Welcome to the Senators FC prematch Show presented by Providence Swedish and Night You're Seattle, Sounders FC faced Nashville sc to. Night's match is presented by Extra Mile, a convenience store with extra free yourself right at Extra Mile Office. The Provident Swedish prematch show starts nat Well, unbeaten in their last five games and with a new evolved brand You're Seattle. Saunders have hit the road and so

have we, so as our broadcast. We're all here in the Capitol Country Music, Nashville, Tennessee for today's match between the Rave Green and Nashville sc here at Beautiful Judas Park. So welcome into the Sunder's FC Prematch Show, presented by Providence Swedish official healthcare partner of Saunders FC. Jackson Felt's alongside Saunders Legend Brad Evans and Sea Hottle University's Pete viewing, we are counting you down to kickoff for the next half hour. For Danny Jackson and Steve Zakawani,

we'll have the call Michelle Luck on the sideline as well. For Sounders and Nashville sc Well. It's very simple for the Sounders win and we're in a win will clinch a playoff spot here tonight against Nashville SC. We'll quickly set the stage for this match, and then we'll spend a few minutes talking about the brand evolution. Then you crest all that good stuff. We'll get to

our sharp vision opponent ALEC on Nashville. We'll have our players to watch keys of the match, all that good stuff before Danny and Steve and Michelle take the air. So let's dove dive right in before we go any further, because there is updated news. If you are looking at the lineup on Twitter a few minutes ago, there is a change. So Pete Fewing, what is the updated Delta? Starting eleven, Brian Schmitzer puts out his usual four

two three one stepan fry. Your captain is in goal, You're right back. Alex rolled On, Gomez, Androtti and Reagan are your center backs. Baker Whiting your left back. In the center of the park, JP next to him, Josh Attensio on the right side, Christian rolled On, Leo Chew on the left side. Ledero sits right underneath a bear scratch for Ruy Diaz. Rudy has experienced some back pain. That is the reason why rawl is out here. So a bear getting the start. Let's quickly take a

look at the bench for the Sounders. That includes Stephen Cleveland, Javier Ariaga, Kellen Row, oh Bit Vargas, Ethan Doublair, Paul Rothrock and Freddy Monzo Brad. What are you looking at for national side? Yeah, so

you've got Joe Willis. This is a strong line up. Let's preface that for Nashville at home, So Joe Willison that you have Daniel Love, It's Jack Mayor, Shack Moore and Walker zimmm across the back, and then Dax and Goody will sit in that middle of midfield layouts on the wing with Schoppelberg, and then Muktar could be end up being your Golden Boog winner this year,

and he's a motivated player right now. And then you've got Sam Surich who's who's come into this team and is playing well as a number nine. Yes he is. And Andy Moots our fifteen goals tennis sists I might be the leader for MLS MVP right now. He is exceptional. We'll talk more about Nashville here in a little bit. I'll quickly you may notice a couple of absences in terms of the players we listed right there for the Sounders.

So let's quickly take a look at the Provident Swedish team health reports. I'll mention Knew who is out due to yellow card accumulation suspension, Soda Kidaha out with a left quad strain. A questionable was Albert Rusnack with an illness. He remained in Seattle. Cody Baker he is still in concussion protocol. He is not available either. And also we'll tell you that Jordan Morris remade in

Seattle following the birth of his child. Congratulations to Jordan, and I'll say tonight's team health report is presented by Providence, Swedish official healthcare partner of Sounders FC. So let's tag in and let's take a look at what Brian Schweitzer has tonight. Let's start Brad with a bear. A bear getting the opportunity great start to the season, hasn't seen a lot of productions since that very beginning. So what do you make of him coming in here after this late

scratch? Yeah, well, we got no choice to put a bear up top. I think just as his Sounders team started to get healthy and get that consistent lineup. Christian had just come into the lineup and we were feeling really good about the last four games of the season, and then all of a sudden, now we're missing four tonight, maybe five. So his inclusion is due to absences. But it's not that he's not a bad player. He just got hit by a little bit of an injury bug at the wrong

time and other guys started to come into form. Leo Chio, Brian Schmitzer talked about it, which pushed Jordan up top. He scored four goals in Kansas City and all of a sudden abears find himself on the outside. But that's the life of a striker. And the Sounders, different than years past now have a plethora of options as in number nine, and he's just unfortunately been that number three. But tonight he's playing for a contract, I would imagine, and at this point he is he's got to perform for us.

He's got to be strong, he's got to work for seventy eighty minutes and give it all he has. I know a player like that is going to be disappointed that he hasn't been playing, But at the end of the day, he's got to get that out of his head. And if he can produce tonight and show that he's here for the team, that could carry in the playoffs. Right, We've seen Nelson Valdez not played too much in the season. All of sudden we get in the playoffs and he scored some massive

goals for the club. We need everyone on this roster to win an MLS Cup. It's night. It starts with the inclusion of three or four new players. Yeah, I think you're right. It's funny. I was thinking of Nelson as well, and Brian Schmitzer put him into the lineup and he took advantage of it. And and as you said Brian was talking today, it's just been a timing thing for him. It's not that he's been playing poorly. It's just that he got injured at the wrong time and guys moved

ahead of him. So the great opportunity for him. Brad's right. He might be playing for a new contract and we need him and it's this is a chance for him to stay in the lineup. Right. We got four games left this a busy week. Three this week here Wednesday and then Saturday, both at home. So it's a great opportunity for him, and Brian

has a lot of confidence in him, so does a team. Let's take a look at the guy who's sitting right under him in the number ten spot, Nicholas Fledero Russnack out today with that illness, and Brad, I'm interested to kind of get your perspective on a guy in Nico's situation where it looked like he may be even close to losing that starting number ten spots to Albert. So here he is starting to day with a chance to kind of listen, if you want this spot back, you need a good performance tonight.

Yeah. Look, it's a team built around, you know, eighteen plus players, and every single player throughout a season, no matter how good you are, goes through ebbs and flows, right unless you're the best players in the world that are so consistent. That's why they get paid the most money play at the biggest clubs. But he has been so consistent for this team, and we're just now seeing that little dip in his form and not really

not providing those key passes in certain moments. His mobility is still there, but he just doesn't have that same quickness as we age. That's kind of just what happens. So he needs to become a bit more mercurial tonight and really just pick up and be in the right spots because I'm telling watching the

warmups Nashville is gonna come out flying tonight. They're at home. This is their fifth and final game against Western Conference team, I think, and so they're gonna want to pick up points against a team outside of their conference. And Nico's got to be that guy today. Yeah, I haven't played that much, but at the end of the day, if you want to be here next year, you gotta perform on the field, and no matter what your role is, sometimes we have to evolve as a brand and also evolve

as a player. And so tonight is a big night for Nico to lead this team on the pitch away from home. I think he's got to stay central. He can't. He has been better in the last few games of not getting all over the park, point not getting in choose way. He's got to be an outlet for JP and Josh Atencio, and he's got to be able to slip balls in why did chew? Why to rolled on and

find day Bear. He's got to stay really within the eighteen the width of the eighteen, the length of the field, and he's got to stay up a little bit higher. You mentioned Josh Atencio. Let's quickly talk about him, the fact that he comes off a very good performance against Colorado in that two to one win a week and a half ago, made the Sounders unbeaten in the last five, and then now Brian seems like rewarding him again,

Brad with this start here today. Well, look, I think Josh has actually played better away from home than he has at home, and I think he's got a he's got a very calm personality and demeanor about him. So I think his opportunity to step in here today, and by that aerial prowess that he has. He's big, he's physical. You're gonna go up against

an experienced player in good Dooy and Dax. Sometimes he's gonna go for set pieces and they have two big center backs, they got a big striker, So he's gonna be the guy that's gonna have to clean up a lot of stuff tonight for the Sounders. Yeah, I think Brian made that call. You're right because of his athleticism and then also his height. Zimmerman's got two goals on restarts, and Nashville has the most expected goals on restarts in MLS. So it was a good decision, right, and it was strategic and

it's a great opportunity. I like your coming. He has played better on the road, which is very interesting. You know, maybe getting away from get whatever in his family, getting away from you know, he just comes into a place that's unfamiliar. You gotta kind of buckle down when that happens. Yeah, yeah, So it's a good it's a good decision and again a great opportunity. And he hit up banger. I think it was against Dallas or St. Louis, Saint Louis, and it would be great And

I love that he's gotten a confidence to do that. We could use that tonight absolutely can. Here on the road at Judas Park, We're just about thirty minutes away from kickoff here at Judas Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Tonight's Countdown and Kickoff is presented by Emerald Queen Casino, the entertainment capital of the Northwest. While we have a few minutes, let's and Brad, you mentioned the evolved brand. Let's talk about that. You know, if in case

you didn't see it. How do you can turn to all the Sounders FC website and social media accounts and everything, because we have an updated crest, updated logos, and evolved brand, a modernized space needle, a new color palette, a shape of the crest, new tertiary crest that include the return of Sammy the Orca. You also have a car Nation of course, that goes back to all the way from the start of Sounders as an organization. Last home game of the season, players hand white car name was a big

bail that was the relationship between the players and the fans. So one of the car Nation is now one of the logos. And then of course seventy four as the Sounders were of course born in seventy four and Brad you were basically hosting. You're up on stage at the MoPOP event there on Tuesday night, wonderful events, and you're on it right now, even with the seventy four on the hat and then the crest on the shirt. What do you think? Yeah, look, I think that's what we're calling it as a

brand evolution. I think it really is that when you talk about building culture and history, you have to take moments from your past, and we did that when we came into two thousand nine, right. We brought Schmetz, We had USL players, Tommy Douta, all the guys that had been a big success in the USL days that came into now the MLS days, right, And now we're paying homage back to nineteen seventy four, and we're bringing it to the forefront, which is really cool. But we're also talking about

a fifty year anniversary, so I think it's appropriate. We got some old school colors on the badge. Now we've got all the tertiary marks that we're gonna use, and so that builds culture. Some of our fans don't know about the carnation, right, those that stay for the entire season, that are at the we've been doing it since two thousand and nine and obviously since

nineteen seventy four. But bringing all that to the forefront only builds culture and lets everyone know that they've been a part of this since nineteen seventy four, not just you know, the fiftieth year anniversary or you became a fan in two thousand nine. That's great, but we also have now we are honoring those that played before us. The fans that showed up, the coaches, the staff, everyone that was a part of the Sounders from that amazing year

in nineteen seventy four. Yeah, it was around my We were season ticket holders from the first year and the Carnations coming out was a big deal. There was kind of a push to get to the front rows at Memorial Stadium and those guys were so beloved, mostly English guys, a few Scottish guys. But I'm with you the brand. It's fifty years, right, and I still I've got a replica Peppy Fernande's jersey from the seventy four at the Beautiful. He is a phenomenal human being. He walks into a room even

now and people say, who is that guy? He just lights up a room. I sed to appearances with him at elementary schools and I don't know how old he was, but he took over the place. So yeah, I like the new logos and I thought that the Carnation adding that was really wise. I mean it was really paying attention as it's head to the history of the club and some great new gear that's coming along, and you look very nice in it, Brady. Yeah, thanks, Maybe at the pro

Shop I can go and get mine. Just absolutely beautiful. So yeah, I mean I had Sounders Pro Shop has a bunch of great stuff available right now. I spent a couple hundred bucks. Why I'm not very happy with the credit card bill, but so be it must get all of the new logos and everything like that. It's really just sensational work by everybody with the club. Amazing job by Taylor Graham, Adrian Hannaur and everybody to put that

together. But listen, those are just our words. Why don't we hear from an actual Sounder player in Seattle native Paul roth Rock you you know, grew up going to Sounder games now here he is on the first team, and Paul talked about what he thinks of the new logo with Michelle Welcome. All right, I guess, well, well, how you're related to the club, what it feels like to really see the journey to kind of to your point of seeing the story firsthand and seeing the journey of where it's come

and knowing that there's just so much more for this club. Yeah, and for me, And you know, I'm I'm new to it a little bit, but you know, I remember going to the games on the light rail with my dad and I especially remember getting off at the International District exit and then making that walk and just feeling the excitement that you get walking into Century Link and now it's looming, but that to be on the other side of

that now is really really special and really cool. That's Paul Rothrock is Sounders FC attacking midfielder. I think we can call him a forward at times for Tocoma defiance as well leads to Koma defiance and assists, and he is also a member of the Sounders first team. Outstanding new brand evolution for the Sounders this last week. Make sure to check that out in case you haven't. We'll take a break here on the prematch show and we'll come back and give

you some in sight here into the team the Sounders are facing tonight. We're here in Geonas Park in Nashville, Tennessee for Saunders in Nashville. We'll continue the providence weis pretty much show next on Sports Radio nine fifty KJR AM.

