But on top of that, how that's gotta be the most valuable ticket as a Raiders fan that owns a season ticket is right now Cowboys ticket every. I know that, but like I'm a Cowboys fan, but it's like, isn't it like a, it's like a interval of 10 years. At least we get decently good.

Yeah, we, we've had, we've, we've had decent years, Like the year that Dez caught it, that was, we would have, I believe had a good shot of going to the Super Bowl and competing. I just stopped watching it because we're bad honestly. But my daughter, I put I took my daughter to last year, the Jaguars and Raiders because nobody bought the ticket.

Game 7/2 was Warriors and Clippers was rowdy. What year was that? I gotta be like 10 years. That's when Chris Paul is with the Clippers, right? I think so, yeah. Was game seven, though 15. Probably like 20/15/2016. But I remember Paul got hurt, right? I remember. Mistaken. Fuck I forgot I believe Chris Paul. That's the series. Rockets? I'm a big Rockets fan because there was a year that we almost beat the the Warriors, but then Chris Paul got injured and then we lost the series. See, I thought that happened twice if. The Warriors. Yeah, especially when they were at Oracle. He's on the Warriors side. And then he just turns to the whole crowd and he goes, no, fuck all you guys. And then he just keeps walking and I know everybody. And I was like, this is the craziest shit ever.

To just say that to everybody in the crowd and you're like the only guy with a Clipper jersey on that side. Yeah, it's kind of like the the the Raider games in Oakland. It was kind of like if you were opposing team, like they're definitely going to get like stopped or someone's going to mess with. Not too bad. I don't think it's as bad as you went to a football game. No, not for sure. Especially the Raiders games when they were. Back I went to a A's game out there. I'm a big Rocket fan, so I was happy to see Jalen Green over there, you know, and then we got our asses spanked, bro. So probably that's the only like basketball game I actually went to. Was that? I believe Dwight Howard was still on the team like this was this was still the the Lakers, like the Showtime Lakers. When they had a big centers. And when LeBron, when LeBron would go up to dunk, like he just looked different than everybody on the court, it's

crazy to watch in person. You think his time is coming cuz he doesn't like look as as explosive? Yeah, when I. Or is he saving it you think? I think he can play for another five years. Yeah, I feel like he can, but I think it just comes down to what he wants to do. You know right cuz he still could do I mean he's not the same story monkey was, but he's still better than like yeah almost half of like the league more than. More than half he. Can go 28 and eight for the next five years.

I don't think we've ever seen a player do this. No like to this point of their career, like still be like the main scorer on the team. And I'm a big LeBron fan too, so I I don't know how long he could go, but I could definitely see him at least make a couple of runs. But I don't know if it I feel like he should go. He was. It's it's pretty cool to kind of like go and cover it outside of all the Raiders stuff because Raiders stuff is fun, but could be stressful at times, especially when the team's losing almost all the time, you know? But but we still try to have fun with it too.

And then with a lot of things going on with the Super Bowl, with WrestleMania out here with like Hola Hola and stuff like that, those all events that we go and just cover, have a good time and just do as much media as we can, or at least as much content as we can. Don't you think Super Bowl should come here like every two years? Every year I think that they're they're gonna make it the new New Orleans. That's what I heard 'cause if. You do it every other year. It'd be cool.

Yeah, I don't think if they they can do it every other year, 2 years, once every four years, 'cause they gotta go through a whole cycle cause fuck this. New Orleans is always like. Fuck everywhere else. Dome right? Superdome is always on the radio. For years and years and. Years. Yeah, like fuck every bro People come here 'cause they get to. We can hold the capacity of people. We have the hotels, we have the casinos, we have the bars.

People want to come here to. It's like a vacation and they get to do Vegas. It's. The perfect destination. And they have the parties and they have the clubs. But every, yeah, every event that I've covered, like Vegas has done well, like a lot of people will have oh highly of Vegas, like Super Bowl, like the one Super Bowl that they did here. So far, everybody was like speaking good things about it.

Cuz like you said, like the hotels, everything's within distance to, you know, 1 little Uber ride here and there. So WrestleMania, they even loved it out here. So I think we definitely see a lot more, especially with the baseball team coming and the basketball team coming. So I mean, you could do everything out here. I think it's the perfect. Distance. Does that overload the strip though?

You think the implementation of an MLB stadium that holds 30,000 fans, an NBA stadium that holds 28,020 thousand, whatever it does? I I don't know, man, I I thought it would have been crazy, like even bringing the stadium over here. I don't know that's on the other side, but I think Vegas can handle it. They're only. Going to they're redoing all the freeways and stuff that off ramps and. Shit, I just don't know how our strip would handle. That, yeah, but it's not going to if.

Maybe if they all had it the same. But that happened imagine like right now, right? And WNBA is in season so that'll have an arena but the. The NBA. Unless could be in the player Caitlin. Clark is playing, then it's not going to be. There's nobody. There so Caitlin Clark OK, who are teams who's the Vegas team doesn't aces? OK, it doesn't matter. WNBA team playing, NBA team playing NHL team could be

playing at the exact same time. NBA is like going to be over here closer to. This but it still would be the strict congestion though. It within like 2-3 miles you would have 6070 thousand. One of the biggest things is the the Las Vegas loop, right?

That Elon Musk has designed the underground Tesla system that is supposed to be like crazy efficient. Have you guys ever ridden on it yet? No. Have you? I haven't done it but. It's pretty trippy. We, well, we just was catching it from one end of the Convention Center to the other and you just go down like A and then almost like a, it's like a

OK, so I had like a friend that was a chef, but fucking they seem like they're gentrifying it and expanding because they were they I guess they more industrial area so now they're able to expand or something like that. How did you feel about the Raiders draft this year? You know, I was happy about it.

