I'm gonna give you some encouragement in some hole from God's word. Because I really want you to know that you matter, that you are important and you have a purpose. So I invited to subscribe to this podcast and join me here Money to Friday to help your day by starting right with Danny Mac a Z I was reading through my bible the other morning. I came across this verse in Psalm 119 in verse five. It says old that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees. As I thought about that word consistently, I realized that it's only as we are consistent in our walk with God, that we're actually going to be able to grow and become stronger so much of the time. Our problems come when we are inconsistent, where we let our emotions take over rather than our faith. We let our situations dominate our mind. We better conditions, push us and shape us in a direction that we don't necessarily want to go or be like we let people push our buttons so we react in ways that we normally wouldn't and that we really don't want to react in. We lack consistency. When we lack consistency, we know it. We see where we've messed up. We see where we fail along the way each day. And then we beat ourselves up because we didn't do it right. Well, first of all, we need to start back at that prayer. Oh, that. My actions would consistently reflect your decrees. God has placed us in a world where we are surrounded by consistent things. The late comes in the morning. The darkness comes at night. We breathe in, we breathe out the air that's around us, our heart pumps. As long as we're alive on this earth and blood flows through our veins. We have a God who consistently loves us. He loves us more than anything else, and that love is always being shown toward us. But we don't always consistently show him love. We let all those other things get in the way. One of our greatest challenges then, is for us to be consistent. It's to make the decisions every day that we need to that will keep us on track and to make sure that we are controlling as much as possible our reaction to people and things around us. People in situations will always be trying to push our buttons and didn't make us react in ways that we don't want to. Galatians, Chapter six and Verse nine tells us. Do not grow weary in doing good. That means that we consistently do what's good and what's right if we can keep that in the forefront of our minds, if we can decide day in and day out that we are going to do today what is good and right, that's a really good start to living a life that's consistent before God. When Jesus was asked what is the greatest commandment, he said, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself, that kind of consistency. If we can build that and work towards that every day, we will be able to show God's love to people around us, and we will be able to keep ourselves emotionally strong, mentally strong and more important, spiritually strong. Let that strength be in you today and let that grace of God be working in your life and love your Lord, your God with all your heart, your soul, your mind and love your neighbor as yourself. Have a good day game talkto Thank you for joining us today. And be sure to check out a brand new podcast Life and Hope with Danny Mac and keep tuning in Monday to Friday for starting right.
