Ian Whyte

For episode 158, we welcomed Welsh actor and stuntman, Ian Whtye to the show! Ian is known for his roles as Predators in the Alien vs. Predator film series, The Last Engineer in Prometheus, "Sheikh Suleiman" in Clash of the Titans (2010), as well as various characters in the television show, Game of Thrones! He is a former professional basketball player.

In our talk we covered his career in basketball all throughout Europe, to include a championship with FC Porto, his transition from basketball to stuntman and actor, working under a ton of makeup and prosthetics, his pop culture legacy and connection with the fandom in each of the universes he has been a part of thus far, why the character of "Wun Wun" (the giant he portrayed in season 5 and 6 in Game of Thrones) connected with the audience, working under the Star Wars banner, what he has in store, and so much more!
