Episode description

Laura Mucha is an award-winning poet and Author-in-Residence in the Department of Public Health & Primary Care at the University of Cambridge.

She has authored numerous books for adults and children, and earlier this year released her latest book ‘Please Find Attached: How Attachment Theory Explains Our Relationships’.

In part 1, Laura joins Dr Alex George to discuss what attachment theory actually is, the different attachment styles and how they first appear in childhood.

Plus, Laura explains the different memory systems involved in attachment theory and reveals how being hit by a car changed her perspective on life and pushed her to finish writing her first book about relationships…
