Swedish Premat Show starts now. Well after a week of three matches at home, capped with a zero zero dragainst Poland, your Seattle Sounders have hit the road and are preparing to face one of MLS's newest teams, Charlotte FC. So welcome into the Sounders FC Prematch Show, presented by Providence, Swedish official healthcare partner of Seattle Sounders FC and Mett Jackson. Felt here alongside Pete Feing for the premat show. Pete Feeling will have the call alongside Danny Jackson coming

up in just about a half hour. As the Sounders are at Charlotte FC at Bank of America Field in Charlotte, North Carolina. There's a lot to get to. Pete will of course get to the delta starting eleven for the Seattle Sounders here in a little bit, we'll go over the injury situation for Seattle, which there is a big piece of news to update on that in a few minutes, will of course have our sharp vision upon an outlook on

Charlotte FC, a team that Seattle has only ever played once before. We'll have our players to watch and keis to the match all before you and Danny get things going in just about a half hour. But Pete, before we start to break down Seattle Charlotte, as we always do, we look back. And that was a week three matches in that eight day stretch at home, Pete, where the club took four points Scott, the win against New York great, loss against San Jose not great, and then the draw against

Portland, the zero zero draw. The bright side of that, Pete was the fact that we saw the returns Christian Rolled on Rol Ri Diez back on the field after a tough sixty minutes, Pete, from my eyes, this team really looked much better in that last thirty We started to kind of see once again the quality that the seatt Sounders and bring when Christian and Roll were out there, Yeah, the moment they stepped on the field, the crowd got engaged with it. Christian was very good down the right hand side.

He had Baker behind him, Cody Baker behind him, and he made Cody Baker play better. It elevated his game as well. And then Ruy Diaz was dangerous inside the box, got into some good spots for opportunities. But you could feel it was one of those where the Sounders knew it, but their opponent knew it as well. Look out, they're coming onto the field. So great to see them get back in. I think we learned last year after we lost JP that he was a significant part of the success.

Sort of does the yeoman's work. I think we started to realize that as well. With Christian, we always knew he was very good, but it's his energy and you talked to players around the league. They don't like playing against Christian Roldan because he's so tenacious, he never gives up, he's a strong leader, and then he's got quality. He can score or you can get assist. So it is great that they made it back into the on the field and look forward to seeing him today. Now on the flip side,

it was great seeing them back. Still zero goals in that game, and right now we're inside of the longest stretching club of history without scoring two plus goals in the match. We've gone ten without doing so. So the simple question is is getting Christian le plus by the way, Alexit right back, he's back from yellow card accumulation suspension? Is getting everybody back except for Jordan Morris? Is that the answer to solving the attack? Is it as

simple as health or do more things have to get fixed? Well? I think it puts pressure right. Ruidiaz has had three starts and he's got two goals. Morris has nine goals, right, and so he knows that he's

got to produce. He really has to produce. When you think about George Morris's goals, they've been in the spot where Ruy Diaz is playing right and most of them have been him getting through the box, Chew cutting it from the left hand side across and Morris, you know, inside five six yards getting on the end of crosses, and so Ruidias has to feel some pressure. It's also his DNA goal scorers are that way. They have to score goals. I played with a couple guys and they weren't scoring goals. They

were miserable and they they had a chip on their shoulder. They made it miserable for those around him when they're scoring goals. It's wonderful. But Ruy Dias, in my opinion, you know, asked to produce or they you know, they got a bear on the bench and Montero as well, so Seattle has firepower up front. So it's but Ruy Diaz has been the guy we've always looked to. Right now he finally gets back on the field.

