This chapter is the one that has made me the most nervous so far. We are finding out that a whole planet is populated by beings that are not JUST overshadowed, but are literal avatars of the Lone Power. I honestly don't even know what to do with this information. Also, there's the whole thing with Nita's father being totally MIA (not to mention Tom & Carl) and I don't like the smell of that either.
