They didn’t know at the time, but Judd Roberts and his gang kicked over a big ol’ ant hill when they dragged Sheriff Monty Peel to his death behind a wagon in the small, sleepy town of Palestine, Texas. Monty was a dear friend of Marshal Jubal Stone. Now these high binders will get what they gave and worse. Stone and his deputy marshal, Tanner Burns, arrive in Palestine to show their last respects to the fallen lawman, but soon they’ll be whistling boots and saddles as they track this gang of killers that have so far eluded state and federal law enforcement across the frontier.
Dog mad and fiercely determined, Stone will not stop until the job is done.