Well, you know mentioned they are the options about players returning. And by the way, Jordan Morris quickly mentioned before we get to all the line it's Jordan Morris is in Charlotte. He is on the bench. As Brian Spencer said at his press conference over the last couple of days, George Morris will be available and he is available on the bench tonight for the Sounders. Now I mentioned getting all these guys back, there is one very important player for

the Sounders attack who is not available. And with that Pete, let's jump and let's hear or the delta starting eleven for Brian Spencer's Seattle Sounders. Brian puts out a lineup that I think we all are a bit relieved to see five guys making it back to the lineup. It's a four two three one

which we've seen for the last few years. Frying goal, Alex Holdon, you're right back, Gomez and Ratti and Reagan, your center backs knew who you're left back on the right hand side, Christian rold on left hand side, Chew in the middle of the park, Jail Paulo and Vargas welcome him back to the lineup after being with the U twenties, and then Rusnak will sit right underneath Ruidias and I think that's a great position for Rusnak. He too, I think knows he's got to produce. This is a good spot

for him to do that. Want to dive further into those comments there, but I know that people are instantly saying to themselves, where the heck is Nicholas Ladero. Let's quickly dive into the Providence Swedish team health report. Soda Kitahara out with a right quad strain. Jordan Morris was questionable with a left a ductors strain he suffered while scoring that goal against New York a couple of weeks ago. He's back, as we mentioned on the bench. But then

Nicholas Ladero he suffered a right abductor strain during training. He questionable on the injury report. He did not make the trip to Charlotte. So Nicholas Ladero is out tonight with a right adductor strain. Hopefully we can get Nico back soon. But it is because Niko is out that Albert Russnack slides up into the number ten position, the number ten position that he is so very accustomed

to playing with Royal salt Lake for so many years. Your sounders bench tonight to be mentioned obviously, Jordan Morris has Pete mentioned, Freddy Montero and a Bear. Others include Stephen Cleveland, Javier ari Yaga, Cody Baker who had a great game against Portland we mentioned him, Callen Row, Josha Tencio, and Dylan Tevis. So that is your sounders bench. We'll get into Charlotte's line up during our sharp vision opponent at look here in a few minutes.

But Pete, we need to spend some time and talk about Seattle. No Nicholas Ladero, So as you mentioned, Albert Russnack slides up into that number ten spot. We were talking to Brian Spencer yesterday in our production meeting, and it does sound like Nico when he plays that number ten spot, he does tend to drift left and he tends to play a little more on that left side, play in combination with Leo che out there on the left or

Morris when Morris is in. He did say that, and I asked him what's going to be the difference in Albert Russknack playing that number ten spot. He said, he's going to be playing a little more centrally. And one of the things, Pete, that stands out to me is if you're going to have that, you know your number ten who has been Niko more in the middle of the park as opposed to drifting out left. That's gonna allow

Leo Chew to kind of do his thing out on that left wing. Yeah, you're absolutely correct, and that's what wingers want, especially at Leo Chi or Morris. If he's on the right side, you don't want guys getting in the way. He got a little crowded over there where who was there? Che was there and Nico Ledero And they want Nico on the ball. So now where does Chow go? Now he's got the entire flank to himself, who will most likely stay home. That's been what he is amo this

season. For the most part. He will stale for the most part. For the most part, I have to catch myself a little bit. He might go on a gallop. But but Shu, I think this gives him a great opportunity, and he has two terrific targets in Ruidiaz and Rusneck. When Nicol Ladero's on the left hand side, that means he's not at the

edge of the box for the cutback. So Ruy Diaz will get to the near post, Russneck will get, you know, the twelve yards spot, the penalty spot, and Christian Wildon will get in the box as well, so as Chu will when Roldan's got the ball. So I like it. I think the shape will be a little bit different, and I think it's advantageous to the personnel on the field. I think you're absolutely right that exact

tactical element of when Leo Chu and he does like to run it. Guys, he clearly knows that he is faster than ninety percent of the people out there. So and if not ninety nine point nine percent of the people out there in this league. So when Leo Chu runs at guys, having another option across the ball too is a big thing. And Albert Russneck, as we saw what forty what forty two forty one goals in his time with Roali, saw like in that number ten spot. This is a clinical finisher who

knows how to put the ball on the back of the net. This is the place. This is the exact spot on the field where he did that from. So big thought there for Albert Russnack being able to succeed in the number ten spot where you listen, we mentioned a couple minutes ago the Sounders haven't scored two plus goals in more than two months. That was April eighth against Saint Louis where the team won three nothing. Haven't scored two plus in

