Thank you for joining us this Sunday for Grady's Institution Service. In the Anglican tradition, the Bishop (Biblical "Overseer") holds spiritual oversight as the chief Pastor for all the churches in his area. From earliest times, the Bishop has delegated spiritual authority to ministers who lead local Congregations like St Pete's. The "Institution of a Rector" is the service at which this delegation officially happens and the Rector is installed.
