THE 'H' FACTOR IN YORUBA SPOKEN ENGLISH is of two types, the omission and the insertion 'h' factors. The omission 'h' is the omission of an /h/ sound at the beginning of any word that start with an /h/ sound thereby beginning the pronunciation of such word from the 2nd or the next sound. Also, the insertion 'h' factor is the insertion of an imaginary /h/ sound at the beginning of any word starting with a vowel sound.
