Raj and Sharan welcomed their baby boy, Riaan, into the world in April 2020. Riaan sadly and unexpectedly passed away just 7 months later.
Raj has recently been recognised with multiple awards for his volunteering with Sands.
Raj is also manager of Sands United FC Nottingham, a team he set up in January 2023 in memory of his son Riaan.
