Kick things off with one of the biggest stories of the day. We've been talking about this all morning. Of course, we've got our eyes on Warner Brothers Discovery. We are hearing that Paramount's Guidance amended its bid for Warner Brothers Discovery, and they're actually having Larry Ellison, the chairman of Oracle, personally backing this bid. Here a guarantee of forty billion
dollars forty point four billion dollars in equity financing. Four Paramounts propose one one eight point four billion dollar offer for Warner Brothers Discovery. Literally has been an evolving story. I like it's been a bit of a back and forth tug and pull here. If we think about Netflix and Paramount's guidance and looking at shares, a pair ofmo S guidance up more than seven percent as the best performing stock in the S and P five hundred on
a percentage basis. Netflix shares though sliding down about nine tenths of a percent right now as we speak. And Warner Brothers Discovery, which we know is really the center of this entire discussion. Those shares are up about two point seven percent right now. All right, Number two, Number two. I've got my eyes on the tech space as well. Looking at shares of Marvel Technology ESUS is taker mr VL.
We're seeing shares up about one point three percent. This is after City open to positive catalyst watch on the company. This is a chip maker. This is ahead of their conference as a tech conference they're going to be having next month in Las Vegas. They're saying that they expect Marvel and Peers to highlight growing adoption of scale up networking, including copackaged optics at the CEES conference, which likesly will
help this company, Marvel to win Trainium four. So we are seeing a bit of a positive upswing here for the company. Shares though down on a year to day basis by about twenty three percent. Rocket left Rocket Labs. This is in the aerospace sector. We're looking at shares of rocket Lab this taker RKLB. They're up more than eight percent. The company won a contract to design and
build eighteen satellites. This is the company's largest single contract to date, so we are seeing shares up about eight percent, but on a unity basis, the stocks really been on a tear, almost up about two hundred percent so far this year.