an MLS match since then. If Albert Russnack playing more centrally, going up a line and succeeding in the number ten spot is the key to scoring two plus tonight, then great. Whatever way they need to unlock this offense,

it needs to be unlocked and hopefully we see that tonight. Then on the defensive end, Ohbed Vargas just got back from the U twenty World Cup with the United States U twenty national team advanced to the quarterfinals before a loss against Uruguay and Pete Is We've seen time and time again this kid from Alaska is uber talented and another chance for him to show up tonight. Yeah, no

question. You know, when I'm looking at the lineup in the shape and you're saying the things that you're seeing about Niko, two things come to mind. One, JP loves to hit that diagonal ball up and over and now has the option of going to the right side with Christian or the left side with Chew. That means for the opponent they can't not cover each side right

because they've got two talented wingers. And then when you look at Vargas, for instance, I think it's very interesting for Vargas that you know, he just he got three starts in the U twenty his resume. Now he came out gangbusters, then had the back injury last year, couldn't get back. Understandable, they had to. They had to kind of lock him down for the remainder of last season. But now he's back on track and coming back to your team after playing with the U twenty worke up and as you said,

losing too nothing to Uruguay. Peppi Fernandez, I know has to be very happy about that, the great Uruguayan, but I think it's one of those things where he too is getting his opportunity. But here's the deal, here's the truth of the matter. You hate to see your captain not starting, you hate to see Lao out. But Russneck to your point, at RSL fifteen goals, fifteen assists in the season before he came to Seattle. It's only had a few goals since he's been with US, one this year,

and I think he maybe had one or two last year. So he knows that. And the way the team is right now to your point, not scoring, you know, two goals in the last ten games, that's not good enough. So he knows that if he goes in, does a job, get the goals, he gets to say in that spot as long as he's hot. So and that's just kind of the same with Rueidias, right with he's got to score goals, stay hot to stay in the lineup.

That's a great point exactly. Welcome back to the Providence, Swedish prematch show Jackson Folks alongside Pete viewing Pete who will be calling the match alongside Danny Jackson coming up in just about twenty minutes here on sports Radio at nine fifty KJR AM as the Sounders are in Charlotte, North Carolina at Bank of America Field to face Charlotte FC. Now let's dig into our sharp vision opponent Alec and talk more about this Charlotte team really quickly to go over their starting lineup.

They have Colleena in goal. Their back four is a bit diff Frint the right back, Lindsay, he's dropping back in a little bit more of an athletic right back in Lindsay Milanda and Jones. Jones is actually a holding midfielder. They've put it at one of their center back spots today, so more indication that Charlotte wants to be a little more quick on the defensive end. And then Burn as their left back. There three midfielders. Ben Bender,

who scored against Seattle in May's match last year. We're Seattle one. Bronco is going to be their holding midfielder in this four three three, and Ashley Westwood, a talented left midfielder, is there on the left. And then they're attacking three Justin Miram, a veteran of MLS, a journeyman who's bounced around it feels like at this point a dozen teams. He's on the left, Vargas on the right, and then Carol Swiderski, who we're going

to talk about here in a few minutes. Carol Swaderski a very talented forward. He is their designated player, their Polish man. He is going to be at the top at the number nine spot. Pete. Some more details here. Charlotte six eight and three ninth place in the Eastern Conference, just barely over that playoff line entering the weekend with twenty one points. They are home today after two straight road losses one nothing at Philadelphia four two at Columbus

last week, so they're back home. Also, they were knocked out of the US Open Cup by Birmingham Legion two weeks ago in a big upset. But Pete, this is a club that we are We are definitely seeing, as I mentioned, more athletic on the back end, and they have some talented men up top who can put a goal in the back of the net. Yeah, and they've started off gangbusters. Their attendance has been fantastic,

and their first year it's dropped off a little bit. They average it says they average forty thousand, but they've had a couple of seventy one, seventy thousand, one sixty thousand, so probably a little bit smaller than that. But it is a good team and I love the Miriam as it's played in three hundred and forty two games I've seen his name on a lot of jerseys through the years. But he's got three goals and four assists, so he's