Welcome back to the Providence Sweetens Fremat Show. We are live from Judas Park in Nashville, Tennessee, where it is a very nice, warm and toasty evening here in Nashville, but eighty seven degrees today downtown, walking about the town, and now here stadium just

about twenty minutes outside of downtown. Seats that are blue, yellow, and white alternating colors in a random assortment. Supporters section to our left, aluminum seats, a support a section that spans about eight sections that looks like if you're imagining Lumen Field, but it's at the other end of the stadium here as we're looking at it from our broadcast perch. A nice thirty thousand seat arena here Judas Park in Nashville, Tennessee, and absolutely beautiful soccer specific stadium

and complex here in Nashville. Well, let's take a look here and begin our sharp vision. Opponent alex on Nashville the team itself, they're twelve, eight and nine. Entered the weekend seventh place in the Eastern Conference. They moved to the East. They were in the West last year, but with the introduction of Saint Louis to the league, Nashville Wind East Nationals at forty four points, they have it kind of like Seattle. They're one point below

Seattle. They have thirty six goals scored, also one below Seattle. They're twenty eight goals. Conceded that they had as least in the league. So, Brad, what do you see from this national team? Yeah, look, it's a strong team. It's it's a really good team. They've been consistent over the past couple of years, and now that they have this stadium, it feels like it's brought new life. Right, people, what are they at home? Eight and two? This year? At home they are

eight, which is show and two? Yeah, right, which is that's what you want out of your out of your home team, right to be here and make this place your home. So it's it's a really difficult team. And I think that they just have a lot of experience. They did a good job of capturing some international talent, but also making sure that they know they have guys that no Major League soccer through and through and they've had some all stars on their team for a number of years. And then you

look at their bench too. I mean their bench is good. If we're gonna get into the Sounders bench tonight losing numbers, I mean they can bring off fafapy called Teal Bumbarry, Alex Mule, all MLS veterans who are proven goal scores. And then you run down the list of Sean Davis also, who did so good in New York. And so I just think it's a strong side that's gonna be playing off the crowd tonight at home. A lot

of danger for the Sounders tonight. And I think Stephen Fry is gonna have to gonna have to have a blinder tonight to keep Nashville off the board. Yeah, Gary Smith's gonna come after Seattle. Brian's talking about it today and he feels like they're gonna be on the front foot. They're going to put pressure on Seattle. They are good in the transition, they're good on restarts. And Brad's right. You know, Dax McCarty, I love his grit.

He's kind of azzy alonzo ish. Would you give him that? Yeah, not as good but okay, yeah, but he's got that grit, He's got that fire. And Goodoy is a season player. And you know Jille Bunburry is kind of our version Freddie Montero. We can come off and do some damage. And Piccola has five goals. Both of those guys on the bench. So at Joe Willison goal is a veteran goalkeeper. You know, we came in and we all obed in together, and Hunter was our

driver and his enthusiasm once we said what we were here for. His enthusiasm and this city's enthusiasm for this club and the expectation. This is a very cool stadium we're at right now, and the city's gotten behind it. And one of the other things the Hunter told us was you take Hanny Mutar out of the game. We kind of we kind of sometimes, Oh that's I

think wind over the air. Uh, you know. One of the things, hey, Michelle, one of the things that Hunter told us, they're you know, on the drive was about, you know, Hanny Mutar, and Hanny Mutar has fifteen goals and ten assists, and if you take away Hanny Muttar, then Hunter was saying, we kind of, you know, don't have much else. And that's why you see a lot of you know, one one zero zero draws from Nashville this season because a lot of teams

can scheme him away. But Brad, this is a guy in Muktar who's an MVP and is right there again this year who Sounders certainly have to figure out ways to take him out of the game. Yeah, I mean, he's one of the top players in Major League soccer, and he's just so dynamic and the way that he moves, he doesn't play as a prototypical number ten. He'll go and wander wherever he wants, kind of like fabulous spindola from rail Salt Lake, where you turn your head and you just don't know

where he is all the time. And what it does, it just provides overloads in certain situations. They like to create a lot of two v ones and he'll find himself in behind when you don't think that he should be there. And he's just really dynamic and it will provide a lot of challenges for our back four. And you have to ask a question, and we ask Brian today, Okay, well, whose job is it to be on Honey? Is it just gonna be JP's that's gonna focus on him because Ozzy Alonzo

did that in the past. He'll take a number ten out of the game of any caliber player. But Schmidtz said, no, we want to keep our shape, we want to keep our formation. We're not gonna try. Yes, we know that he's a dangerous player, but we're not just gonna focus all of our energy on Honey Muktar. We're a better team than that. We have to determine this game and play as if you know, we want to win this game. And so yeah, he's going to provide the

biggest challenge tonight. I like that from Schmetz, and that's what he's saying. We're a good team. We don't need to just sacrifice one guy to take care of Muktar. We have enough organization, enough ability. But he called him the head of the snake. So you got let's get rid of the head of the snake. Yeah, absolutely so well. Tonight's opponent outlook was presented by Sharp Vision, Modern Lasic and Lens, the official lasic provider

of Sounders FC. We'll take a break, we'll come back and give you our Sounders FC players to watch. We'll also get to the history between the Sounders and Nashville, what happened last year when these teams is squared off, and then of course we'll get to keep the match. Danny Jackson, Steve Zachwanti, Michelle Ludcut who's down on the sideline. They will be having the

call here in just about fifteen minutes. More to come here on the Providence, Swedish prematch show Sports Radio nine fifty KJR AM it's Mike home win from my friends at Toyota of Kirkland. With the current shortage of new vehicle inventory,

Welcome back to the province Swedish prematch shows sounders in Nashville, Tennessee. Tonight, we are here live from Geodas Park or It is a nice warm evening. If the sun has gone down and pitch black sky is cooled off, the temperature is quite a bit fan and that's I would say the Steve is probably about forty fifty

percent full at the moment. I would like to see it fill in a little bit more here over the next ten minutes before kickoff, but supporters to our left already making some noise or Danny Jackson, Steve Zachawanni Michelle will have the kick here in just about ten minutes. If you're just joining us and you've been watching the starting eleven, there is an update in case you looked at it and saw that Roludias was starting, he is no longer after experiencing

back pain prior to today's match. He has been replaced in the starting eleven with a bear. I can tell you that this was something that occurred in training yesterday. There was some hope he would be available for the match, but unfortunately that pain didn't improve enough for him to play, so a bear is in. Also read Baker Widen getting the start at left back. New

yellow card accumulations suspension. You have Albert Rusnach out with an illness, so Nicholas Ladero's at the ten and Jordan Morritz remained in Seattle due to the birth of his child, so it is he is not available either and that as your front as role or a bear at the top with Leo on the left and Christian Roldan on the right. There with Niko in the middle. Let's move on here and get to our sounders that see players to watch. Brad,

who are you looking for from Seattle tonight? So I think it's gotta be Nico Ladero tonight. I mean, he is a leader of this team. He's proven to be, you know, a fantastic captain and steward for this club. He enters back into the starting lineup and I know that his form hasn't been what he wants it to be and so but tonight's a chance away from home to control tempo, make a couple of key passes. But most importantly, I think, like Pete said, it's just play your position

well. Don't worry about trying to do too much on the field. You don't need to be a striker, you don't need to be a left wing or a right wing or just play your number ten position as best as you can because at the end of the day, that will open up more space for Leo Chi let him do his job. It'll open more space for Christian rolled On. Let him do his job. And I think if he gets that mindset, he should have a good game tonight. It's gonna be a

battle. But if he has a good game tonight, the Sounders have a very good chance of getting a result here. And I think a result is fair. If it's a tie, I think we'll be happy with that. But if you can eke out a win, it's gonna be because Nico has a really good game tonight. As much as I'd like to go a bear, I want to go Christian rolled on. We go with that guy. When he's going, the team's going. And then we've got four games left, two at home, two on the road. We need him to get

his match fitness him. And to your point, if Christian Roldon is doing good things down the right hand side with Alex, then you've got a bear opening things up as well. So I'd love to excuse me, Chew opening things up on the left hand side. So I'd love to see Christian have a great game tonight, But I am curious to see what a bear is gonna do for the team. I'm going to josh A Tencio. He had

a great performance in Colorado. The work he does in that holding midfield against Handy Mutar today, shutting down Muktar is going to be the goal number one and that will be a big job for him in JP and I. But I'm looking for the young Josh attempt here to have a nice day. We'll take one more break here in the prematch show. We'll come back with the Keys of the Match live from Yodas Park, Saunders, Nashville. Coming soon on Sports Radio nine fifty KJR AM. It's Mike con run from my friends

Let's wrap up the prematch shows. Some keys of the match. Brad, what are you looking for? Yeah, good shape, good defensive shape from the Sounders away from home. If at any point we have to play five in the back, I think that's a good thing. Actually, that means we've done our job for the first sixty seventy minutes of this game. So it'll play out how this game plays out. But it's up to the sounders to dictate that pace. So dictate pace, but also make sure that we

are solid defensively tonight. Yeah, no question and it we just saw some highlights of Hanni Muktar. He is dangerous. You cannot give him any room outside the edge of the box all the way inside the inside the eighteen. He is a very, very dynamic player. He can't be left alone anywhere. And to Brad's point, he has the ability to float, so they've

got to keep a eye on him. On the offensive side. I want to see the wings question rolled on on the right and his brother behind him, and then Chew on the left, and then get abear in the box. When he got his two goals at the beginning of the year, it was inside the six yard bucks, let's get him service in there. Three sharts are very important. Blockers of him and over me always makes me a

little bit nervous. So they're gonna be sharp and every aspect of the game, well, it's the porter section to our left has lit off more smoke. There's smoke in the air. I hope Danny and Steve are gonna be able to look through this and call the game heavily heavy smoke coverage here. As the players are walking out Nashville and yellow tops, yellow shorts, yellow socks, in their full yellow outfit. Sounders are in their Bruce Lee hits. That's the red top and the black shorts. You're Seattle Sounders FC face Nashville SC to Nights nash is presented by Extra Mile, a convenience store with extra pre yourself right at Extra Miles. Sounders FC Soccer is brought you by Providence, Swedish official healthcare partner of Seattle Sounders FC. Now time for Sounders FC soccer. Good evening everyone, and welcome to a rocking Jeodas Puck in the capital of Country music as your third place Sounders take on Nashville SC

of the Eastern Conference. Nashville are searching for some end of season form and results that will secure their fourth consecutive playoff appearance since their inaugural season back in twenty twenty. After losing to Miami and Pek's in the League's Cup Final. Home results have been mixed, but with the defense that leads MLS with only twenty eight goals conceded and with raining twenty twenty two league MVP Hanei Mukta firing

on all cylinders, Nashville are primed to discover their League's Cup form. For the Sounders, unbeaten in five games, they have now found consistency in this most vital time in the season. With four games remaining and two games coming up next week at home. This is another opportunity to anchor our position at

the top end of the Western Conference. As our fans, our club, and our community continue to revel in the launch of the Sounders brand evolution this week, Brian Schmitz and his players are ready to do what Sounders do best, compete on the field and win. I'm joined today by Steve Zaquani, former which Sounders wing It and a big part of the brand launch this past week. But before you get to Steve PRIs initial thoughts, Let's get you

the delting starting eleven for your Sounders. Few changes for Brian Schmitzer in the eleven, Stephen frying Gold about four of rolled down Yeamar Reagan and then Read Baker Whiting coming in on the left hand side for a suspended new whom Shao Paolo alongside Joshua Tensio retains his position in the middle of the park, Christian rolled down on the right hand side, Nicoladero and the ten Leo Chio on

the left, and then it Bare up front as your number nine. Gary Smith for Nashville puts out of four two, three one, Joe Willis and Gold about four of more. Zimmerman, Maha and Lovetts Goodoy alongside McCarty in the middle of the field, Lyall back on the right hand side, Muktar and the ten Shaffelberg on the left, and Sam Storage as the number nine. So Steve fireworks to get us going, light show, to get us going. We expect some excitement in this game. We do, and there's

a lot of stake for both teams self. Thinking if you're looking at the Sounders, you win and you're as short of the playoffs. Look, yes, you have four more games, more chances to do it, but when the game gives you a chance like tonight, you've got to take it. Leave no doubts and for the Sounders, a few guys lets of ebear, maybe your point approve as well. So it shouldn't be a high energy,

exciting game and one that the Sounders absolutely should be trying to win. Or goes back to Maho and the back forth and Nashville launches it long headed up in the air by JP Kadi pulls it down former San Jose player of course, quickly down to shack More on the right hand side. We'll expect to see more and love It's get heavily involved on the outsides as Nashville now start to build up your couple of players. Of course, not in the lineup

tonight, Albert Rusnak suffering from some illness. He has stayed at home. Jordan Morris celebrating the birth of his first child this week, so congratulations to Jordan Morris, congratulations that doctor Morris and the whole Morris family for the birth of their child. And then of course Rowery Diazings mentioned during pregame he had some back spasms coming out of practice last last night. He falls out of

the lineup. Ibat comes in for his first start since July twelfth. A sound has build it up in the middle of the part with JP on that left hand side, and of course read Baker Whiting played and that left back role against Dallas, got an assist for the goal. Was on the bench for the Team of the match day. He's back on that left hand side as Leo Chow rolls it back to Baker Whiting to the feet of Ladero back in that number ten and said bad good little one two to Ladera down the

left hand side to Leo two inside the box. Good covering by Shaq Moore. It looked like it came off the left toe of More but it goes out for a gold Nashville. And with that for the first time, we're gonna throw down to Michelle. Good evening, Michelle, Annie. What a beautiful night for a soccer match. While it is a little still hazy down here thanks to all the fireworks that we saw with the pre match festivities now here at Geotis Park, which is the largest soccer specific stadium in the United

States and Canada, holding just over thirty thousand a capacity. The coolest thing about this is how intimate it is with the fans. I mean, as you guys alluded to her, I should say Jackson did in the pre match show. It's still filling in. It's probably about two thirds full, but the first row of fans are just one hundred and fifty feet away from the action. They're so close. And of course we've got a nice grass pitch here that the team's playing on. Should make for a good match. Thanks

Michelle. Yeah, big big weekend in Nashville. Under Boat playing Gay's Missouri today. The ball comes in cleared by Yama up into the air, flicked backwards by McCarthy, the stalwart in the middle of the field, and Steve's there. Both teams get settled in the ball ricochets off the heel of Ladera rolls over the end line for a first corner kick for Nashville. How do you expect Sounders going to approach this game based on the fact they're missing a

couple of their key players. Yea, and I think you know, the width becomes very important. Nashville is a very good team down the spine. They defend a cent with errors very well and one of the Sounders earlier attacks was Leo Chew manages to get in behind, So you expect to see a lot of Leo Chew trying to provide that on the left hand side and on the right. It won't be quish the road down. He's gonna tucking side a lot. It will depend a lot on how much and how aggressive.