I mean, Ashton Jetsey, everybody thinks that I hate him, but I felt like the only reason why I was OK with not getting Ashton Jetsey because there were so many great running backs in this year's class that we could have addressed in the second, third round. Because I really like T Mac coming out in the draft. I wanted to the number one, the number one wide is here. Plus he's Polly too. So I was like, oh, then I've been perfect.

But. Shit, he would have got a headless fan support if you came. Back here, 9th Island. That would have been crazy, but I like it so far. I mean, I think Pete Carroll and them did something that the Raiders haven't done in a while is like actually get players that nobody are surprised by, especially in the first round. So I think that they're slowly building something over here, which. You don't think it was a surprise taking then they take two FCS quarterbacks back-to-back.

He. Did and and the sixth round I was surprised by it for sure cuz I I won a shudor too. Like that was another person I I wouldn't mind getting. And that wasn't he available at the time as well? Well, he was available up until the fifth round, which is kind of crazy, but I was surprised that at, at first. But I, I guess cuz one of the quarterbacks, they're turning into a wide receiver and the other guy guess supposedly Tom Brady like the other guy. So we'll see if he turns into

anything. What do you think? Does he look like a future franchise quarterback? The kid out of North Dakota State. He he look good though, but then again that's callers. I can't really say anything into the NFL unless he actually puts on the peasant balls out during the pre season. But other than that, like I, I try to keep my expectations low because every year I always have it this high right before the season and then when the season starts, I'm just like, damn man.

Didn't we have a good start to the season last year or was it the year before? The year before, last year, I mean, we were one and one. After two weeks, we beat the the Ravens and that we thought, you know, we were going to be real. Yeah. That that that didn't turn out right. We've only won five more games since then. So, Jesus, out of the entire 2025 NFL Draft, who was your favorite draft pick?

Oh damn, our third round pick. Darren Porter, our second or third round pick, Jack Bash out of TCU or Darren Porter in the third round, because Porter was the only player I actually like like predicted that we would get and we actually got him. And he he's kind of like the the Pete Carroll type of cornerback. Everybody says he's like the Richard Sherman.

I'm not going to say he's like Rich like he is Richard Sherman, but he's a wide receiver turned cornerback in I think we could you and and knowing Pete Carroll's history, he's he always does good with drafting cornerback. So that's one guy that I'm really looking forward to watching this year. How much faith do you have in Pete Carroll in his first season? Man, what is what? What are you forecasting as the

Raiders 2025 record? I think 88 or nine wins maybe that that's where that's where I have it at. Like I say, I'm so shaky. I I don't know, man, 88 or nine wins. I think that's a solid, solid ground for me right now. Like if we get that, then I'll be like, OK. We're headed into the right direction. Yeah, one, one thing I like OK. I wouldn't trip over the losses. As long as they look

competitive, then I'll be good. But if we go out there and look as bad as we did last year, then I I don't know. It's gonna be another tough year though, But I feel like Pete Carroll might do good. But I said the same thing about Antonio. What happened? Bro but this is different because. Y'all wasn't like the preseason, like hype videos and everything. Yeah, I was like, damn. guess it didn't work out. Maybe Antonio Pierce wasn't a head coach like type material man, but we all thought he he gave us a little bit of hope, you know, the year prior that he could be the guy and that didn't pan out. And I was like, yeah, nevermind, let's go get somebody that actually knows how to be a head

coach. So I got I guess this year. Do you think he got a fair shot? Does does it feel like? I think he could have used another year like I, I was one of those fans that like, you know, I don't mind another year. Maybe it'll pan out, maybe not, but at least give him a chance. And how do you You don't even get to build your own personnel

like your coaching staff. See, he wasn't perfect because I I think he made some decisions that, you know, kind of bit him in the ass because he went out there and didn't really go get another quarterback. I mean, we got Gardner Minshew, but I like the the move, but I didn't think that he was going to be the starter, that he made him the starter week one.

I'm like damn, you know, over Aidan O'Connell who everybody thought was going to start, that didn't pan out, all the people that he brought in didn't pan out and it just kind of fell down from there. But this year, like I said, I have a little bit of optimism with Pete Carroll cuz he's done it before, but I just have have to wait and see what they do this year. So how do you feel about entering the season with Geno Smith as your starting quarterback? I guess better than the last

couple years for sure. I mean, he's one of the more like safest options at quarterback for us that we've had in the wall. But I don't think he should be that bad, you know, especially because he's playing with Pete Carroll again and we got some weapons there. So we got Brock, Bowers, gosh, and Jessie now. So I hope that helps out, you know. Give me the stats. What kind of season are we looking forward to from Geno Smith in his first season with

the Las Vegas Raiders? And give me, give me, give me 25 touchdowns, maybe around. 25 touchdowns, You realize it's a 17 game regular season. Not right. We just got to hand the ball off to Ash and Jesse for most of those touchdowns, but I shoot I guess 3500 yards, 25 touchdowns, 7 picks, but more wins. I'll be OK with it. You know, I don't really like looking at the stats like that unless we're winning. But you know, that's just me

though. And are we figuring they get into the wild card or there's a playing game? I think that that that's best case scenario for me wild card. And then I, I think this year at the UC net, they're trying to implement the, the new playoff for bracket. So hopefully, you know, we we could sneak our way in there and, and, and the playoffs this year. I think we can, but then again, like I said, I said every year so.
