Episode description

Host: Dr. Susan Buttross, Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and Jay White

Topic: In our continuing quest for improving brain health, today I want to talk about anger. Why do many of us hang onto anger at parents, a sibling, a friend, a partner or ex-partner? Is it because we feel justified in having that negative emotion? Well here’s the truth: repressed anger is destructive to our well-being in many ways. So why do we hang onto that emotion instead of letting go? Today we’ll be talking about the how to’s and the why we must let go of anger.