Alex Rodon isn't getting forward but getting into the white arras when the sounder is his key. And then of course once they do that, glad the heir bear get into the box. Daniel Love it with the corner kick on their right hand side. We whipped him with his left foot in between corner kick and it comes towards the front post. Off he flicked on, comes back to Love It takes her touch, closed down by your bear, comes back in towards the back post, this time pushing header by Mukta to Shaffelberg.

Back in the lineup today on that left hand side, and Mukta wriggles free of looked arrow and clips it in with his right foot, clid eventually by the sounders and rolled on said bear back to JP Sounders in transition. Be Baker Whiting available on this right hand side. Good break by the young man.

He finds it to his feet, drives inside the box, closed down quickly by Shappelberg, cut inside onto his left foot alongside the aging yard box not bored by Ladera doesn't find the run of rolled on, but it's Alex rolled on top of the box, able to find Ladera hips all across the fast side the left to Chew, closed down by Lovetts Chew inside the box the one two around Lovetts. Another goal kick for Nashville remains Neil Neil Steve's

Equani, but again another promise an attack for the Sounder is there. On this occasion it's read Baker. Whiting on a complete opposite side of the picture where we think we'll see him tonight, makes a great run forward. In the end it was lader We couldn't quite find the final pass, but both sides starting the game world back and forth. There's no caging us here.

More teams went for it. Early high pressed by the Sounder, is a bear inside the box, closing down the Nashville back forward eventually finds shack More. The US men's national team player cuts the ball inside to the awl, who whips the ball from right hand side to the left hand side cushion headed by Shaffelberg, who collects the ball. Run from the Sounders bench to good doy, good partnership alongside McCarty. Lots of experience in those two players,

Panamanian international, US men's national team international. It's gonna be a fail by your bear. Just push McCarty to the ground. As the Sounders now line up behind the halfway line and leave men behind, the ball finds the feet of Muktar. Brian Schmidt said, hey, we just have to prevent him getting the ball to feet, but he has it at feet, whips the ball to the fast side the right to Shack Moore one on one with Red Baker White and comes on his left foot, flicks up Sam stowg inside the

box and it's a quick shot just wide. It's just the referees flag is off up there for off side, but it dragged it. Why it's gonna be a free kick for Sounders. But good chance by Nashville early on. And right there you see the danger of Haney Mukta. It's not so that he he's gonna be the one to be on the end of things or make the final pass. At times he makes the pass before the final passing. He did that on that occasion and the question is when he drops the is

it a sound of sunder backs that follow him. Do you pass him onto a John Parlo and a tens are in there, but mut is gonna find those spaces in between the lands for the Sounders, and when he gets there, Nashville are very very dangerous. The Flag beat them on that occasion, but that's a warning sign for the Sounding couple of tweaks. Here on the three kick inside the box by Fry, it's gonna be launched towards at Tensio who slid across this right hand side, putting a big body up on that

right and side to win the head. But it's Nashville come away with it with Muktach has to flick it around the corner. Good defending by Yamar now stroll Darn's able to build it square ball to JP at Tensi are still in an advanced position. JP ask him for a little help. The Sounders now build across their back four. Tonight's match is presented by Extra Mile, a convenience store with extra treat yourself right at Extra Mile. So we're here in

the seventh minute. Nashville, Tennessee. As you mentioned, the town was rocking. Titans play at home tomorrow Nashville sc tonight against the Sounders. Vanderbilt playing in an SEC game against Missouri. A Thomas Rhett concert that a very own Michelle Ludker attended last night with a sister. As the ball goes down the line as sisterant, referee calls it out and it curled over there near touch line. It's going to be a throne for Daniel Lobets for Nashville.

And this left hand side games starting to settle in Steve, there's a little bit of energy at the beginning, but Sounders just organized themselves a couple of tweaks tactically moving the tensio to the right hand side on gold kicks free kicks. Looks like the Sounders are going to try and advance that ball quickly up the field. Yeah, And Nashville is one of the few home teams in MLS who are actually sometimes more comfortable not having the bulk of possession. They

don't mind being in the forties. Sometimes Ate and other teams get up to sixty percent because they're very good on set pieces and can be very danger in transition when led by Handy Mukta sol Don't be surprisedly the sound is here one of the best teams in MLS at keeping the board, really dominant, possessional, try to and Nashville as a home team, be comfortable not having a board and trying to get out in transition. For Nashville, of course,

in the Western Conference up until last year. This year they shifted to the Eastern Conference. Sounders playing two games against Nashville. As Mukta riggles three of Reed Baker Whitey goes over the end line, referee points to the corner flectent like a tangle of legs. For a split second they see the replay. Handy mucked around the corner good touched by Reed Baker white and got in behind. He got his right toe on it. It's going to be a second

corner kick for Nashville on their right hand side. And again, as Hanny Muktar involved, I have a feeling will be saying his name a lot here tonight because he is that good. Over the past couple of years, there's been very few, maybe no one in MLST that's been as dense as he has, an as influential and integral to his team as any player really and so far, ready tonight we get found the board and create a lot of chance to voice team love it to his left foot in swinging corner kick.

Schappelberg, top of the box with leal Or comes in towards that near post, flicks around and over the top by Yamars. It rolls out slowly to this near sight save by Schappelberg, who's able to clip it in easily collected by Stefer and Fry. But it's just a referee on the far side puts her flag up. It's gonna be a goal kick for the Sounders as it curled out of play before Stepher and Fry collected it from the air with a higher press. Now from Nashville, as Sam Surridge came in from Knotts Forests

in the off season. Listen to so the podcast from Jeremiah Shant this week mentioned that Sam storage was a surprising addition twenty five years old. Good success in Lots Forest. As Shappelberg has it on the left hand side, Yema comes across, flicks off Yea Mar's chess over the end line for a third corner kick for Nashville on this near side the left. Yeah, just some worrying concerns for the Sounders, seemed to be second to a lot of the

loose boars at this moment. Monks running a little bit too free right now in Nashville, beginning to pat on the pressure. The corner kicks are beginning to add up, and as you're waiting, you go into games expecting at times to really suffer and take the pressure. But a lot early on here we just inside the first ten minutes, a Nashville up to their third corner kick. Already three Nashville players inside the six yard box. Five Sounders players

defending that six yard box. Ten shows selling in front. It's muktar and this near side it's gonna be with this right foot in swinging corner kick. Arm goes up and steps up, whips in towards that front post, easily cleared by Yama. See in every corner so far, go to that near post. It's time it's cleared by the sound It's gonna be thrown on this near side the left for Nashville. With Daniel lovetts twenty two yards from the corner flag to line up a long throw. Mayhor is in support when he

asked, your behind, it looks like Zimmerman is up there. Ball comes in and goes towards Zimmerman flicks up in the air and out by the Sounders a bed because I hold it up, shrugged off the ball by Mayha and it's Nashville is going to come away with it. Check Moore sent a circle, holds it out for the far sight the right to Leale back in the lineup, Karry Smith said in his presser this week, both Leale and Surridge just try to prime for the playoffs. Both the Sounders and Nashville one win

away from securing their playoff spot. Either team can accomplish that goal tonight, and of course we're all hoping it's the Sounders clinched that playoff spot last year. Of course, missing out for the first time in club history. Let's find a way to get a win, as Willis as the ball plays the horns to good Doi, good calm build up by nash Film August rolled to this near side to love it back to Mayheth. Both Willis and stephriend Fry

share the top spot and second spot and clean sheets and mls. As the ball comes across the top of the teen yard books, Simone hooks it away, eventually finds the feet of love It and Nashville comes to switch to the play of a good read by Read Baker Whites and little touch into Leo two pinched inside on his left hand side in study tacking third for the Sounders.

Well goes down the line, tries to find read Baker Whiting off of there those over the inline for a gold kap remains nil nil and with that we're gonna throw it down to Michelle. Yes, thanks, Danny. You were mentioning that this is a big match for both of these sides tonight with playoff contention on the line, and I actually ask Branch Schmutzer about that. If you know, if the Sounders win out right tonight, then they will automatically

qualify for the postseason. Nashville, of course, with a win, will also qualify for the postseason. And I asked if Bran Schmutzer if debt had gone into the messaging at as the team prepared for tonight's match, and he said no. He said, in fact, the last messaging he had towards the team, sorry, given it a breath there, Danny, see if we were going to go on a breakaway. But he said the messaging was really that this was gonna be a tough, hard fought battle, but any

team can win if they get up one nill. And then he proceeded to show the team the last five road games that they scored, so they know it's going to be a battle, but they're in it for tonight. And I can just say already, the way the atmosphere has increased over the last five minutes, it feels like playoff atmosphere down here thanks to Michelle Is. The ball got whipped in by Shatt Moore on that fast side the right clied

by the Sounders. But it's gonna be a fourth corner kick for Nashville again on that fast side there right, this time from three in swinging corner kicks. It's gonna be Honey Mukta with his right foot. Who's gonna play that outswinging corner kicks? Nashville pile the box, six players inside the eighteen yard box, all the big men up, including Walkers, Zimmerman, Maha surage.

Ball comes in inside the sex, cleared well by Yamar, knocks it back to Muktar, clicks in his feet, challenged by JP, clips off the heel of JP, lofts up in the air, challenged by Walker Zimmerman on step and Fry, it's gonna be a goal kick. I think the Sounders players are surrounding the referee Steeve asking for a free kick. The ball's gonna be on the deck. I think very often you see goalkeepers protected and that's what the Sounders are asking for there. I have no issue with that

Walkers. Immerman went up fairly, went for the challenge Stephen Fry. It seemed to I'm not issue of it. It was more of his teammates. But you can understand that you always want to make sure the goalkeepers very vulnerable up in the air, so can they be protected. But on that occasion much of you about nothing. Referee going between very quickly in the game resumes Sounders build out. He was Jackson Reagan who started the ball of the gold

kick the Sounders building. Josh Attencio fans Alex rold On nice played down the line. Little cut back by Roldan to if there to Alex Roldan. Good patient build up by the sound It outside the foot, but given away sloppily by Alex rol darn. Jack Moore on the right hand side picks it up. Good challenge by Read Baker Whiting went down the deck time the tackle perfectly goes out for a Nashville throde on the far side. The good play again

by the young man. It was a good recovery. I mean Sounders played excellently out of the back until Alex roldance Eric pass was caught out. Gave Nashville chance agut on the attack. But and Shaq Moore's not slow, very very quickly across the ground, so a great sign that read big Whiteing went stride for stride with the less international making a great defensive tackle miss controlled by Leo Chew on the far side. The Sounders left goes out and under his

foot for a thrown. As Nashville now built from the back, Lovets tucked him from his left back spot as Nashville and the building out with three Lovetts just playing the ball to Mahows in the middle. Walkers zimmer on the fart side the right with shat Moore playing the advanced right back position very much like Alex rol darn August launched by Willis to mention nine clean sheets on the ear for Willis, eleven clean sheets on the ear for Stephan Fry, with Leo

Chew inside the box left hand side. Let's ball across and this with an ad whisker of Christian roll Dan. He was flashing in between center back and left back and was within half a yard of getting his toe on the end of it. Rolls out for a throne as your goal kick for Nashville remains Neil Neil Well. With Leo Chu on a pitch, you're always gonna get chances to get him behind. And we spoke about the Sounders needing to highlight that wide area. There's one on one situations. Leo Chi has been a

great job there. Christian Rodan wasn't far away from that makes a great run inside. In the end, the cross from Leo Cho just about a foot too far in front. But I promised an attack from the Sounders and they're gonna need the or Chow to actively very involved in those kind of situations. Hiding Mouktar one touchdown the line to lei'l on the right hand side. Plays the ball in low and short cut out well by Reed Baker White who read the danger world. JP collects it, rolls the ball to Ladero, lets

it go. Leo Chu did not recognize it rolls over the far touch line for a Nashville throw. But see if it looks like Sounders playing a high press. Nashville content with playing out of the back, and Jack Moore is playing a really advanced position. He's their outlet on that right hand side. Yeah. Absolutely. And we spoke about Nashville being a team that's comfortable not having possession, but that's not to say they can't keep the ball, and

so far tonight they are in charge of possession. Here. We asked branch mets to Eli and it's game who to watch out for, you know, much as the obvious one. But he made a point to highlight Gooddot and McCarthy. Then in the midfield and right now it's got to be said they're dominating the midfield battle against Y'll Parler in a tennis shill and you've got a

drel well Sounders have it in the attacking half of the field. Jp just right channel to roll down and rolls it out to his brother Alex eighteen yards

from the end line comes back to Yaymar. Sounders patient in possession as Nashville have eleven men deep in their half of the field behind the ball, deep line of confrontation, contend to let the Sounders have it in these areas of the field as Christian roll Down has it on the right hand side, challenged by I love it to come short to Josh Attensio and again the Sounder just gonna rotate the ball from this near side right to the center with Jackson Reagan

to Yama. If you mentioned forty seven percent possession on the year, is Nashville content not to have the ball, but they'll break quickly on the counter A Ladero has it, rolls it out the fast side the left Leo Chula one d one with Shock Moore no support, goes square to Attensio one touch all the way to Ladero's left hand side challenge well by Lear coming back to do his defensive duties. It's gonna go out for a first Sounders corner kick.

