Stock Movers Report, your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market, harnessing the power of Bloomberg Data.

Speaker 3

Let's take a look at some stocks on the move today. I'm Alexandra Semenova with Scarlett fou and we are joined by Bloomberg's Carmen Ryannikey, Deputy team leader for US Equities. Carmen, what is on your radar today?

Speaker 4

Yeah, so the big one, the first one I'm going to cover is Dell ticker d EL. Shares are up thirty three percent right now intra day. This is on track to close it a record high. It's at an intra day high. So, the hardware hardware maker excuse Me, had earnings and it gave an outlook for annual sales that beat analyst estimates. And we're specifically fueled by demand

for its servers that power AI work. So they said that their revenue for the fiscal year twenty twenty seven will be about one hundreds sixty seven billion, which includes sixty billion from the sale of AI servers, which is much higher than analyst estimates of about one hundred and forty two billions. So this was a really solid earning support. Analysts have been cheering it and saying, you know this, this company has been an AI winner and it continues to be.

Speaker 1

I love the comment from a analyst which basically said that Dell is an example of the dinosaur tech firm rediscovering a new lease on life as an AI powerhouse, earning the ranks of Intel or Cisco or Nokio or Lenovo. So Dell, it's like a throwback to the nineties. It is all right, what's your next stock?

Speaker 3

Yep?

Speaker 4

So this is Reprimune ticker rip ols. This is a tiny little biotech stock, but I think it's worth a mention. So the shares are up seventy six percent right now. This is the best intro day jump since twenty twenty five. So the company said that US regulators would reconsider a skin cancer treatment, and this is important because it's been rejected from regulators to prior times. So a path forward with the FDA is really positive for this company.

Speaker 3

And what else are you watching?

Speaker 1

Krtman?

Speaker 4

Yes, so one on the flip side, let's look at shares of ASTs space Mobile so or sorry, AST space Mobile ticker is ASTs. The stock is down twenty percent right now about twenty percent. This is the worst intra day performance since twenty twenty four. This is off of Blue Origins a New Glen rocket explosion. So ASTs previously used Blue Origins New Gun to launch one of their satellites, and there was actually an issue with that launch as well, so the rocket failed to put the satellite in orbit.

Analysts are saying that the problem now with New gleun will delay full deployment of AST satellite network and sort of push back some of the timelines for a commercial launch for AST. So I'm going to see further delays there as they figure out what happened to that.
