Speaker 1

All a quiki, lover be minido a Spanish quiki, short fan and slightly tiky. Spanish lessons for beginners Mayo Marco two, Professor Latino d'panel and today let's settle one some for all. A common mistake, how do you actually use tao in Spanish? Because I've seen too many students walking around thinking there in an Italian movie? Are you ready for a quiki? Yes, Tao is often confused with Italian tao, and honestly I get it. These sounds almost identical. That's why many think

it's high, as in chiao bela in Italian? Do you speak English? But here is the thing. Tiao in Italian means either high or goodbye. But this is a Spanish quiki, not ita Alian quiki. In Spanish, Tao spelled say a ti a oh, Tao only means by. Tao is a casual, friendly way to say goodbye. So if your friends living after a few beers and says no vemos, you can reply tao, go ahead, repeat after me, tao perfecto. And if you need a little more formal farewell, you can

go for adios or asta ugo. So let's recap. Don't confuse tao in Spanish with tiao in Italian. Italian Tao means both hi and by, but in Spanish Tao only means by. And also keep in mind that tao is more common in casual, friendly settings and that miss a egos. That's all for today, Glassiers Politicular Spanish Quiki by Latin Eli.