But that's much much better for the Seattle Sounders, who've not seen too many instances of the Sounder's prologant possession having extended passes in the final third. We did sit on that occasion, Nikoladero attempting to get it across and it was blocked. But the Sounds now have their first set pizza chance to get the big man up from the back and try to take the lead here just aside twenty minutes play Ladero on the Sounders left out swinging corner kick with his

left foot. Four Sounders players sitting on the PK spart Reagan a bear Atensio Yamar. It's Leo Chew inside the six. The ball comes in high and long and easily collected by Joe Willis. But of a waste from the Sounders. They had the big men up the first corner kick is they collective by the Nashville goalkeeper. And see if away from home, those set pieces of

quality has to be there, has to be there. You don't know how many opportunities you're gonna get in that kind of situation, especial you're on the road. Set pieces may come out of premium at times. If nikoladerode, you've got to give you Amar and Reagan, the guys coming up from the back, it's a chance to attack the ball that's sat in the air too long. There And for the Sounders, listen, every free kick, every corner kick has to really sniff the opportunity. There's a chance to go ahead,

chance to get a goal. And for tonight it's not just any goal the playoffs are at stake. It's what you go into the season at the bare minimum and to the team and a club that missed that last year. So the hunger to get back is there. We've in touch a distance and tonight you've got I get over the line. Overlapping run by Read Baker, Whitey fast Sight the left gets involved from his left back spoties he did against

Dallas so well. He receives it ten yards from the end line. This Summer's right foot comes to JP left corner of the box, rolls it back square to Read Baker, Whiting, Ladera and support. Three Sounders players within ten fifteen yards of each other trying to find some space to put the ball in. It does. Ladera knocks it off the shins of Jack Moore's could be a second Sounders corner kicking with it within two minutes. Yeah, and

it's a good little spell for the seat of Sounders here. And it's nothing special. They're just getting lumbers into the attack but actually prolonging possession. And we mentioned that at some point Nashville Wall retreat to who they are a team that that's to sit in two blocks of four forces to go around them. The Sounders recognizing that and have been the better team in the last five minutes as it tried to shift the momentum away from the good start in Nashville.

Maide Chapela plays it short to Ladara, whips it in better, this time cleared up in the air by Maher top of the box, knocked back in by attention or challenged by Yamar. Nothing given by the referee as a nash Field player goes to ground. Eventually does call it free kick from Nashville as Sounders retreat, but Nashville quicken the transition, get the ball down with Shafferberg and this near site plays aboard to the feet of surage. It gets away

from pressure. Middle of the field has no It's able to play square to McCarty, but closed down by Leo Chu. The Nashville habit with the good doi time and space left channel challenged by Atensio. Sounds patient in their press get eleven men behind the ball. Low block of confrontation here as the team in all yellow, Nashville shooting to the gold to our left have it in possession. Sounder is able to pick it off, given away by Christian Roll.

Darn nobody coming to the ball. Frustration by roll Dan, but in Muktar top of the box twenty yards out goes towards the box. Good tackled by Reed Baker Whiting again another good challenge by the young man. Double challenged by Reed Baker Whiting stood up Muktar, stood up Shack Moore and the sound and has come away with it. I mean, that's unbelieve. It would offend hi. My read Baker White in there, because Montza got exactly what

he wanted. Receiving aboard outside the eighteen yard box went towards gold dropped a couple of sound as players read Baker White improved to be one two fine, it wasn't enough of a young man went right after Shack Moore and the ricochet there, but the sounds having to defend a little bit has Nashville now trying

to swing the momentum back their way. Nashville Habit thirty yards from the golden left, Chalders near side sounders in there, Bruce Lee away kit, red shirt, black shorts, black socks, tech and the gold to our rights. Nashville Habit roll it out to Jack Moore's high advanced position on that right hand side, but given away to Leo Chew. And now here comes Leo Chew in transition down the left hand side, crossed the halfway line, still

drives forward, tries to flick it down the line. Cheap giveaway by Leo Chew. Did all the hard work covering about eighty yards of ground and then tries to play the ball down the line, giving away cheaply. And here come Nashville again with Zimmer and tries to switch the point of a tech and

it's Jama who collects it. Us we're hearing Nashville Tennessee Home of Nashville SC twenty third, minute nine fifty KJR A M and Geodas Park, Nashville nails Sounders nil and the game just hanging in the balance right here at the moment. I think both teams having decent spells, but also some poor moments on poor giveaways, which is given the other team a chance to get out into the attack, just waiting for a big chance, a moment of magic.

Maybe it's one of those games where so much on the line, a little stalemate as we see another little giveaway by Leo Chewing. Both teams guilty of that in the final third where the final plus isn't quite clean enough, it's not accurate enough, just missing that last little bit of quality for what otherwise been a decent game from both teams, both teams trying to go for it.

It's not KG at all, but maybe just lacking that little bit of quality in the final foot what Sounders FC socket is presented by Provident, Swedish official healthcare partner of Sounders FC. As the Sounders high press almost win it the cart, he's able to clean it up, rolls across this Immerman just outside the box finds Le' the real pressure as Leo Chew backs off on the fast slide of the left all over the top to a marauding Hanny Muktar top

of the box, challenged by Yamar. One be one between the big Colombian and the German because it clips up the toe of Yamar and Hanny Muktar will let the ball trickle over the far end line to our left. There's gonna be another Nashville corner kick. And that was good by Yamar. We've talked so often about how MUCKs that would come deep checking the space. He's getting ball to feet, but he does have that in's luck or two on that

occasion making a run in behind. Was a great pass by Lear, but Yamar for the sound is there, says Stride for Stride, good defending, but at the expense of another corner for Nashville, and I again it's gonna be Hanni Muktar for Nashville on their fast side is right foot. Fifth corner kick for Nashville. Already for here in the twenty fifth minute, Patiently observing the players in the box, they find their mark. Arm goes up four steps away. Ball comes in top of the six yard up cleared well by

Jackson Reagan. Good powerful header. It's a good recover by Schappelberg to handing up to our inside the box. The won be one versus Jackson Reagan got saved by Stephan Fry pays it up in the air, eventually cleared by the sounders. But it's Nashville gonna come again, sounded just hanging on right now. First real save of note by Steph and Frey. Good header by Axweldner as a switcher. Play goes up, clashing with Shappelberg and gets up and

wins the ball. It's gonna be a throw in four Nashville right in front of a suited and booted Brian Schmitzer being as smart as ever. Steve here here's Nash Mester definitely came in dressed on the occasion and mors us that stake here And I think if you're relatively happy so far, I think you listen away from home this stage of the season. A lot on the line,

A good Nashvi your team. It's not gonna be easy, and the sound is yet they've rolled their luck a little bit of times with the amount of space they've given to Muktuk, who of course doesn't need much space to be dangerous, but it's enough there to show the sounds we'll have chance to get on the attack. But as we mentioned previously, it's a little bit of quality. Well, I've not seen enough of Abit or Nicoladero, those who've got to find more touches. And then Leo two obviously has been a little

bit dangerous on this right hand side. Need to get Alex roll done into the final food a little bit more as well, or certainly sounders look at to gather momentum as we head to the playoffs. Certainly Gary Smith, the Nashville coach, talked about the sounders experience year over year consistency in the lineup. The board goes down the line for Nashville headed clear by Alex Roll. Darn's gonna roll out and bounce away for a Nashville throwing twenty yards from this

end line on the left hand side. Daniel Lovitz is gonna step up. Last time he threw it long, this time it goes short to Hanny Muktar comes off the back four playing in a kind of a roving role. Stephen that number ten very much like Ladero did in his early years and still does now. Yeah. Branch Mester mentioned that a monster. He'll have the license to board everywhere. But he's a very smart player. He won't overdo it. He'll be tandler. He will just stands still in between the lines,

and at times that's when he can be most dangerous. But because of how much he moves, chat More whips it into the far post. Shaffer blog because our quitmas judge that goes over the top as such by Christian Roldan Shafferg's able to recover his left foot, whips it in towards the far post, headed clear and flicked away by Reid Baker Whiting kept alive to Sir tries to

curl the board goes wide a separate prize left post. Sam Sturrige all of seventeen yards kind to find that far corner goes out for a Sounder's gold kick remains nil nil. Yeah, we could see here exactly what he's trying to do. Their storage a little bit fortuitous. How the board came to him.

While you make your own luck and Nashville one two or three second chance is there it gets The sounder has been first on the boarding as it comes to Sorrige, just trying to open his body up and curl that into Stephen Fries four posts overdoes it on that occasion, and the sound has been very happy to see that board flower waded the post. But Nashville again taking the reins back and really really beginning to a play prist to the sound is here.

The Sounders have got to find a way to have extended possession. I'm ways could be for a very long night. Sounds give it away again middle of the field as Nashville come in possession with their back four rolls it out, says nearside the left to love it's their left back rolls it down the line to Shaffelberg to good Doy touches of confidence right now by Nashville, as Christian gold Don does to feel frustrated. The Sounders bending somewhat, certainly not

breaking. We talked about Josh Tenser getting that second start on alongside JP earned it. Big Man played well against Colorado. Robed Vargas on the bench, of course, another promising young player, sounds a little light on the today with the missing Russ Nack knew who Morris and of course rail ruy Diez falling short in practice yesterday and couldn't get himself right to start tonight. So the Sounders are gonna have to really steve get as much out of these eleven players

they can. With the bench being a little thin tonight. It's gonna be a heavy week with three games, yeah, and it's not ideal, especially for that final point. There is a free game weeker for the Sounders, the good Fingers. The next two will be at home, and you'll always expect to play your best at home, especially at this point in the season if you want to see how the sounds. But we have to do it

with thirteen fourteen players. You don't have the depths of falling on eighteen guys really rotating, and especially some guys like Nikola Day old job Parlow a little bit older in years. You want to make sure you can keep the must precious possible. Same with Christian Roll Done. You're just coming back, so branch messing this week can be less about tactics, more about just desire and willing yourself through to make it funis three games Well September fifteenth to October fifteenth.

nils Sounders nil and the scrupty is presented by Extra Mile. Sounders have it inside their half of the field with Jackson Reagan again Nashville just dropping off, happy and content to defend deep the opposition has its Jackson Reagan sprays the ball if it's nearside the right off the chest of Alex Roll Dan Good pressed now by Nashville's that ball goes in. They press two three guys, the step

and Fry gets the ball outside his box at his feet. Nashville slowly press further up the field, no real options to play out by the Sounders, so step and Fry goes along given away cushion headed by Zimmerman, but momentarily good guy flicks the ball. Is a follow through on Christian roll Dan yellow card, first yellow card of the game by good Doy not like a follow through more than anything. Steve. At first viewing for me here that seems

a little bit harsh. I think God has every right to go for the ball. He actually does flick the board initially, and that's an extreme you heart decision. I can see even the foul being questionable, and yes, exactly why the national head culture garusmiths up on his feet complaining fully did anything great and unfortunately gets the yellow card if that happens to a Sounders. But I think we'd be a little bit upset to receive a yellow card for that.

It was almost a secondary followed through that just the foul. Yes, but his momentum was going and yellow card seems a little harsh, but the Sounders will definitely take it. Sounders have it ball, the deck rolls the ball short, does JP to Yamar to Christian Roll down back to JP. Soundless against them, a pressure on the ball the game on this near side the right rolls it down to Alex Roll darn pay booing frustrated. I see

a replay of that yellow hard The sound has built it. Reagan center to the far side the left to Ladero, sound as patient in their possession, re vague wheting long searching ball to this near side the right, finds the feet well of Alex roll Dan, plays the ball short to JP. Top of the box finds Christian roll Dan right hand side, comes into his left foot, plays the ball to JP. Tries to find the ball to that far post. Was a half shot half past lot by Red Nashville, and

they come away with it. Sage gives it away. Sounders now have it on that giveaway the right hand side, this near side, low combination JP to Christian roll Dan right hand side, Well, it's ball on the six yard box to Alex Roll Dark go strike bit saved by Joe Willis. Came through a couple of bodies. Eventually saved by Joe Willis came off his chest cleared outworth throwing and with that we're gonna throw it down to Michelle Ludger. Thank you, Danny. It's been quite a quiet bench so far. Thirty

three minutes into this half. From Brian Schmitzer and his coaching staff, the main message coming from the team is slow down. He said that several times, and you could see it on just that possession right there. The Sounders did seem to take their time. They seem should pass the ball, connect a little bit more, try and play their own game, because, as Steve pointed out, this has been a very Nashville heavy possession, which is

not like Nashville. They're averaging right now over sixty two percent possession in this match from normally they're at forty seven percent. Well, a Darro got the ball top of the eighteen yard bucks just killed it. Why it's gonna be a goal kick for Nashville. I think you're right, Michelle, just about patients away from home and you've got the chance to put your fund the ball,

do it. And then when you got a chance to break with speed and play with speed around the top of the eighteen yardbocks, the Sounders just did. You gotta do it, and then you gotta execute on the chances you do have. As we get here in the thirty fourth minute, remains nail nail between Nashville and the Sounders, warm, humid, muggy night here in Tennessee. Sounders arrived on Thursday, took an early flight, a little bit of time to acclimate, both to weather conditions and the two hour time

difference. The ball goes long to shot more flicks it cleared by the Sounders, headed one by Zimmerman, back and forth by the Sounders and Nashville right now. Eventually it's Leale tries to find Annie Mouktar, tries to get in front of Yama. Yama reads it well, clears the ball, shot more headed down the line, comfortable, touched by Red Baker, White and Stevie is looking very confident tonight defended well and one by one situations ball at its

feet. Think it's more securing possessions. He's very comfortable on the board. That's the impressive part, I think, the defending part. He's also been a plaisant price because he's had to do it in very crucial and critical moments, especially against Annie Muktop. But at no moment has he lost an important jewel yet today. But on the flip side, when he has had the board. He's kept him very well, switching a board really well, connecting

