Michael Bird - Bird's Eye View of Philippians

Michael Bird, Lecturer of Theology at Ridley College in Australia, presented a detailed overview of the Book of Philippians from his findings while co-authoring a book, The New Testament in Its World, with N.T. Wright. Michael describes himself as a “biblical theologian” who endeavours to bring together biblical studies and systematic theology. He believes that the purpose of the church is to “gospelize,” that is to preach, promote, and practice the Gospel-story of the Lord Jesus Christ.