getting it done. And the Polish striker up front, Swaderski five goals to assists. He's a bit of a load six foot, you know, strong post up player who can get through the box. He's gonna give Jackson, Reagan and Gomezendradi a bit of a handful. The one thing is Chew. We talked about him getting himself forward. Lindsay the right back who will end up dealing with Chew. He's got four assists. Alex Roldan has three assists

and no other assists for any of our are starting defenders. So our right side we attack out of the right side with Lindsay, it's they too will be attacking out of the right side. But he might have to stay home a little bit more to take care of Chew. So it'll be interesting to see if he gets involved in the offensive side or is that trying to get speed for speed on the right hand side. Yeah, that will be an

interesting dynamic about how this game evolves. Because in watching Charlotte's matches back and I think it was very evident against Columbus in that four to two loss. They play and they start out in kind of just a base formation of this four three three attacking lineup, and then because they are attacking when they have to defend, it ship into a four four two and Vargus crew and Vargus will drop back. He has two goals to assists on the year, he'll

drop back and it creates his four to two. But in that shift, teams can beat them. Now, part of that was the unathletic nous of their you know, back line. I mean Bill Tuoloma, former Portland timber, was one of the center backs who's been with you know, pretty much the lockdown center back for a while. He's not playing today, he's on the bench. So it seems Pete like they have kind of gone out of their way to make changes to specifically go against a quicker Seattle team with Chew

and rolled down on the wings. Yeah, when you lose two in a row and you lose a US Open Cup against a non MLS team, you gotta make changes and you gotta send messages. And it's a little bit like that with the Sounders right now. Although the reason for the changes is more availability of more healthy bodies or guys Alex coming back from the yellow card suspension

and Vargus coming back. But for Charlotte, they've got to make some changes because you know, the head coach las Uneasy, Okay, what else is he gonna do? Right, you gotta do you gotta do something that says, hey, we're If you're not getting the job done and we're not doing it, your fans want to know you're thinking about it. And it does make sense. It's a four two three one against a four three three.

I like if I'm coaching a four three three, I'll like it when we could go to a four four two defensively right, and it's easy to teach it. See, hey, you come back, and frankly, if someone's higher up, someone else could make the comeback. It doesn't always have to be Vargas for Charlotte, but it'll be it'll be interesting to see how the new both sides, now the new guys take advantage of this opportunity. Yeah, because Seattle, this is the best lineup they've put out since April eighth

against Saint Louis. Now finally with Roll and Christian healthy. So this is definitely a kind of two new look for lineups, at least two new look elevens that the clubs haven't seen in a while. You know, first Charlotte, they started the season this we had this recent rough patch. They started the season one four and two. They bounced back by winning five of six games in now they're in this rough stretch again. So it's really a tail

of three seasons for Charlotte. So you know, I come into this game asking the basic question of will the real Charlotte FFC please stand up? And we will see what Charlotte FC stands up here tonight at Bank of America Field. We'll take it right. We'll come back and give you our sounders SC players to watch and the history between these two clubs. More coming up on

Sounders are in Charlotte, North Carolina at Bank of America Field to face as Charlotte FC tonight. Pee of hearing Danny Jackson will have the call coming up in just about ten minutes before we get there.

Before we get to our Sounders FC players to watch, I'll quickly tell you the very very brief history between these teams. There's only one game, and that happened last May. Sounders want to know against Charlotte. That first game was in May last year, where the Sounders two to one. It was a dramatic game, one of the really kind of big bright spots post