his short passes. I think it's opening thirty five minutes. Say, for Read Baker, Wayne has been very very good. The shoes off new Hill

did. They're not easy to feel. New Who's a very very big player still in the conversation for the best left backing entirely so for Readberker White's to step in and for once there not miss new Who that says a look, there's two different players right, new Who plays a little deeper based on Brian's tweak of tactics this year, allowing Alex Waldan play high on the right, and then as we saw against Dallas, Read Baker, White and di Anny

more involved high up the field, not left hand siders as well. Dan has it tries to flick it to the far post. They're they're putting his hands up in a pause, and it finds the hands of Joe Willis. For this copyrighted audiocast of Major League Soccer may not be retransmitted, reproduced, or rebroadcast without the express written consent of Major League Soccer's Nashville habit in possession

remains nil nil and Steve Vot teams very similar records. Lashville twenty eight goals concede in the year, Sounders thirty one goals conceded on the year, similar goals scored. Nashville five games left, of course, because they had a good deep running Leagues Cup loss here against Miami and Messi and PK's certainly they're looking for that formula that projects them all the way through the League's Cup, got some great wins along the way and then just fell short of the very

last hurdle. Yeah, it's a team there, especially here at home on their day, can be absolutely anyone in MLS, Absolutely anyone. And I think these two teams are very even he matched, and we'll see this game play out in that sense. Nashville maybe the slightly better of the two, but they're the home team. And for the Sounders it's been good enough. We're still room to improve chatmore right hand side JP coming across, Jack Bore

tries to fly the ball to the fast side. It does and eventually collected momentarily by Scheffelberg, but he controls it off his right knee and with his right knee puts it over the end of the sideline. For a throwing for the Sounders deep on the Sounders right with Alex Roldan. The Nashville certainly have

had their success since coming into league in twenty twenty. Gary Smith, the consistent coach, played coach obviously for a time the Colorado two years in Nashville as a USL franchise before coming to MLS in twenty twenty, which they succeed in their first year, getting all the way through to DECN Conference semifinals.

Look at their fourth consecutive playoff appearance. If Maher has the ball, finds Leal pinched all the way in from his right wing spot in the middle of the field, Sounders a little bit of pressure inside there and half of the field, but allowing Nashville to have the ball with comfort. It Bear just sitting about ten yards inside Nashville's half of the field as Nashville find good angles of play and watching Walmut seed this the type of thing they did. They

collect the ball, they possessed ball well. And then when Hanny Muktar was doing shooting practice, I don't think he missed one. Yeah, and they're a hard team to prepare for, but he said, look, they're probably a little bit comfortable being out of possession, but also very good on the board. And one of the issues with Muttar is because he doesn't stand still or stay in one place. He's movements very good. He's very hard. Hard to man mark him or designate one player to watch him. It's got

to be done by group effort. They all has a shot, speculative shop and thirty five yards blocked by the Sounders back line and the bear gets shrugged off the ball. He's still a little bit better about holding that ball up. The ball comes to his feet and the Sounders still have it in possession

with attention. You're trying to flick it around the corner. But the experienced, goodoy, the Panamanian international still reveling of course from that Gold Cup run, and not the US out in Peks in the semifinals, shrugs, attend to off the ball, and that's just experienced. The body between player and ball reads the play well. He's able to clean that up. Yeah,

he's having a fantastic game. I think in that engine between my party, good guy and let's even count motto when he drops a little bit deep there, I think the Sounds having a hard time it's been outnumbered and we'll see Shack moyne these errors a lot more than we'll see Alex Rodan. Yeah, right channel fast side. Jack Moore eighteen yards from the end line places the ball square to Haney Muktar top of the box, challenged by Atensio, goes

short to McCarty. Switch the ball all the way across the love. It just spinels clear of love. It a little bit loose on the pass by Dex McCarty. Not like him. It's gonna be a Sounders throw on this near side there, right. But join us in celebrating fans like you joining our fan appreciation match on Saturday, October seventh, as we take on Cascade Arrival Vancouver white Caps at seven thirty pm. Don't miss the last home match

of our regular season. By your tickets today at Sounders fc dot com slash tickets. As the ball gets launched long by Yamar, do you get here in the fourtieth minute, still remains Neil neil between Nashville and Sounders, and the score update is presented by Provident Swedish so Steve. As we get here in the final five minutes of this first half, the men should earlier. Bran Schovetz will be satisfied the same feeling going in to the fourteenth minute at

this point. Yeah, and also the Sounders I've played well by any threat of imagination, but also you expect to come to Nashville and they're gonna have their moments, which they have. But Stephan Frey hasn't been too threatened. The shot from Sorridge Marta had one, but I was a good height for Stephen Fry, So I don't think Schmetz will be too concerned. What he will one though, is second half it's gonna be a bit more because you

can't play this way again. I think in the end Nashville's momentum will grow and grow and then you risk losing the game. But for the Sounders getting through here about forty one minutes or so, it's been good enough. You need to get a bear to hold the ball up a little bit better to allow Rodan Nikoladero to be more influential, because we've not really seen those guys

on the board as much as we'd want to. Ye mostly defending for some of these guys at this point, as Goody has it shifts it from this near side left as the fast side. Good header cushion headed by Reid Baker White. He's on his bike down the left hand sit. Good play again by the young left bacause he receives the ball. Nashville asks in a handball, but nothing given by the referee. Ball down the line. Good going again. Reading the players you mentioned just a minute ago, with the tense

you read the play well. Shepherds the ball out and Nashville build through pressure. We're able to get away with shack. Moore launched the ball loong to Hanny Mugto. Good play by Gaymar to the feet of Chew top of the box. Tensill strike the ball well and good saved by comfortable saving the end by will List, but good confidence strike from josh A Tensio from all of twenty five yards rattlers into the goalkeeper's chess remains nil Nill. Yeah, you

do want to see that more from the sounders. Sometimes it's trying to be a little bit too intricate, and that was the example of your Chew day. Yes, you can play read bike whiten in book. Unless that price is one hundred percent precise that passes. It's gonna be very hard to bring them down that way. You do have to just put your foot through it

at times, as attentional does on that occasion. But as sounds and a half, well here getting that in transition, and we'll started to see the dare roll roll down and especially if you're true, a lot more in possession, which is what you want to see. The Sound was asking for a free kick, nothing given referee and giving the advantage and sounds we preferred a free kick from thirty five yards. They have it on the left hand side,

comes back to JP. Sounders have four men in the box, comes in by JP, comfortably cleared by maher So the finds the feet of Surrige, who holds off Yaymar. It sounds press a little deeper as Christian roll down, challenging Love It too clips the ball forward to Shefferberg and the Sound was able to clean it up well with a combination of Jackson, Reagan and Yeyma and rolls it all the way back to Stephen. Fry finds the feet of Red Baker White and just Sound has taken a breath. A couple of

floris in the attacking third re end this first half. Yeamar has it this near side of the right, and we'll continue to keep you updated with scores around the league. Anything that makes a change on that Western Conference, we'll give you those scores this point of course, nil nil here in Nashville, Tennessee. Saint Louis, Kansas City nil nil, Minnesota Sam Jose nil nil,

Houston Dallas nil nil. We've got Colorado, Austin, LA Portland and Vancouver DC playing later this evening to Sounders have an attacking third with JP to Jackson Reagan. Sounders ending this half in possession of the ball, just dictating

possession at this point. Sound has not had much of the ball this first half forty percent possession, but they're going to finish this half with good sustained pressure in this attack in third test to the goalkeeper from a shot of Atensio dallash Waldon flicks around the corner to Christian rold On right hand side, back to his brother to JP right corner of the box, walls a batch.

Christian rolled on right channel a little combination with Alex Roldan flicks around the corner with his right foot, goes square to Josh Atencio twenty five yards out, rolls the ball left till Ladero down the line towards Leo Chio cut inside, good defended by Jack Moore, rolls over the end line. It's gonna be a corner kickller Sounders remains nil nil. That very good and that's the best

bit of football the Sounders have produced all evening long. And it's probably a lot more of what we thought we'd see as a pattern here the Sounders with the ball in the final third, going from left to right, pro brink probbrink, trying to break Nashville down on that occasion. In the end, it's well defended by Shack Moore, Leo Chow getting inside, but that prolonged possession there with ten fifteen passes, shifts on the ball left to right,

everyone getting a touch. That's a lot more of what we want to see from the Sounders as it forces Nashville back on the hills and then least the opportunities like this from a set piece. Forty fifth minute here, as we approach the half time points, the last chance for the Sounders with their corner kick with Ladero outswinging corner kick with his left foot comes in near corner of the six, easily cleared by Nashville JP top the box strikes blocked by Mayhe.

Nashville now come in transition with Sewage plays the ball down right inside one d one we'd Baker watching and Hanni Muktar Shavelberg roaring down the middle has the bonus feet cuts back and a great challenge by Jackson Reagan. He came back, he saw the danger and he tackled Shavelberger remains on the deck. Wonderful challenge by the Seattle Sounder center back. I mean that is a game saving

tackle from Jackson Reagan. He has to get back in the end. Yes, he goes through the man as well, but that is what you call a proper tackle Jackson Reagan. There will see no replay. Montis erithing great and I actually like Whatsapperberg does. It cuts inside, the touch is a bit heavy. Reagan reads it and that is a proper proper attack wise, he comes in Matt Oh and he really does go through the player that I mean, that could have been pretty bad, but wonderboard ferres square and he

had to great challenge old score heavy. Yeah, it's a challenge. When we were kids in England, you had to see that. In the second minute, you see that four or five times a game before. You don't see that too often here from Jackson Reagan, but definitely definitely left an impression under Man as well. Well, that's a statement tackle if you've ever your scene one Towards the end of this first half of Jackson Reagan, I don't think anything will be looked up for the referee. It seemed as clean of

a tack as you got. Momentum carried him through and there was a one big body in Jackson Reagan against a much lighter body in Schaffelbergen. When force meets force, sometimes the smaller players going to come off for the worst. As he hobbles off the field aided by his medical staff and his physio. Well, that's the kind of thing, Steve, that will get these guys going in the locker room. It will help Brian Schmidtz to give that half

time teen talk. Yes, and that tackles as good as any half time space there because it will galvinize the guys, give a bit more momentum. That beliefs seemed through the air of concern is just how exposed the sounds were there from the old set piece. You don't want to end a half even handy MutS on one if you one fifty yards or space to play. And so that's that we looked at and addressed a half time. But the sound is what actually end in a half quite well, but could it be Nashville

went ahead? Well, that's the final whistle, extra mile stoppage time. It's really nothing and no goals to speak up in this first half. As we get here in Jeodas Park, chances of both teams a couple of good says by Stephan Fry good safe from distance by Joe Willis. The Sounders and Nashville gonna go in at half time, goalless, don't go away at half time. We're gonna have Jackson, Bread and Pete gonna break it all down from Jodas Park here in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville nail, Sounders, nail

Now time for the Sounders FC halftime show forty five minutes in the books here at Judas Park in Nashville, Tennessee. No score between the

Sounders and Nashville SC. Jackson Felts, Pratt Evans pe Few in here for the halftime show and Listen. We've said before the match, said we walk away from this happy with a point. Currently sits zero zero Bratt. How do you look at the first forty five minutes. Yeah, I think the Sounders are under the gun early on. There a number of corner kicks, and you never want to see that when you're away from home because it's just constant pressure. It's really hard to clear your lines early in a game and

get into a rhythm if you give up so many corner kicks. But the Sounders did well. They defended well, and I think there were bouts that the Sounders had good possession, but it took them, you know, fifteen

twenty twenty five minutes to really get into their own game. And I think for our attackers, especially our wing players, if we're gonna push forward, we've noticed Nashville is sitting almost nine players behind the ball every time the Sounders pick it up in Nashville's half, and so there's nothing wrong if we're going to go on a break. It's different you play at home. Leo Chi as a freedom to go because away teams are always gonna pla safe, they're

gonna try and knock the ball long. But no problem with Leo Chi then sprinting forward, putting his foot on it, pulling it back, and just keeping possessions. So that's being a smart player. At the end of the day, especially you started to see his legs get a little bit tired there towards the end. When the legs go, the brain goes. So we need him to be more in tune with the game. Understand Yes, we play the same way away from home, but also there's moments to keep possession

and be a bit more savvy in attack. I thought Seattle played themselves into the game. It took a while, right fifteen twenty minutes, and to Brad's point, we were under the gun. They had more possession of the ball, the corner kicks they were kind of hinting Seattle len. But then it got better and the game got more entertaining and good opportunities and terrific shot from Alex rol Don Willis didn't even block it get his hands up in time.

