The state of Texas has a vision for becoming a leader in the country’s space exploration efforts. Texas Space Exploration’s Norman Garza is on a mission to see that vision become a reality. For this first in a two-part conversation on Texas as a space leader, Frank sits down with Norman to discuss how exactly the Space Commission aims to enhance the state’s role in space exploration, the impact this program will have (and already has had) on the state, and why state programs like Texas’ are leading the way for the next generation of space travel.
