The Stock Movers Report, your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market, harnessing the power of Bloomberg Data.

Speaker 3

Time to take a look at some of the stocks on the move today. We're joined by Bloomberg's Isabelle Lee. It's a normal trading day today in the New York Stock Exchange, right.

Speaker 1

Absolutely, yes, normal, But the London Stock Market is closed, so it's very quiet out there for boxing for the whole world. Yes, boxing day.

Speaker 3

Okay, that's quiet.

Speaker 1

For the whole world.

Speaker 3

Let's start with one of our favorite stocks here because it's always the most active, in Vidia in the pre market.

Speaker 1

In Vidia, Yes, this is a favorite. It's the world's largest company. It's higher but maybe five one percent in pre market trading. So they agreed to a licensing deal with AI startup GROX. So this furthers and vidious investments and companies connected to the AI boom. So the chip maker, as we know, has paid for the right to use GROS technology and will integrate its hip design into future products. So some of the startups executives are leaving to join

in video to help with that effort. GROK will continue us an independent company, but they will name a new CEO. So in Vida's technology, as we know, already dominates data centers and the popularity of their offerings really has just made in Video the richest company in the chip industry. So In Video said it will use some of that cash to religious advance their uptake of AI across the economy. So why Grock Because Grock has slow latency chips and

are extremely responsive to inputs. I'm going to pretend that I really understand it.

Speaker 3

Yes, okay, you'll explain that to me some other time. I've never heard of this company. Is it Citus or Citus Space?

Speaker 1

I thought it was Citus and then I listened to a video and it said Cidus when the video was introducing the CEO. So take cars, sid you it's up eight ten to one percent. This is a space and defense technology company developments there there recently announced plans to offer to sell shares if they're common class A common stock in a proposed public offering at one dollars and thirty cents a share, So they will use that for

sales and marketing, operational cost, product development, et cetera. Think equities acting as a sole placement agent for the offering, and last week the company was named a contract awarding on the Missile Defense Agency's Shield IDQ program. I also had to look that up and I got into a rabbit hole into the Defense Department's website. Basically, that's a

one hundred and fifty one billion dollars sealing contract. Focus on just really delivering innovative defensive capabilities to efforts that are militaristic. You could just think of it like that. So the stock has rallied though, around two hundred percent in the past month.

Speaker 3

All right, let's end up with bio Biohaven shares ticker symbol bh V, and what do they do.

Speaker 1

Bioheavens shares job fourteen percent. They're in the healthcare industry. So shares are slumping because a mid stage study of the company's experimental drug for the treatment of major depressive disorder missed the primary endpoint. So City said that data was disappointing. They had a by rating, but investors had

quote very low expectations of the study working. Raymond James, who also had a by rating, said that investors they focused on the focal epilepsy opportunity and RBC said that the trial miss could be a clearing event, so to speak. So the company does not plan on additional psychiat clinical trials and will, in said, focus on obesity, immunology and epilepsy in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 3

So does everybody want to venture a guess as to what trading volume is going to be like today? We should like to put that out there.

Speaker 1

There will be ten people on Wall Street.