He smashed it and it went up Willis's chest, and then Nico had one maybe a foot wide, and then it became a bit end to end Surgus with his run and great tackle from Jackson Reggan read Baker Whiting's having a

good game for Seattle. I've been quite impressed with him, and boy he gets himself forward and Brad, Brad and I we're sitting next to each other at one point on a corner kick on a breakout red Baker Whiting's on the right hand side, and we're thinking wow, and normally that's It's probably not what coach Schmetzer wants him to do, but the fact that he's got the

gumption to go forward and go forward good for him. So they I think Brian Schwetzer in the locker room right now is saying, hey, that was better. We need to have forty five more minutes like we had the last eighteen to twenty. So yeah, Seattle did well and they've just they got to put one away. A bear needs a little bit better service inside the box. Sometimes it's just a bear alone. We need numbers inside the box as well, absolutely well. Sounders FC Soccer is presented by provid In,

Welcome back to Giontas Park Sounders Nashville sc even at zero right now here in Nashville, Tennessee. I'll tell you that this copyrighted audiocast with Major League Soccer man I'll be retransmitted,

Let's take a look at the Sounders bench tonight in this zero zero match and include Stephen Cleveland, Javier Ariaga, Kellen row Back available for the first time since July eleventh. Oh, Bet Vargas ethan double air, Paul Rothrock and Freddie Montero Brad were your keys of this second half? And who do you think

may join the team here in the second half off that bench? Yeah, I think the first part of that question is I was surprised on how Nashville is sitting so deep behind the ball every time the Sounders attack. Obviously they are aware of the Sounder's ability to get forward, so they're really trying to keep this game to zero. So how do you counteract that the Sounders have to start taking shots from distance? They must because at the end of the

day, if there's a couple that are on frame. Joe Willis is gonna be like guys, you have to step to the ball. And when that happens, we all know everything. Everything spreads out, everything opens up. It allows more room for a bear, allows more room for combinations for Nico, whoever it is. So if they're just gonna sit, you got a test Is keeper from distance in the second half. I think you see Montero

come off the bench. It depends on how this one plays out. If you keep it to zero, you might see Ariaga come on and play five in the back. See this one out. Get home with a point. Because you got three games in a week, do you take Christian off because he's played a lot of minutes and you want him healthy for that last third game on the week, especially at home. So a lot still to kind of figure out and digest with this one, but most importantly, playing a

zero shots from distance and put one in the back of the net. Yeah, scoring does change games, that's for sure. In addition to what you're saying about them getting numbers behind the ball, Baker Whiting hit a great diagonal ball that started short of kickstart Seattle, starting to put them under pressure. Nashville under pressure for the next fifteen twenty minutes, the last fifteen twenty minutes the second half. I'd love to see a little bit more of that.

We see that from JP, we haven't seen it tonight, but changing the point of attack before they can get set up, and then the wing play. It's been pretty good down the right hand side and left hand side. We've just got to make sure we have numbers inside the box and then you can't give anything up. Mutter had one really good shot. Fry came up with a big save in the twenty fifth minute. You can see why he is so dangerous so defensively. Stay the way you've been standing listening to the

Nashville announcers. They were talking about how good the defense is of the Sounders. They've got to go ninety minutes today and get to shut out but wing play, get a bear on the ball, change point of attack, Sounder Fans. Budlett was brewed to be a delicious and easy to drink beer. Welcome back Sounders fans to Geodas Park in Nashville, Tennessee, where your sound is facing Eastern Conference team Nashville SC tonight good open first half. Both keepers made a couple of important saves. For the biggest play of the entire first stop was Jackson Reagan's monster tackle to say what looked like the inevitable goal at the death and it remains nil

nil here at both teams come out Sounders in the change strip. We just gonna see if there's any changes made by the coaching step half time. It I believe there is. They're in their way kit that Bruce Lee kit, red shirts, black shorts, black socks, attacking the goal TOI left and

then Nashville and the biggest soccer specific state him in North America. They're attacking the goal to our right, decked out in their traditional all yellow as a bear and ladera over the ball of quiet for both of them the first half. As the Sounders get going in this second half, as Yema rolls it down to JP, sounds like a little pepping their steppers to get going.

Ball down the right hand site just given away slightly as Nashville able to clear it a little nudge in the back from Yama and Mukta and it bears able to pull it down well with his right foot and played out with his left foot to read Baker White and play well knet first half, both defensively and offensively to Leo Chu coming inside, little combination with a bear to JP.

Good start by the Sounders here in the first minute to Ladera which sitting on the left hand side clid eventually by Walker Zimmerman with his head kinds of foot of Randall leal, it's able to wriggle out of pressure. Daks McCarthy just trying to shake off a challenge of a bear and with that for the first time in the second half, we're going to throw it down to Michelle.

Thank you, Danny. I had a chance to with a head coach Brian Schmitzer coming back out of the tunnel, and he said he was really actually pleased with how his team performed in the first half of how they withstood that heavy Nashville attack early on, and you think that that's actually going to go to their benefit in the second half, because he says Nashville has worn themselves

out. So the main message to the players at halftime was just cleaning up the sloppy passes, slow down, there's no rush to score, go for higher percentage shots. Specifically, he really called out the performance by Red Baker Whiting, who has been great inside and outside the box, really kind of shutting down muck Tart multiple times this match, and he looks to see more

from him in the second half. Thanks Michelle. Yeah, we were just mentioning Red Baker wattes and played really well defensively, and a Shappelberg who was on the end of that tackle from Jackson Reagan and hobbled off the field just before halftime. Three old free of Alex Roldan gets dragged down on the left hand side, the far left hand side, towards the end line. It's going to be an early and threatening free kick for Nashville. Steve zaquanic quality

about set pieces. They had a number of corner kicks. Here's a left here's a right foot in swinging corner cree kick coming in to HANDI Muktar speak on the left hand side. Yeah, and for the amount of they've five today in Nashville, he'll be disappointed. You haven't got enough from it at all, and especially having five or sore corners in the first half a LOLd but the sound as now it takes one moment, one board of quantity,

which Muta does have. So the Sounders have to stand strong here. Zimmerman obviously is a clear threat. Raygun and Yamo defend in that central area here, and it's a game that could be decided by one boat, and they could government set piece. These moments are extremely vital for tonight's matches. Presented by Extra Mile, a convenience store with extra treat yourself right an extra mile early in this second half, Nashville early free kick on their left channel three

yards from the end line. Hanni Mukta with his right foot, love it with his left foot where I his whistle goes good Doy trying to make a front post run. Flash your bodies, referee, he's getting himself involved. Chris Pencils take a sure things calm down inside the box again. The big men are up walkers. Zimmerman sitting on top of the six yard box, love its steps away. It's gonna be handy. Mulked out with his right

foot in swinger, whipped him with pace towards that front post. Goodhead of a Yama dipping driven caught free kick, but cleared well by the Sounders. Goes out that fast side for a throwing for Nashville with love. It's all his hands. A couple of long throws by the left back. He's got to change out the ball maybe for someone's the little dryer. He lines up what looks like a long throwers Sam Stowage big number nine inside the box Walkers

zimm and being the target, goes to him and flicks it. Cleared well by Jackson. Reagan on the stretch finds of Jet Moore tries to switch the point of attack. JP reads the ball well headed down the line to Leo Chow gets in between two players, kind of awkward collision of bodies eventually hits the hand of Leo Choo's gonna be in Nashville. Free kick right in front of head coach Gary Smith, just orchestrating his team as would get early on

in this second half. Remains nil nil. Let's get you the teams. Stephen Frying gold back four of rolled on Yamar Reagan and Reed Baker, Whiting, Josh at Tensio and JP in the middle. Rolled down on the right. That's Christian rolled down on the right. Nikoladero and the ten. Leo Chio on the left and it bar as the number nine. As the Sounders break in transition across the halfway line farside the right, Josh a tensil, I mean all sorts of pockets space in the first half, was involved in

some goal kicks they were launched towards him. Bryan Schwitzer was complimentary of his efforts against Colorado, gets the nod tonight ahead of Obed Vargas. Of course, Russneck at home with an illness, Jordan Morris missing birth of his child. As a Sounders habit left hand side, Leo two cuts in on his right foot scored a goal like that, this time goes low to Willis is right comfortable save eventure by the Nashville goalkeeper. Remains nil nil between Nashville and

Sounders. But I think already one of the differences in the second half early is Abears hold up that he's kept a lot more boards just in this opening few minutes of the second half they he did in Indian Tyrant on the first half. So that's gonna help help the Sounders attack more, keep the board, extend their possessions. Abears obviously had a conversation with the likes of Preky All branch Mets at halftime says, look, help us when the board comes

up, let us stick. It allows guys to really trust it can make support runs. And there ready in the second half that's been a big difference. When the Sounders five minutes and a few booze on the crowd handing Upto went to ground I think given by the referee, he was running with the ball. In transition, Briggle passed a couple of Sounders players eventually but stopped.

The Sounders have it in possession. Let's give you Gary Smith's starting lineup, no changes by Nashville Joe Willison, Gohler back four of Moore, Zimmerman, Mayher and Lovetts, good Dooy and McCarty in the middle, Leal, Mukta and Shappelberg and then Sam Storage as their number nine. In a fifty second minute, Sounders have possession, rolled it across a reed Baker Whiting on this left hand side. And see we were talking just before we got on

air. Mukta had a chance at the very end of that first half one v one versus read Baker Whiting and he was was it a combination of a better ball to Schaffelberg or was it the opportunity not to go one v one as the ball comes in. But Jackson Reagan clearst So I'll ask you the

question again. Was it a factor of Mukta against Reed Baker White and the success Baker Whiting had against one v ones and the success he had against the al and even him and he pulled that ball back play the square versus going one b one. Yeah, I think it was a combination. I think definitely in Mouktar's mind in natural instances, if he's having a kind of game where he's having a lot of success, he's gonna goal for that. But sometimes your teammates run. Just in Mars, the board was such a hard

run from Shaffle work. Here was a couple of steps a head of Christian Rolldon that Moktar almost had to blame. You've got to plame in that situation, and Indian plays are pretty good board that ends in a you know, the monster tackle from Jackson Reagan. But I think from Moktar in his mind, was his teammates run made up his mind for him? The als able to send the ball towards the end line. That's near side Nashville's right, but the Sounders are going to come away with it with JP to read Baker,

Whiting and were lading down that left hand side drive forward. The ball got options, comes inside nice patience by the young left back, plays its square to Christian rolled on Alex Roldan lagging behind. The Sounders had possession thirty yards from Gold middle of the field Attentia rolted across to Alex Roldan are involved on that right hand side Ladera showing the feet just asking for the ball. He's get more involved in this second half, be more influential without attacking third

of the field. The sound has retained good possession left hand side Rebaker white and rolls it to Leo Chew shot Moore closing the ball down. He comes inside square for a combination with Ladera top of the box with his left foot challenged by McCarty, rolls it to Leo Chew, putting the ball little combination with it. Bear if their turns and went right for through the legs of

Simone for a split second, just couldn't wriggle free defending by Nashville. In the end, Sage has it dress to go through the legs of JP wins it the Dara left hand side, left channel. Good patience again by the sound has nothing on forward and they go back. Yeah, and this is good. We saw us towards the end of the first half. We talked about his sustained possession in the attack and half and as sound has been a good job there and in doing it because when the board is lost the counterpress,

we're covering a board right away. It's been very good for the Sounders getting numbers into the attack. And I feel as we say that, of course the sloppy parts and Alex roll down and now you've got to defend again. Muktar riggles free from the Sounder's possession fast side the left. The good defending by attend here comes back just Nix the ball off the toe of Muktar and the Sounders, now having inside Nashville's half of the field. Christ she

rolled down fastside the right, rolls it into it. He isn't able to get in front of Maya. The Sounders retrieved again. Sounders on the front foot here good first ten minutes of the second half. Ball gets whipped in eventually collected by Willis, but it was a flashing run by Leo Choo trying

to get in front of the goalkeeper. The Nashville are able to build out of the back, and certainly whatever Brian Schweitzer said Steve at halftime teams to come out flying, it has and it's been a much better start to dis half. And it wasn't a first half, and it's pretty much how the half was ending. It sounds gonna begin to find their feet, keeping the board a little bit better. We haven't seen Stephan Frank cord into watch an

appall here. Really. The one cent piece that Moksas swung in was headed out by Yama quite comfortably. Soul fifty five minutes or so on the road, I think you for the Sanagore where to be happy. You'll not be made to really after defend for your lives. There's been a couple of scary moments, but for the most part, pretty comfortable. Good checker by Zimmerman. The ball goes to the muti is it isn't able to wriggle free of Yama, towed by the big center back. Sounders have it again again inside

Nashville's half of the field. It's a little sloppy by Nashville's and she giveaways so far alound the Sounders to build some sustained pressure, need to test the goalkeeper. It's a little bit more for this pressure. Puss your away from home. Leachu has it. Let's ball square. Zimmon reads the ball well drilled into Christian roll Dan. I can't believe there was a free kick there.

If you try and see that replay, it looked like he was drilled in world by Christian roll Dan. Referee gives a free kick made for a handball branch first and just walking around with his hands in his pockets outside his technical areas. We look down as Nashville started building out of the back. As we mentioned, lots of games going on again tonights we gets this critical juncture of the season. Colorado Austin just kicked off twelve minutes in remains nil

nil Houston. In the second half with Dallas Big Texas derby, there remains nil nil, Minnesota, San Jose nil nil. Getting into the second half, and of course here in Nashville, Tennessee, it's Nashville nil Sounders nil. As the ball gets sprayed from the center to this near side the left

to read Baker White and rolls the ball into Leo Chew. Good combination with the two young left sided players, and it's read Baker White, you've got some time and space drives forward, tries to play the ball in nights ball. It eludes Mayor and it was eventually love Its that came then and cleared it. But a bear had a chance. Steve Zaccuani listen read back await, and you gotta say he's been outstanding today both sides of the wall.

