55. Fish the Arkansas River

Fly fishing is a good way to see different places. This year we are going to add to our line-up of shows and look around to see where we might travel to while we enjoy our favorite pastime. 

On this episode David talks with Juan Ramirez about the Arkansas tailwater in Pueblo Colorado. It is an interesting river and the tailwater fish’s somewhat different than a lot of tailwaters.

David and Juan start the conversation with an overview of the Arkansas River, they talk about the seasons starting with Spring and moving into Winter, they get deeper into characteristics of the flies you would tie for the Arkansas tailwater.
