Thomas and I met on the podcasting network, he had asked for small business owners who have overcome obstacles, and although I did not think I was the guy he was looking for, he became interested as I told my story. Thomas does not suffer from substance abuse problems, but I wanted to know him better ---- and many 12-steppers own and operate their own small business, so I get to potentially help my fellow small business owner friend and get to know Thomas better. As I expected, I enjoyed hearing "his story".