We spoke about. He's defending you know one do you one at times against muktie against layout. On that occasion he leaves the attack, they'll choose an option for him. He doesn't need him and plays an excellent boarder. You want to see a bear maybe getting ahead of it, You make the run,

you take the chance. Here's a sort of opportunity. We've seen rold with the ass really make a living doubt of readbackawhait and and everything right in that situation and in the end of Sounders may be deserved to at least get a shut off on Gold had to sell for the corner or comes in by roll, dance, swung in head a bike it bear off the crossbar. It was a great delivery by Alex Roldan. A good header by a Bear comes off the crossbar, but Sounders still have it all inside the box of

Jackson Reagan right hand side cuts it. The Bears got it. It'side a six yard box back of the net. Nothing given by the assistant referee, and it's a goal by the Sounders and it's a Bear the lineup for the first time since mid July, and his third goal for the Sounders and his first goal since the second game of the season. Here in Nashville, Tennessee. It's Nashville Nail. Sounders won and in Bed just moments before, had a head up that cannon off the cross bar. Didn't let that get him

down. As the Sounders recycled the attack. It'sllent work, but just a ten shot. It was really, really fantastic. Of course, it's gonna be checked and we'll be looked at, and you bet this one may be coming back. It's gonna be checked. Yeah, you bet could be off side if you won't shot under the darrel shot. I think in bed the replay showing guys, he's maybe just half or foot side and if that's the case. This is coming back and he's unlucky. I don't know. I'm

looking at the thing. Was it Lovetts that came back on the blind side? Is it Mayor? I think Mayor left him on side. It's close, it's gonna be close. It's gonna be close. Well, thea it's gonna take a look. Referees just standing in the middle as the big board says checking gold possible offside. The crowd give it, yeah, he's offside. Yeah, that's coming back. He did everything. Grant your beer.

We just said, you know how much he needed that ball. But two big chances in two minutes, in two seconds, actually there for your bear. Well, unfortunately this is not gonna stand. It's gonna come back. Well, good collection of plays by a bear. Was a header off the crossbar initially and then thirty seconds later found the ball at his feet, quick turn and shot when under Willis. The referee gives a signal he's going to

check the monitor. And as we always know, when the referee jogs over checks the monitor, information has been fed in his earpiece and we expect that to be turned over. But as a referee checks that monitor, we're gonna throw it down to Michelle Luck at the sidelines. Thank you, Danny. I just wanted to point out at when I was speaking with Bryan Schweitzer at the halftime, I mentioned that he was talking about Red Baker Widings play.

Oh it looks like the was a yellow card just given there. But I wanted to just say Danny that he was also very impressed with how a Bear was playing in the first half and even more so now in the second half, especially on such short notice, because we have to remember that Raoul was slated to start tonight's match. Yes he was, and we mentioned he picked up a back injury spasm in practice yesterday, got treatment throughout the day yesterday

and into today. The expectation was it was gonna be able to recover. He wasn't. Referee text them monitor hand goes up offside given Sounders have to build again. But Steve a Bear is gonna build a little bit of confidence from that combination of head against the crossbar, turning shot and golf. Yeah, absolutely, Danny, and he should I think a Bear should be disappointed that the goals come back. He needs the goal, we know that, but he's had a much better second half. Fame in terms of he such

is holding a board up. We just talked about that, and then again he was unlucky with a head up. Sounders have a top of the box La Darrow slide it just left of the post. Here was a chance for the Sounders, top of the box with the darrow, just trying to find that left hand corner of Willis's goal and just dragged it wide of the post. But again good question by the Sounders. Another chance and Steve. When you're away from home, you get those chances, you gotta at least hit

the target. You do and the Sounders listen, don't take encouragement. There's been a better team second half. But when you have these moments away from home, when you're on top, which the Sounders all right, now you've got to make a count. But it's very hard to sustain this for the next thirty minutes or so. Then we have to play here. So he could have We want that one back. It was a poor giveaway by a

wolfer's immiment Christian Rode. Don pounce on it. He found his way to the d arrow, he dragged his shot wide and he should have hit the target. There big charscles begging for the Sounders while substitution as born Nashville, it's Teal Bumbary comes on the field goal scorer against San Jose in midweek for their one one tie on the West Coast, and it's gonna be Sam Sue that comes off, and as Gary Smith has mentioned throughout the week, they're

just trying to get Sam Sage's legs Underneathan. They're really excited about the young player twenty five years old, came in from Knotts Forest and certainly they've been looking for somebody to partner alongside. Muktara continues to be dominant in all facets offensively third season of ten plus goals and ten plus assists, and then Faffa Pico as well, coming off the field for Shaffelberg on that left hand side. Pica another score work of the MLS, second leading goal scorer for this

team with five goals on the year behind Muktar's fifteen goals. Jack Moore has it down the line towards Bunberry off his chest pressure by Jackson Reagan, big body now bumbarres he wriggles free of Jackson Reagan and Rebaker Whiting. JP comes across, tries to whip the ball in HiT's a side netting. Gould kicks Sounders remains Nashville nail. Sounders nail here. In the sixty third minute, Steve Zakwani, Yeah, there'll be a change share for Nashville terms Howard the

attack. Both Pekole and Bunbury bring a lot of pace up top of there, a lot of faith. He just saw Bunbary there receiving a board. He has the body to hold off Jackson Reagan. He's donn Loo to get him behind, as will Pekole. This now means Motto will drop off even a bit more because he's gonna have runners beyond him. So the Sounders have to really be aware when Motto come into that half space. Is it attention to on John Parlot? Is he a Marte times? And Reagan at times

being aggressive and went all the way. But I'll be something to watch as this game enters its final for aggressive moved by Gary Smith brings on to real MLS experience and he go and Bumbary fourteenth mless season for Bumbarry, Storeward or wherever he's played, Sporting KC, New England and Nashville says twenty twenty two. As he has the ball at his feet, he was short to the isle, shifts the ball from the center to far side the left to love

its flex the balls left foot. Second touch comes in with a cross. Sounders have a potential Chancellor a breakaway good By initially finds the ball, but it falls to the feet of Christian rolled on walls its square to Ladera across the halfway line center of the field, rolls it out to this near side the left one be one shout more against Leo Chook. A couple of steppers

comes inside top the box to Ladera to attendsium. Sounders now just calming the play down far side of the field, right hand side is available and open top of the box especially rolled down just wide from twenty yards out. He took the ball in his right foot, good first touch and a really good strike just goes why the Nashville goal gold kick Nashville means neil neil oh.

And it's a good attack from the Sounders, really good attack. And in the end when it finds Chrishier Rodan, he goes there from great and that's a really good first touch. Takes him towards goal outside the eighteen yard bonds and he really caught that shot there Christian rodon volkyball was beaten and that is

just inches wide off the far post. Of ways, the sounders will be celebrating of the boat and it would have been a really good one at that gold kick from Willis goes long, this time to Pico headed by Yamark. Sounders have it pick up the middle of field with JP Wriggles free of pressure from McCarty, goes over the top to a bear. Can he bring it down? He can, and he just off the toe of Zimmerman goes wide

of the goal. It's gonna be a krni kick sounders. But good play by the sounds ball over the top to a bear, took it down. Zimmermon came in to defend and just went past the left hand post of Willis's goal for krnikick Sounders. Anybod that's good from Ebaar. We spoke a lot about his hold up play coming towards the board, but how about that fretting behind every two or three times and a half? Can you really make that run and forced the defenders to follow you? Jar Parler found him with a

great pass there. The first touch wasn't ideal from Ebert, but it does end up for pointing it for the Sounders. Sounders right hand side, Ladero has it with his left foot JP in close proximity. So all this in the first half, we went short, goes short again to JP, whips it in outswing at the top of the six yard box, gets cleared initially and it's slash shot by a ten soho he had a chance about sixteen yards out, fell to his left foot, no control with the shot, slicest

wide gold kick. Nashville remains Nashville nil, Sounders nil. I think Branch Metzer whatever was done at halftime, and I don't think much had to be said. I think it was a simple case of look, we've been okay, we can be better here and let's clean up a couple of areas. One was our possession, normal small giveaways and defensively, just cut the space between our midfield and back line. Don't give that to Mota. And they've made those change them being really good. It's been a sound as the betteam

second half, the more laly to score. Stephen Fry has been very, very free in the second half. He's not been troubled at all. It's one way traffic. But when you're on top, Yeah, as the momentum, you have to strike, and the Sion has have yet to do that, and that, of course gives the whole team belief that he came out to turn around. Yet midfield looks a lot sharper in this second half.

As the ball gets not long, Zimmon goes over, Ladero comes across, ball doesn't trickle out of plates cleared by Zimmerman, and it goes out for a Sounders growing five yards from the corner flag. This near side the Sounders left. Ladero has in his hands, just talking it over with read Baker Whiting, with Vacer Whiting. This whole susition now ses to jog inside the box, but they're using a tail to dry off the ball. Oh, this is a sign of a long throw. Fans brewing and think Ladera,

but have an earful. As Michelle mentioned, the first half, the confined to the state eat him is really nice and tight. He never too far away from the playing surface. There maybe no more than five paces. Well there A continues to try his hands off. The ball goes long, and then eventually throws it up in the air, it spins off its hands,

and with all that preparation couldn't have got any worse. I think Ladera is just chatting with the fans in the crowd are standing up and giving him an air full and saying, hey, I'm gonna drive her hands off here. I think you've got lucky deck with the board technically never came in as want to play as a slide one take two. When you've got an error, bar goes in and it just throws out a bounds. I mean in the end of the they're less said about that throwing from the diarra. Maybe he

needs to stay in the middle of the field. Anyhow, we can all have chuck at when it's nil nilban the changed by Nashville schat Moore looks like he's just gonna hobble off. It's gonna be mules, gonna come on them. The nineteen on this right hand sign. We'll see if he plays as advanced as shat Moore did Sounders without making a change so far, because it mentioned not much really to play with on the bench tonight with so many starting

players out, Let's give me the bench. Sarah Jaga, Montero row back the first time since getting injured in July, Steph Cleveland, Paul Roth, rock ethan double air, and then Obed Vargas. Those are the options of Brian Schwetze has certainly three games in a week a lot to contend for for this squad of players who will arrive back in seat very late tonight to get themselves prepped for the game on Wednesday. The ball goes down the line,

Pico has it, a little bit of time of space. Yama comes across the challenges and challenges well, it goes over the far touch line for a throw in ten yards from the corner flag. But let's copyright A. As it does, it gets whipped in goodhead of I the Sounders gets cleared, ricochets a good by left hand side towards the end line, clips it back in with his left

foot. You know, if you let the ball run, let's controlled misplayed by I'm your first touch for the sub suit slices it out of bound. Sounders are gonna take it with a throwing on this near side twenty three twenty four yards from the corner flag and Steve, we do have three games this week, short rest for these players. Expect Brian to kind of let these players see out as much as they possibly can, or do you see some

changes coming there? I think it can go either way because I'd say you're the season where yes, listen, three game week, can you find certain players some rest? But you also have to win. You do have to win. You have other teams who are nipping at your heels. You know that. I'm til it's officially official. It's not official yet. In the Sounders need at three points and in the second half they'll be disappointed. They've

been a much better team. The Sounders have been more aggressive, a lot more shot attempts and Brian sch Metzer's men has been the traffic's been going one way, it's been going downhill for the Sounders. Haven't been able to find that goal, so that will be disappointing. But I think Brian Schmzzer does have options and Kennen Roll, Freddie Monterrell's there too, a lot of experience. If you need those legs to see to see this game out, well,

let's not forget. This is the third game in a week for Nashville, the their third Western Conference game in a row. The Sporting k seat three nil last weekend when on the road, stayed on the road against San Jose and have won one tie a PayPal Park and then at home today. This is the first of four home games out of the last five. Thread Bag Whiteing strides forward again left corner the box plays born to a bear top of the box twenty yards out France. Christian Roldan rolls it out to the

right hand side. Alex Roldan at Tensi in support, cuts it back to his brother, goes square to Leo Chio left hand side, comes on its right foot, slight strikes the ball because over the end line. Goal kick for Nashville remains nil nil. Steves that wine. I think you gotta get a better shot than that. The Leil two understand why he's trying to do cutting inside, trying to bend that with his right foot, but you got you go. You can swing that board. One more job pinels and support.

A bear was crossed by, as was the darrel for the sounds there. You want to end up with a higher quantity shot than you did there with Leo Chew. But everything else in the attack promising play was very, very good and once again has to be said redbick White and needing a charge there. He's been fantastic and as of now a strong candidate for man.