Champions League last year. There weren't many of them, unfortunately, but this was a very bright spot where Ben Bender, the former number one draft pick for Charlotte FC, he scored in I think the twenty first minute. Sounders went a long time, but then Jordan Morris Rollridez scored in the seventy second and eighty off minutes and the Sounders come back and win that match two to

one and got the full three points of their at loom In Field. But this is the first time the Sounders aren't making this long cross country road trip to Bank of America Field in Charlotte North Carol lineup. Now, let's get to our Sounders FC players to watch Pete. Who you're looking for? For me, it's Albert Russnack. I want to see him take advantage of this opportunity to play in a spot he's very comfortable with and keep the spot and

he needs to be productive. I wish him all the best. That's interesting, you know, in terms of keeping that spot right. Because this is a team, as we mentioned a couple of segments ago, that we haven't scored two plus goals in more than two months, and there have been questions about how to figure out the attack. If Albert Russnack comes in, plays

more centrally, as Brian Spencer told us yesterday that he would. And if they have more success on the offensive end and they unlock, and let's just throw out a crazy situation that they win three nothing or four nothing and Russnack pulling the strings at the number ten spot is the key. Could he hold on to that spot? Well, you talked about Charlotte having sort of three

seasons this year, and it's the same for the Sounders. Right, we're over the halfway point, So maybe in this block of games Russneck takes control of that position. We know Nico can come back and get the job done. The other thing is, if Rusnack does well and Vargas does well, I think they like JP and Vargas playing together. I think they like that combination. Prior to JP's injury, I think we were starting to see some

chemistry forming there. So if Rusnack does the job, Vargas does the job, it wouldn't surprise me if Brian Spenser next week LA kept that same three in the midfield. Interesting, all right, we'll see how things shake out tonight. My player to watch his role Ruid. He has for the very simple truth of welcome back role. Now make your money and you know and show us why you are the striker that teams fear so much, because you know, listen, he is a star designated player for our club. And

it's great that he's back. But in these last couple games where he's come off the bench, he hasn't put away those chances. Role, you know, we gotta put away the chances. It's time welcome back. Now score now, just score and put a ball in the back of the net because because they would listen, you gotta score to win. And I would love to see three points tonight, right And he knows that more than anyone.

The frustration on his face on the couple of three chances that he had in the last one, he knows he's got to come in and produce and he and he knows that those chances that he missed is not like him, so he's got to He wants to correct it more than anybody watching this game or anybody in the world right now. He wants to get it done absolutely. So those are our players to watch, Russnack and Ruey Daz. We'll take

And it was a great ball from Jackson Reagan out of the back, simple control, execution was clean and he rolls it in the back of the net. Great stop by the sounder is Charlotte nail sound as one. What a great touch and a great ball from Jackson Reagan. I had just said, no goals, no assists from three of the four defenders, and he just hits a ball right over the top. Great awareness from Christian rolled on if perfect first touch, lays it down and a simple finish. He made that

look very very easy, but it was not easy. Had a defender on his backside, the ball up around his head and just a simple quality finish between the hand and the left leg of Klain and I'll tell you good Ford or Jackson to see it. And that was almost too easy, you know, by Christian Roldon. He showed his strength a moment ago with a defender

on his back and there again right awareness. Well, we've talked about the the miss the Christian Roldon has been in the last couple of months, been out for an extended period due to the concussion of whip lash she received.

She second gold in the season for Christian Roldon, and certainly a defensive work has been missed, but his offensive work as well, the ability to get in behind, and he showed it there and it was a very simple route one ball by Jackson Reagan and that shows the vulnerability of Charlotte's defense. So a little bit of a challenge for the Seattle Sounders to show some maturity and brush that goal off and

go back to attacking Charlotte. Well, Sound is seven and one on the season when they go up a goal, let's see if that record can hold true. What a great finish, What a relief for him, for his teammates, and to see the training staff come on the field give a high five is telling.

As I think he mentioned in pregame, Rudy has made some chance against San Jose, desperate to get on the school sheet, and tonight he's back into the starting lineup, certainly the places that he feels most comfortable leading the line for the Sounders. five shots on target. There's certainly a bit of fishing up with that pressure on Killeena's goal. They held possession and they looked good doing so. Sounders were all over Charlotte and it finally broke where in the eleventh minute, a long ball. It was a restart Jackson Reagan, a long ball to Christian rolled on, he brings it down at the top of the box, taps it by Kalina that went in to give the Sounders a one nothing lead.

