What would an interruption in your life look like right now? A pesky inconvenience? A hoped-for answer to prayer? A wake up call? Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote about interruptions in his book, Life Together: “We must be ready to allow ourselves to be interrupted by God. God will be constantly crossing our paths and canceling our plans by sending us people with claims and petitions.” When God took on flesh that first Christmas in Bethlehem, Jesus interrupted history and came to deliver Heaven’s greatest gift...Salvation in His Name! Not everyone reacted to His interruption in the same way. Jesus wants to interrupt your life this Advent season - how will you respond to him?

Be open to God interrupting your life in an unexpected way. We place our hope in ourselves, other people, or things. Jesus came to bring us hope that we can't find anywhere else. When life seems cut down to nothing, God is up to something.
