#109 - Comedian Earl Skakel shares great rock + wrestling stories
Episode description
Comedian Earl Skakel enters the pit this week and he's the ideal guest for exploring the intersection between rock and pro wrestling. Earl talks about getting into pro wrestling at a young age, and by chance finding himself backstage at a WWF house show when he was 15 and how meeting Kamala exposed that wrestling was pre-determined for him. We talk about the modern wrestling scene and what AEW needs to do. Plus, Earl shares some amazing stories about his friendships with Roddy Piper and Lemmy, including what it was like to usher Lemmy's funeral. Earl also shares a fun story about sneaking into a Guns N Roses show when he was young.
