that you went to a bar and everybody around you was drinking bleach instead of alcohol .

You'd walk out of that bar a bit confused , but you'd never want to drink it . Right ? The goal of reframing alcohol way that you view alcohol is your ego .

So what you basically need to do when you reframe the way that you view alcohol is you need to come to terms with the fact that what you know , the current knowledge that you have , the current worldview that you have , is incorrect and there could be a different way for you to view things .

Where you need to put your hands up and say maybe what I've known is wrong , do you know what ? That is one of the hardest things that people can do . I've met people in my life where you could give them information until you're blue in the face .

That's factual , that's scientific , that's real , and their ego will not allow them to listen to you because they think that they're right . And it's one of the hardest things that we can do is put our hands up and say maybe what I knew wasn't right , which means that if you've been drinking for 40 , 50 years or whatever , however long it's been .

You've basically got to say that for the past 30 or 40 years of my life I've been wrong . That is one of the most painful things that an individual can do , but it's one of the most profound things that they can do and it's one of the most liberating and freeing things .

Because now what happens is , once they've kind of admitted to themselves that , okay , my worldview might not be right , they become receptive to new information in a similar way that , listen , I'm not vegan . But I've got friends that are vegan and it's strange .

It's like they watch a few documentaries , they start thinking about it and then all of a sudden they say I'm not eating meat anymore and they have no desire to eat meat . They just put it behind of them and they move on and as non-vegans , everybody kind of scowls at them and looks at them . But think about that transformation ?

They've basically said the thing that I've been doing for my entire life is wrong and I'm making a change which actually takes a tremendous amount of strength . And I'm not vegan , right , I don't have any desire to be vegan . So don't think I'm going to try and turn everybody on this channel into sober and vegan . No , that's not my intention .

However , there's something that we can learn from vegans when it comes to shifting their mindset , because what they do is they put their ego aside . They say , huh , maybe I was wrong . I'm going to change my understanding of things .

So , going back to the title of the video , why you should never stop drinking alcohol , if you are not able to put your ego aside and admit to yourself that what you know up until this point in your life is wrong , I'm telling you , stopping drinking will be the most painful thing that you've ever done in your life . That is probably not even worth doing .

You are going to sit and watch videos like mine . You're going to read some stop drinking books . You might join a coaching program . You might do something like this . You're going to be resentful , you're going to be bitter , you're going to be like this is all a bunch of crap .

And if you're not willing to listen to new information to change your perception , then I'm telling you it is not even worth bothering to do . Unless you try a different program , stopping drinking is going to be a damn nightmare . I'm not trying to discourage you .

I'm trying to be realistic with you because if you are able to put your ego to the side , oh boy , listen , you've been getting a lot of things wrong , but there is a way for you to live that will remove the desire to drink alcohol .

¢ Facing Life's Realities Without Alcohol

So the second reason why you should never stop drinking alcohol is even more painful . Right , this one's even worse . If you thought the ego thing was hard to do , wait till you listen to this . So one of the hardest things that happens when somebody actually stops drinking . Right , let's just say that they've put their ego aside .

Right , they've done all the work . They've read the stuff , they've read books , they've watched videos , they've joined some programs and they're in a state of mind where they don't want to drink . The next thing that happens can be even more painful .

They go a week , they go two weeks without drinking , don't want to drink , but then they get honest with themselves because now they've got clarity . Now , instead of having a problem in their life and then just escaping with a drink at nighttime , now all the problems come to the surface .

They see , you know a relationship that's not been nurtured for a long time , a partnership with a wife , with a husband . They see , their kids have grown up and they've not really been present for their kids for the past five years . They look in the mirror . They see somebody overweight . They look at their bank and they're thinking man , there should be more .

I should be further ahead now . And these realizations when somebody stops drinking alcohol are painful , and when they don't drink they can see it so much clearer . I've seen this happen for quite a few of my clients . Right , it's like they stop drinking and they're shocked .

They're like , hmm , and again , if you're not willing to look at your life and fully accept that you've done this , you've created your life the way that it is , and take full responsibility for being in the position that you're in , you are gonna be in so much pain .

But I promise you one thing if you stop drinking and you look at your life and you're not happy with the situation . I was there as well when I stopped drinking alcohol . I remember looking around my room there was trash . I wasn't even living in a friend's place whilst he was away on holiday . I had no money . I had hardly any friends .

At this point I've like well , I had friends , but I had no friends around me . I didn't have a social circle . I was flipping , working in a restaurant I'd borrowed money off my family . It was a disaster and it hurt . I wanted to cry and when I think back to it I still want to cry .

It was the worst feeling ever at my life and thinking do you know what ? I'm going back to the bottle . I'm just going to F this off . Who cares ? I'm going to escape ? No , I took full responsibility . It's not my mom's fault . It's not my teacher's fault . It's not that person's fault that was mean to me at work . No , it's none of their fault .

This is all my fault and it's my responsibility to fix . Listen , I've said it in previous videos that the drinking isn't your fault , right ? I don't believe that people that over drink has got anything to do with them as individuals . What's happened is that we've been conditioned to see alcohol a certain way .

Alcohol is a highly addictive drug and that's what causes people to drink . So drinking itself isn't your fault , but the results that you have in your life are 100% your fault and they're your responsibility

¢ Inner Transformation Empowers Life Change

to fix . And when you stop drinking alcohol , if you are not ready to face that pain because it's painful , don't bother , because that realisation is coming . You will wake up , you will see it and you'll be like ah damn .

But at the same time , if you're willing to accept that your life is the way that it is because of you and you only , that gives you the power to change . That gives you the ammunition right , the empowerment to say , okay , well , I got it this way , so I can fix it . I can make it better , and you can .

If you look in the mirror and you're not happy with what's reflected back at you , who cares ? You can fix it . If you've not been there for the kids the way that you really want to be , then you can fix it . If your relationship's just been coasting along , you haven't been spending that one-on-one quality time together , you can fix it .

But those two inner transformations if you can get your ego it , your life will never look the same again .
