Repenting and Rejoicing

Join us this Sunday! As we enter the third week of Advent, our attention shifts from the final coming of Christ to his presence in our life here and now and in our readings for this Sunday, we see that Christ's presence invites two seemingly contradicting responses: Rejoicing and repenting. This Sunday, we will explore Paul's radical claim to rejoice always and Johns's call to bear fruit in line with Repentance. We'll wrestle with what these two postures mean, and how they are meant to be lived out together.