Then that's the portion where Charlotte now took control of this game, and they had a really good twenty minutes here where they really right after Seattle score, they got on the front foot, they stayed on Seattle, they kept possession. of time in the MLS, you get freedom. And when you've got a guy like Ruy Diaz upfront who's going to attract some defenders, you've got maybe some room as well. And then you look and got JP behind you, of Vargus behind you, You've got on the left, You've got you, You've got rolled on on the right. He's got a lot of options to be able to play and enjoy the game. Really because in his previous role last year, as you said, he had some defensive responsibilities that had to

be you know, he had to take care of. This gives him the freedom to play to his strengths or go to this near side the right. Alex Roldon lays it back to JP inside the box the Christian Rold on right hand side, just to get past Bronco challenge well by Alex Roldon cleared eventually finds Bender works itself around to Westwood, knocks the ball longest for Dusky is

of other colors the Sounders have had over the years. But a chance for Charlotte remains too too. But I thought Fry had a good read on it, had a good look at it looked like if it was inside the post, Fry would have gotten to it. But Bender hit it very well and so hard that it crimmed all the way out to the sideline for a throw in. Danny, I don't think

this game ends too too. I don't know which way it goes each team. Obviously we just set one off the post. Each teams had their chances, but there seems that this could end in a three two game and somebody being very happy and someone being very disappointed. Charlotte come again with Bronco this near side the left, rolls it out to Merriam eighteen yards from the end line. Comes this side and is preferred the right foot rolls it across square

to Jones. Pressure from over to Vargas, but Jones, after riggle freed place to Vargas to the right hand side for Charlotte comes in collected easily by Stephen Fry in old yellow. Sounders now needs to be strong on it's next five minutes to absorbed this pressure. Here the Sounders backs against the wall for the last five or ten minutes since that Westward goals you mentioned. It was like for like for Rudy as his thirty fifth minute goal strike from outside the box

finds the far corner. Both Kalina for Ruidiaz and Stephen fry for Westwood couldn't do anything about it. The quality of the shot be the goalkeeper. Yeah,

I've had that impact on the field. Gains has been up and down, Cambridge been up and down. And now as we get into six minutes of extra mile stoppage, chime sounds get a short break. Can they find Pete that winning goal? I think they can. It's this just seems one of those games that

it's not over till you know the last touch of the ball. I think there was a football game with the Patriots where whoever had the ball in the last sequence the last series was gonna win it. And this is one of those where each team, but honestly, each team has the potential to put one more in the back of the net. Well for the sound, as we mentioned three to three and one away from home this season, disappointing to give up such a late goal. No real pressure on the ball from the

cross. It was on the left hand side, whipped in about thirty yards out from the end line with a right foot and it was a backward glanced headed to the bottom corner. You know, it's just a little giveaway by Seattle in the defensive third that started it, and then Charlotte ended up with about ten passes in a row and they kept pumping the ball in the box

similar to the Sounder goal bolts to Rosneck left corner of the Bucks. Challenge well by Jones who wins it. Back to goal challenge by Rosneck, no foul needed. It's gonna roll out of pounds and eventually the referee does give the free kick deep on the near right hand side of the field. That's gonna be a free kick for Charlotte. a big win for either team. Danny who if if one team can get a goal there, it's going to be an incredibly happy and uplifted locker room. They'll also admit they could have maybe stopped a couple of the goals, but in this situation you got to give Charlotte credit and the Sounders credit. The finishing was great, the resolve to get balls, get to balls to

create goals. I think each coach will be disappointed not to get three points, but I think they'll be satisfied with the effort and a lot of the quality. The Amak comes away with it, so grafting a ship free kick for the Sounders. As it again to the eighth minute of six minutes of added time, referees added a couple more as we Sounders now ball at Steffron Fry's foot and the Sounders with this point will get them to twenty eight points

