Sermon preached at St. Francis Episcopal Church, Great Falls, Virginia, on October 21, 2012, by the Rev. Benson Shelton. Gospel is Mark 10:35-45. This sermon is an adaptation of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "Drum Major Instinct" which he gave on 4 February 1968. King's sermon was an adaptation of the 1952 homily "Drum-Major Instincts" by J. Wallace Hamilton.
