But there's still a bit of speculation about what that outlook could mean, especially as we got that after Walmart. Just a concern for the consumer more broadly.
Yeah, absolutely, it's a one measure of looking at the state of the consumer and the state of housing and the say of the economy. Let's move to something in tech land. What do you have?
I'm looking at AMD, can't stop keeping an eye on these tech names advanced micro devices. We do see up about seven percent. This is after Meta said that it would buy the company's ships and computers designed to run AI models. The deal overall will be worth double digit billions of dollars per gigawatt. That's according to AMD specifically, So as you can imagine, you do see Wall Street really celebratory about this news as they think about this
really having AMD taking a step forward. Shares with the company though so far this year down about two percent. Uh into it, Yes, into it, So this is stake your I Intu. We're also seeing shares higher, up about one point eight percent. This is after the announcement of a multi year partnership with Anthropic to bring custom AI agents to mid market businesses and deliver personalized experiences for consumers and businesses. So, as you can imagine, this really
is a tailwind for the company. People saying that this is really great news for Intuit, whose stock has really been battered. I mean, we're in what toward the end of February, and this stock has lost forty five percent so far this year.
