Girl Stop Playing the Victim

Did you know you and I are much more concerned about what people think about the external factors of life--our appearance, our wealth, and success? And we are much more susceptible to outside criticism while at the same time less able to receive it. In general, if we were to represent cultural norms, we play the victim rather than take responsibility and grow in character. But did you also realize God made us for more? And the only way you and I will begin living out His purposes for us is when we reject cultural norms to embrace His best for our lives. Here are three strategies for getting off this merry-go-round to stop playing the victim.
