Oh great ancient ones, great ancestors, we call to you. May you hear the voices of your descendants traversing through time and space. We humbly ask for your support, your wise medicine ways, and your genius solutions in these times. Dear ancestors, we wish to partner with you, for we know we cannot do this alone. As we traverse the mystery, we ask that you, our starry ancestors, are with us each breath of the way. May we have clarity of mind and crystalline vision to see through the dark. May we walk our paths of high holy truth, as that is what is needed now more than ever.
And so it is. Welcome to stars, stones and stories. We have arrived at the solstice point, the moment of reprieve and rebirth for those of us in the north. As we gather all of our frequency to come deep within, to the center of stillness, to the center of silence, to rejuvenate and renew for the most magnificent rebirth. It is time to rejuvenate the traditions of our ancient indigenous earth loving ancestors. Each one of us is able to trace our lineage to these ancient ones and in these ancient future times that we live where we are birthing this new earth. Here, as we culminate the year of 2023, we prepare the ground for the new earth in this next gregorian year that is to come this year of 2024. And so, at the moment of the solstice, you are invited to come home to the earth's heartbeat. You are invited to come home to your heartbeat. For us in the north, we are welcoming the moment of winter solstice. We have welcomed the longest night of the year, and this high holy day marks the great renewal, like a new moon herself. For our brothers and sisters in the south, they have welcomed the zenith of the sun, the peak, the longest day of the year. And from here on out, your days will grow darker and darker, as ours in the north will grow lighter and lighter. For all of us who are part of this human family on Earth at this time, we sense a palpable collective shift that is occurring. We are closing a 20 year cycle out and on in bulk. The new moon in February of 2024. We open a new cycle between now and then. Your most important work is to dedicate yourself to your own unique process of healing, recalibration, and most importantly, integration. Integration is quite often looked over in the culture of modernity, and it is such an essential step in a process of healing as integration allows for the yen exhale, for the pause, for the stillness, so that all that has been experienced may be fully digested, and that which no longer serves may be eliminated, while that which is meant to be carried forth may be applied throughout the body systems and utilized within the life force. On a personal level, I've been in a deep space of integration, as those of you who follow stars, stones and stories on the regular have known. I've been quite quiet since October, since the gate of Samhain going into the underworld, and I've allowed myself great pause, a pause that I have not felt the leisure to be able to take in over nine years. And to be honest, in some ways, I am still living within that sacred pause. However, I wanted to come forth and share a few signature frequencies of what is coming through at this gate of solstice, because I know it will be of benefit for those of you who are tuning in. And I am so grateful to circle back with you in this way. And I know that in 2024, I will come back around again and again. However, I am still in the preliminary phase of mapping out how that will look, how it will take form. And at this time, it feels important to be in the mystery and to surrender to the mystery and to be willing to not force a plan of action. You see, we are going into a significant year, next year, 2024. We have been on a marathon of a journey collectively since 2012, and I think many of us have felt the increase in the pressures of human daily life. I think it really became aware and palpable for so many of us by 2015, in October, when we had that super blood moon, full moon. Since 2019, we have been going through so many powerful gates as a collective human family, and there are more gates to walk through. There are more tests. There are more moments of expansion and contraction between now and 2032. There is moment after moment of great transformation which will take us into this ancient future reality that each one of us is so blessed to be a part of. Sculpting your life is your offering to the future of humanity. It is such a gift to live on this planet in these times. And I speak to this at this moment because we have been through so many initiations on a collective level. And I am certain you, on a personal level, have been through many, many challenges, especially in the past year. And when you look back to your life in December of 2019, to where you are today in December of 2023, I'm sure we can both agree that many things are unrecognizable to you. And where you stand today and where you will stand on December of 2027, you will feel the same way. You will be in awe of how much has shifted and expanded and how much closure you have been willing to let go of. So for now, as we close out the year of 2023, we have mercury retrograde and Capricorn. This weekend, Mercury crosses back into the sign of Sagittarius and traverses over the galactic center and the gate of God, the golden gate of God, from Christmas Eve through Christmas Day. And for those of you who have been avid listeners of stars, stones and stories, you know that I have spoken about this sensitive point over the years. It's a point that feels very significant for my own life. As my son sits on the silver gate of man, which opposes the golden gate of God. And it was two years ago, around winter solstice, when I stood in front of the sphinx on the Gemini full moon, that the sun in Sagittarius was on the golden gate of God, and the moon was on the silver gate of man. And I stood there with a group of beautiful women that I had the honor of bringing on a pilgrimage to Egypt. And this winter solstice, I have been really enjoying the pleasures of cocooning at home and feeling the stillness in such a profound way as I've spent a number of winter solstices traversing these sacred sites in