UH Mānoa Native Hawaiian Affairs Program Officer Kaiwipunikauikawēkiu Punihei Lipe joins the Spotlight Hawaii LIVE conversation. On Tuesday January 17th, UH Mānoa is holding an inaugural commemoration to mark the Overthrow’s 130th anniversary, and to pay tribute to the National Day of Racial Healing. UH is one of the first campuses in the nation to launch a series of programs to help minority students cope with racial trauma.
