I wanted to share an interesting definition that is now imperative to include into your financial planning.

It’s called Planned Obsolescence.  So, what the cheese curds is planned obsolescence?

A more formal definition that I found states, PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE describes a strategy of deliberately ensuring that the current version of a given product will become out of date or useless within a known time period. This proactive move guarantees that consumers will seek replacements in the future, thus bolstering demand.

In its simplest form, it means that things are made to break.
