In this episode, we discuss the public-private partnerships in the space industry, their role in shaping modern commercial space businesses as well as their importance in the military satellite developments, with Deepika Jeyakodi.


About the guest speaker:

Deepika Jeyakodi is a curator at Spaceport Sarabhai, India's first space think tank. She is a member of the International Institute of Space Law. She has over 7 years of experience in the aerospace industry working with interdisciplinary teams on contracts, collaborations, intellectual property, innovation, and product marketing. 

 

She co-founded Cheer, a human rights-based NGO in India, and practised law at the Madras High Court before moving to the Netherlands. She has authored book chapters on cybersecurity, contract design, and a book on innovation strategy.

 

She holds an LL.M. (Adv.) in Air and Space Law from Leiden University; an LL.M in International Law and Indian Constitutional Law from Madras University; a diploma in Intellectual Property Laws; and a B.A., B.L. (Hons) from the TNDALU in Chennai. She can be reached on LinkedIn.
