FULL EPISODES OF SOUNDTRACKER CAN ONLY BE FOUND EXCLUSIVELY ON PATREON!

Lots and lots of movies have soundtracks. Some are classics. Some are bad. But the majority fall somewhere in between. This podcast is going to take a look at all of them (or, as many as I can). Every week I'll be covering a different movie that had an original motion picture soundtrack, and then digging into the album. One part film discussion, one part music discussion, the Soundtracker podcast is here to help you navigate the wide world of movies and music. In each episode, myself and a guest discuss the movie and its soundtrack, rate each one, give you our picks for the best songs on the soundtrack, and suggest additional recommendations for what to watch or listen to in relation to whatever we're covering. So join me, as I look back at an era that's largely a thing of the past, and maybe you'll find a new favorite film or song along the way. New episodes every Friday. Theme Song provided by Howell Dawdy of Howell Dawdy's Fast Track https://soundcloud.com/howelldawdysfasttrack. Edited by Ross Reilly (@4_5_and_7). Episode 44: Cool as Ice (with Stuart Wellington of The Flop House)

Today I'm joined by bar owner, comedian and podcaster Stuart Wellington (@flophousecat on Twitter and IG) of The Flop House podcast, and we're talking about Vanilla Ice's attempt at movie stardom, COOL AS ICE. So drop that zero and get with the hero. And then l...

Episode 42: Hackers (with Morgan Kleinschmidt)

In this episode we talk about how everyone looks too old to be the characters they play, how Fisher Stevens absolutely understood the assignment, our admittedly small knowledge of hacker culture, and the soundtrack. So, "hack the planet!"* *Listen to this episode Sign up for the Patreon to help keep the show going h...

Today I'm joined by comedian, podcaster, and #1 Joey Deluxe Fan Jeff May (@heytherejeffro on Twitter and IG) to talk about GODZILLA '98. In this episode we talk about what went wrong with the movie, the few things it did right, Matthew Broderick's hat, the extremely 1998 soundtrack and how much it whips ass, how unironically good the Puff Daddy song still is, and how the Godzilla Remix of Brain Stew is the only version that matters. So "come with us" (eh, eh?) and reminiscence on one of the best...

Today on Soundtracker, I'm joined by Unread's Chris Stedman (@ChrisDStedman on IG and Twitter) to talk about Britney Spears' unfairly maligned (even at the time of release) film CROSSROADS.