on the season eight six and four. The three goals from rolled On and two goals from Rudias will certainly put a smile on Brown's face, but couldn't get that win of back of a defensive performance that's conceded gold. to three. Peego final thoughts, well, three goals is terrific. We haven't had that since April eight, so I think they'll be pleased with that. They've had so many shutouts this year, so giving up three goals is going to be a bit disappointing. But it was a very entertaining game. At two two, you just felt there was something left. Even the last kick of the ball, you still felt that something was left in the tank. So I feel like we got our Seattle Sounders back. I think guys

got important minutes. I think players came off the bench to continue to make themselves important to the squad, Cody Baker being one of those. And so and we get some injured guys back, Jordan Morris and kell and Rowe. And to your point, ten days now, we're in a better spot. We're still top of the table, but we have games in hand. But as Yggi Shamid used to always say, those teams have to win those games. It's not given that they're going to get the points that separate in the

number of games. So well, well, back to back ties for this Sounds continues to push the sound as up the Western Conference. And and Charlotte gets three goals, the three shots on goal, that's tough. They have three goals, very efficiency.

Yet to get six shots on goal and they get three. So a little bit tough. But but we could be very upset that we lost, you know, three two. Yeah, so, and and the fact that the goals were excellent. The goals were excellent, and we've been we've been quite concerned that we haven't gotten two goals, you know, in a month and a week now, first time since if the team scored two plus goals too much. Yeah, that's a lot, that's a bad stretch. It has

been a while. But your sounder is getting the point on the road tonight three three. I do like seven shots, six of them on goal. Good efficiency for the Sounders. That is in the last game, right, yeah, for sure, for sure. But before your sounders there it is only a point. Weren't able to get that three points. They were leading three two. But the Charlotte scores in the eighty ninth minute to a cross put in and there was not a guy within ten yards of the cross.

That's the that's the thing that that irks me. But at the end of the day ball goes into the back of the net on the header that makes it three three. just won the World Cup with Argentina. I see Anders wearing his Argentina Jersey right there, who has won so much across the entire globe. He is coming to MLS. He's joining into Miami. He will begin playing with them this summer. Messi in MLS, Messi with Miami. Pe viewing your reaction to the Great the Goat now joining our league, Well, I think it's tremendous and it's a it's a great step, and it's a great compliment.

I think that Messi and his team of advisors chose to come here turning down one point three billion, yeah, yeah, and Saudi Arabia, and I think it's I think it's wonderful. I think he wants to embrace it all. He has a home there in Miami, and he wants to be a human being and a soccer player. I like how, in other words, you know, if you're playing around the world, sometimes guys like him can't go anywhere, right, So I'd think he'll get a little bit of that.

I think Wayne Rooney experienced that at DC where he could actually drop his kids off. But I think he's he's the kind of guy that's not gonna slough off. They've We've had players who have come here with great resumes, nothing like this except maybe Pille But but but I think he's going to give an honest effort and I think that's great. Chris Anderson is our GM for many many years. Has to be thrilled and excited. Um, I don't know MESSI knew that they wore pink, but you know that's fine. I

think the fact that they but they're in fifteenth place in the East. They've won five games this season, and the expectation, just like the he carried a tremendous amount of expectation going into this World Cup to get Argentina another World Cup and his first World Cup, to in many people's minds, sort of legitimize his career, which he certainly did, and it was already done before

that. But he's gonna come here to make a mark. Like David Beckham and who's an owner of the Miami franchise, the two of them talked, I'm sure about the possible impact and how it can affect the game. Pelee coming in when he did the NSL was in much different spot. MLS is

in a great spot to have this edition. I'll have a lot of thoughts on sounders quickly coming up on a Wednesday, we'll have a lot of coverage on Messi to MLS, but I'll quickly say that no matter what he does on the field, his off the field impact is already being felt and it's fantastic, fantastic for American soccer. Cannot wait to see what he does for MLS for the sport in this country. It is a seismic move for him to turn down all that money from Saudi Arabia, choose MLS and choose to

basically change the culture of soccer in America. It's fantastic. Cannot wait to have Messi start playing there with Miami in MLS, and hopefully I'll be able to see him facing the Seattle Sounders at some point next year.
