Episode description

"When people talk, listen completely. Most people never listen." -- Ernest Hemingway

We live in a society where world leaders underestimate how rapid, serious and permanent ecological breakdown will be if humanity fails to mobilize climate action in the short and long term. The Earth system has reached its tipping points at a breath-taking speed. And climate scientists and researchers face insurmountable public communication challenges than the astronomers in Don’t Look Up.

Decades of awareness-raising and initiatives to engage the public has displayed that climate change doesn’t communicate itself. Growing scientific evidence suggests that there are challenges to how we communicate climate change to various audiences and stakeholders.

This podcast gives you a glimpse into the world of two amazing climate communication experts who have over a decade of experience in the science and the art of climate change communications. They share their ideas about communication, what needs to be done in order to set things in motion for climate actions.
