Jim Charette, Painter/Editorial Cartoonist/Graphic Artist/Tattooist/Artist Provocateur to the show! Charette lives with his family in Fall River, Massachusetts, and works out of his home studio.   He attended the venerable Swain School in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He’s done graphics for several local screen printers as a graphic designer.   Jim was also an editorial cartoonist for the Fall River Herald News, as well as, a  freelance humorous cartoonist/illustrator. Wait! There’s more! Jim Charette is also a professional tattoo artist.   He produced a public access tv show called Radio Ether for one year that featured all of his original music and video work. Charette’s paintings have been in numerous group shows and he’s also had a number of solo shows in the United States and abroad.     He is currently on disability for some serious health issues yet he still spends time in the studio every day because, as he says, “I’m not done yet”.   Listen in on how he’s returned to sobriety, is taking care of his health issues and, though he won’t admit it, has become a pivotal individual in the creative community’s forward progression.