Egypt. And it's so powerful to be able to reflect back into those spaces and also anchor the energy in my home to give offerings at my Shiva lingam, which sits outside, connected to all of the cosmos that has received so many offerings in ritual from so many different women, heard so many prayers, and offered them into our Milky Way galaxy. And so, knowing that the messenger God crosses back retrograde into the sign of Sagittarius and spins through the galactic center. This is our womb of the Milky Way galaxy. This is a profound weekend for us as the gates of solstice are opened and the sensitivity of this time will continue to be amplified through Christmas. So regardless of your belief system and whatever religions you may uphold, this is a very sweet, nourishing time for so many people around the world. And we're building into a cancer full moon on the 26th, with Chiron shifting direct on the day of the cancer full moon. Then, as we close out the year of 2023, Jupiter stations direct on December 30, and Mercury will station direct on the 1 January. So we are in a portal right now where the moon is waxing on the solstice. It is a powerful time to seed your dreams, regardless of whether you're in the southern or northern hemisphere, we're all in the solstice portal. And even though, for those in the southern hemisphere, it is the time of welcoming Lithia, the summer solstice. For all of us in the collective, this is a moment of rebirth as we prepare for a new gregorian year and ultimately for this year of the dragon that will open up in the season of Imbolc in 2024. And this chinese year of the Wood dragon is very special, opening up a brand new 20 year cycle. And as I was sharing before, your work right now is to immerse yourself in your healing, to rest, to nourish yourself, to drink lots of water, to eat nourishing foods, to walk outdoors, to, to be barefoot when you're able to, to place your bare hands and feet on Mother Earth, to give offerings to the elementals. These simple acts will help to reset your system as we close out this year of the rabbit, this nature year, as we bring closure to all that we've experienced and offer our blessings and our gratitude. This year has been very challenging for so many of us, especially at the end of the year. The eclipse season of October has been quite fierce for so many of us. I know many people would like to bitterly close the year. However, these moments of challenge stretch our nervous systems, and they show us our strength and they show us our truth, and they help to align us as individuals with the people who will support us the most in our lives. And I believe many of us have a sense of clarity in some ways that we didn't have at the beginning of 2023. So this is a time to count your blessings and to give gratitude for that which is working, to give gratitude to that which is fertile to that which is beginning to take shape and form, and yet also to be gentle with yourself, to know that we're in a dreaming state of consciousness. At this moment, you are dreaming your cosmic dragon egg into birth. For the year of 2024, when we enter into January on the 11th, we will welcome the Capricorn new moon. And later in the month, Pluto settles into Aquarius and Uranus shifts direct. So January will begin to shift the energies in ways that you have not experienced for many moons. And the pace is going to increase rapidly, and the pressures on your nervous system will continue. And that is why I have offered you ways to nourish yourself and prepare your inner landscape to seed the dream in a good way. Winter solstice is a time to slow down and, if possible, to stop all of the busy activities so that you may carve out a space to reflect as you begin to look forward to a whole new wheel of the year, we are birthing a whole new reality, a whole new world. I love to honor this time of year by cleansing my crystals and stone allies in running water, and you can even place them on the earth to clear them. In the winter solstice, sun, the moonlight, the rain, the snow, or the frost allow them to recharge with the elements. You may feel called to build a nature altar to the solstice with evergreen or garlic, silver birch, yarrow, oranges, apples, cloves, whatever calls to you, whatever is natural to your environment. Because we all live in different places and spaces. This is a time to honor that which is dying and has died while holding on to the promise of that which is to come, to feast and dance by candlelight with friends and family, and to call the light down and embody it so that you may be a lighthouse for others. We can consider sacred sites around the world, including Newgrange, the great pyramids, Karnak temple, and Stonehenge, as sites that honor the solstice point through their orientation, their physical, archaeological orientation. At this time, the root energy is activated. Your root chakra is activated. This root energy correlates to a deep connection with the other world, which is stimulated through dreaming and spiritual learning. Many of you have traveled extensively, either physically or through your hearts and your minds. This has been a year of rekindling connection with nature, with the medicine and the spirits of the wild. This has been a year of the rabbit. By taking great strides and taking great rests. In this year of 2023, Saturn has shifted into Pisces. Pluto entered into Aquarius for the first time in many, many years, and Jupiter ingressed into Taurus. You experienced a profound Venus retrograde in Leo, and the eclipses awakened to the Aries and Libra cardinal alignments of the zodiac. At this time of year, as we welcome in Capricorn season, you may wish to nurture and stabilize your frequency with the crystal wisdom of Garnet. This is a stone that helps to free you from any entanglements, to be unbounded, to resolve conflicts between yourself and the world, teaching you that you are indeed physically strong enough. This pomegranate stone is rich with iron, nourishing your blood and nourishing your qi, your vitality. Garnet reminds you how alive and juicy you are and what a gift it is to be passionate and to enjoy the sacred pleasures of this lifetime.
