Psalm 23:4 - Valleys and Shadows. It's not hard for us to imagine that God is present and good when we are on the mountain tops of life. It's much harder to imagine that is present in the darkness in the valleys. David's claim in Psalm 23 and one of the reasons that it's captured the hearts and minds of you vanity for years is he got his present both in the green pasture, and in the valley of death. He gets believers in perspective by which we can navigate life start valleys, and come out the other and still following out good shepherd.