The match ball goes along then the Nashville's right hand side, this near side as Jackson Reagan tracks it out place to say it going out of bounds, doesn't handing Muktub put some pressure on the big seal center back we're throwing from Nashville. Get it in quickly to Bumbar a look back heeled to Muktub been a little bit quiet in this first second half. He tries to football around the corner, will sloppy by the Nashville number ten there was a tensiold just

a little rushed on the board. He's put it's foot on the ball a little more composed, gives it away too cheaply. Nashville are gonna come again. And what you gain by starting a tensiol is the physicality covering ground, or you do lose that little bit of quality on the board. At five August, maybe he had the advantage of So if you could take the best of August, best of potential, then you have a complete MFM field up

both store developing ball store. Young Rashmuths are going more today for the physicality, but in those moments there the quantity of passing from attensil has to be a little bit better to allow the team to get on the attack. Pico tries to wringle free of the pressure of Rebaker watching. He recovers really well,

just gets a shoulder into the experience right midfield player. The ball comes in finds the hands of Stephen fried Dick out in all blue tonight as he throws the ball out to Alex Roldan fast side plays a ball in square to Ladera sound has got a bit more time and space in the midfield in the second half. Fight's the foot of Leo Chu won't be one versus Mule. The sub suit for Nashville Sounds just putting their foot in the ball, slowing

things down. Reebaker watching. As we mentioned, games are happening all around the league tonight, I get some of those scores are going to impact that Western car Fronce St. Louis winning one nil against Kansas City. During the seventy third minute, Leo Chew has it left hand side regals free of Leale Lela Mule double team Leo Chew neural options forward has to go back to Read

Baker. Whiting is gonna have to go all the way back to step fen Fryars Nashville step up their lines looked up like putting a little pressure on Jackson Reagan top of his own box. The pro teams Steve have been looked comfortable playing out the back under pressure. Yeah, they have, and I think

for the Sounders that's a big part of what they do. And ther second half looks a lot more like the Sounders we've come to know and love then they did in the first half, and that's why they've been a bit better on Nashville haven't responded well. And the biggest metric of the difference for first half second off is just how little we've mentioned Hanny Mukster's name in dangerous areas in the first offers all over the pitch, finding boards, getting between the

lines, being dangerous not so much. Second off ball goes over the top. Good cushion header by Jackson Reagan just wead the ball well backtracked cushion head on the sound has now come away with it. Ladera's near side the left biggles free plays ball to GP on this left hand side. Brian Schwetz is just demanding a bit more from his players, So I had to see a

couple of changes on the Sounders bench down below us. As Christian Roldan has in the middle of the field, rolls it out to the right hand side to Alex Roldan right corner of the box. Pressure by Lovett goes back to his brother Christian to Alex square to Ladera. Sounders just trying to find pocket of space an opportunity to challenge us his goal. Sloppy ball by Alex Roldaran goes over the far touch line. It's gonna be a throne from Nashville and

a couple of changes for Brian Schmitzer's team. As a Bear trudges over the end line, we're gonna see Montera come on for a Bear, and then old bed Varga, he's gonna make it's gonna come on, and Josh a tencho is gonna make way. And with that those couple of changes by Brian Schmitz and the Sounders, we're gonna throw down to Michelle, Thank you, Danny specifically on the Obette Vargas substitution right now. Expect an extra spark from

here. As coach Schmetzer told us in our production meeting that with the decision to go with Josh as a starter's night, he really went with him for Josh's size, having that extra body, that extra that extra height in the midfield. And so with Obett, he said he didn't take the news well, he was not happy that he did not start tonight. And so again I expect to see an extra spark from him in the remaining thirteen plus minutes

we have in this matched Yep, thanks Michelle. Well for Brian Schmittz, he hopes that the player as young as Oben Vargas is gonna be frustrated not playing. The sound has headed out of bound on the fast site. The sound has founds. If the ball goes down the line for Nashville, the feet of Hanni Muktar there charismatic number ten plays the ball square to the experienced McCarty as his pocket picked by Montero, comes back. Two very experienced players Dax McCarthy four hundred

and sixty plus games in MLS. It continues to chug forward, playing so many valuable minutes from this for this franchise and been around the block both at Dallas, DC, New York, Chicago and in Nashville here for the last four years. As JP wriggles free gets brought to the ground, it's gonna be as Sounders free kick. A couple of changes for Nashville Davis and Hatkinson. There's gonna be good doy and Leal who are gonna make way. So a couple of final changes for Gary Smith and his team to the last.

Off those changes, the sounds habit on the deck with JP s orchestrating the players in front. We Bake Whiting to his left right in front of Brian Schwitz, who's standing outside the technical area varking out instructions. He feels that there's an opportunity to get three points here. As the ball goes diagonally long off the chest of love It, who hooks it clear with his left foot, goes up into the night sky, bounces once and headed by open Varkas

finds the feet of Ladero. So Montero finds a chance to shoot. And we've seen that shot happens, Steve, You've seen it more than anybody else, both on the field and off the field. An angle shot by Montera. This time it goes over goal kick. It means no, no, yeah, it's not Freddy's best effort there, but over the years for what he's done Freddy Montera in that situation, I've seen him score from much much toffer angles there On that occasion, just gets way too much underneath it.

They'll ballfl Is harmlessly over the cross bar. Fell On Bumbary free kick for the Sounders. Everything has been somewhat liberal with free kicks today and Nashville gonna keep it going and Sounders a little bit of high press for Montera, chance to extend that one goal separation between him and Ruy Diaz tonight. Ruy Diaz, of course not in the squad due to an injury. Montera is sitting on seventy nine goals. Ruy Diaz and seventy eight goals. I've been interesting

fight to the finish line this season. Zimmon has it. Plays the ball to McCarty, Who's going to launch it long over the top? Game our good powerful aheader jumps over Muktar heads it out of bound. It's gonna be a thrown from Nashville twenty five yards or so from the corner. Flack another substitution for the Sounders. Sam is gonna be Young Paul roth Rock Is it

gonna come on the field? Theo Chew is gonna make way good outing by the left winger, but dangerous at times, both in transition and then the build up. Young Paul Roth. I've got a chance here, nine or so minutes left regular time, be come a hero like he was against Houston.

Steve. Yeah. Absolutely, And the instruction it's two rough rock would be very very simple because about there be busy defend when you have to remain, need to pay some pressure at some point, but in the attack you're free, go be dangerous, gets up into into good positions, and then if it comes your way, you've done it before, try to find it back in the net. And at this point you get the feeling whichever site finds it back in the net, this is a high mor ability that that

would be the winning goal. Ball down the line towards the end, I'm this near side the right, Davis clects it, plays by to the mule to Zimmiman back to Davis. Nashville, just trying to find an opening as a sound as to have eleven men behind the balls. Monterra chases and Harry's

the team slides across. Christian rolled down on Pico that cuts inside and his preferred right foot twenty five yards from Gold flicks to this near side the right to mule, challenged by Redbaker Whiting nice to tight the young man gets his foot on the ball, it flects the cross well. Darra goes to grounds, stays on his feet this time and it's gonna be Davis flects, the ball, goes square. Muktar wriggles free. Good challenge again by Red Baker

Whiting just timing on the tackle. You have to be perfect with that challenge. Muktar was in full flow inside the box, goes over the end line to kick Nashville, but against the good defended by the young man. He has to be perfect because Muktar really kicked into high gear there and he's just so dangerous, so dangerous, he's driving at the back line there. You can't really touch him. Any misstep will result in a penalty. Redbeck Whiting

again getting his time in correct. They're doing very well, but a Sounders dude got to see the corner and have to defend well here. As you said, any goal will be a big bold at this stage of the game. Six corner kick from Nashville left foot in swinging corner kick by Lovetts and it comes cleared well by Jack Swing and he's looked better and better over the weeks. So this aerial ability an area that Bryan Schwitzer forced him to work

on in the off season. It's certainly paid off the Nashville habit with lovetts. We'll step over past bar Guess clips to the back post finance Muktar brings it down well defended by the Sounders and it's Christian rolled on has it shifts it from center to this near side the left roth Rock little shimmy felt given by the referee free kick to the Sounders right in front of Gary Smith and the Rave Green r back at home for their second to last regular match of

the twenty twenty three season. Support your Sounders as they go up against La Galaxy on Wednesday, October fourth at seven thirty pm. You could watch via the MLA Season Pass on the Apple TV app, or listen on ninety three point three KJR FM and l A thirteen sixty am in Spanish with a provident Swedish prematch show starting at seven pm. So we're here in Nashville, Tennessee

remains Nashville nil, Sounders nil. Here In the eighty fifth minute, as we bake Wyant, it just tries to find the ball into the feet of roth Rock just trickles out of bounds. We're thrown from Nashville with mule as he darts are thrown into the middle of the field to pick towards peak Over. The Sounders come away with it with Obed Vargas lays its square to Alex Roldan just tucked in from right back spot. I see the Sounders haven't had

a clean sheet since the very beginning of July. Defended world so far, stepping Frisby reasently quiet in the second half. That all goes back to the fact that the back for the defense of midfield is a good shield in front. Yeah, I think the sound has done a much much better job in the second half. It's containing the dangers that Nashville possessed, primarily in the number ten Mukta, who had his run a few moments ago, but that's

really all he's done. Second half. First half was a lot more active, a lot more dangerous the Sounders. I've been crying out for a clean sheet and defensively, Yamun Reagan, I've been monsters back there. Alex rodanwans needed to be good defensively, has been hasn't really been challenged by Picole or Shaffersberg. Early in the game, and of course on his left hand side read Baker Whiten could be the playoff the game for the Sounders today. And

he's defended really really well too. Yeah, really good play by the young left back stepping in for new who is suspended due to yellow card accumulations. The ball goes to Robert left side of the eighteen yard box, back to Ladero to Obed Vargas getting here in the eighty six minute Nashville nil, Sounders

nil. And this score at day is presented by Providence Swedish. As the Sounders have it right in front of Sounders bench, knock it down the line a lot pushing the back unnecessarily by mule of the back of Roth Rocket. It's gonna be a Sounders free kick left channel five yards are so inside off from the touch line, twenty yards from the end line. Good opportunity Steve for whipp a good quality ball in as we get towards his final minutes of

the game. It's a good opportunity and a very important opportunity because as the minute's wind down here, we don't have too much left. These one must become big, and it looks like it's gonna be jar Parler, who's over the board here, Maybe Friendy Montero. It's actually gonna be friendy Montero here. You have Reagan in the box, you have Famark, Christian Rodan's in and around there too. You've got to try to fake those opportunities here because

they've become fewer far between. Montero, what's it in with his right foot? Good delivery flicked on eventually cleared by Nashville. Ackinan tries to close the ball down. Hooked cleared by Greed Baker Whitey, but good whipped and delivery cleared. World Bide Nashville. It's gonna be a throne for the team in yellow on this right hand side. Good here in the eighty eight minute, you mention sounded a little depleted tonight. Jordan Morris out with the birth of

his child again. Congratulations with the whole Morris family, cluding doctor Morris for being a granddad. Bore goes down the line, challenged by Jackson Reagan. Initially nothing given by the referee. I think he's looking for the advantage. No advantage given. Eventually referee was the whistle to his mouth. Could be a free kick for Nashville on this near side to get it going quickly. Davis factor McCarthy sounds defending strong, so as Bambarre and Mukta just sitting alongside

Yaymar and Jackson Reagan as they stand twenty yards from Stephen Fry's goals. They build out the back Walker Zim and US men's national team player. Of course, good challenge again by read by Kawati on this near side just kind of nixed the ball off the toe of Hackinson. It's gonna be a thrown for Nashville with Mule on the field for Shack Moore who's getting up and down that

right hand side. All game sounders now eleven men behind the ball. Low block now as back force sit and just wait as Nashville build switched the ball with Mayer these all the way to this near side, the right to Mule to McCarthy sound with a little pressure on now with roth Rock, but it goes back to Walker Zim and who's able to like the ball. As we

mentioned, some big games going on around the league tonight. St. Louis leading four goalson nil against Sports in Kansas City, Minnesota, and San Jose tied at one one US nil, Dallas nil Colorado won Austin nil. In a couple of late games between the Galaxy Portland, Vancouver and DC. Get here in the ninetieth minute, Nashville continue to have possession of the ball in Sounders half of the field was the right hand side. Hackinson cuts away from

JP. The real tressure on the ball right now as the Sounders just defend deep defending this clean sheet. This what would be the twelfth clean sheet for the Sounders and for Stephen fry Or goes into the Carti little week on the touch, the loose on the touch and Sounders have it. In transition, Paul Rothock driving forward, nothing forward, goes back. Sounders now retain a little possession. Can't go forward go back, especially times like this all goes

down the line. You bike a whiting not frustrated, but it's better down that area of the field than anything. And as we started to see a final change for the Sounders again, Brian Schmittz is starting to see the game. See the game out here in Ariaga. It's got to come on the field for Ladero and Brian Schmitzer most likely will shift to a three in the

back because we see the extra mas stoppash time. It's five minutes. The Sounders now shift into a three of the back be back white and slightly a little higher on that left hand side as Nashville habit deep in their half of the field. Sounders now just try to see this game out. Neil Neil here in Nashville, Tennessee. Two two teams at least conceded goals. Thought

it'd be a tight affair. The ball goes down the line to Hackinson, who receives the ball back to goal towards the end line, comes back to Mure, goes square to McCarty, has a chance to turn with the ball pocket picked. We've seen this before last year when it was Ladero got his pocket picked for Nashville's goal on the counter attack. This time, the Sounders aren't able to do much with it. But challenged by two different players, it would be a yellow card, but love its it was. Two players

went to the ground, went to the turf, slid in. It was a collision of fleets and legs. Gobert Vargas came off the worst for the yellow card for the Nashville left back. But here as we get into the deep into the ninety second minute, of five minutes of added time, Sounders have a chance to put the ball in the back of knit and you're gonna see some of the big men go up. Oriaga jogging forward, Jackson O Reagan jogging forward, as JP as the ball and Steve as we get here

in these final minutes, branch Schmitz is satisfied. On the road, tough place to play, Neil Neil going to the final few minutes satisfied with a tinge of disappointment for the second half has been more than enough to at least sneak out with a one year win. The flatback call will be much better with a three points and a playoff. Security ball comes in punch clear by

Joe Willis, no chances by the Nashville goalkeeper. The Sounders are gonna pick it up left hand side with greet Baker Whytty, who launches it long. A bad ball, something to chase Rariaga, but they a good smart decision. We've seen great Baker Waitty try to play it's short at times in previous game to give the ball the way. This time it takes no chances, locksdog ball long. The Sounders can regroup. Yeah, you win the ninth third minute. No one needs to take any sort of risk right there.

It's looking at the game's going to end up being a very valuable point. Listen, you know, needing two points to sub join us off in the playoffs and depend on how results were for you today that this point maybe enough for the sound is so job done to an extent, but you cannot let it slip at the last moment as Nashville go seeking to send this home crowd home in a frenzy two minutes remaining of five walk because of him and has

it in the attacking third of the field for Nashville. Ball goes into Hackinson clips the ball in. Stephan Price sees it and collects it well. And when you need an experienced goalkeeper who's there to protect his twelfth clean sheet of the season, he collects it, goes down to the ground, and now it lets the back four step up and now he got a chance to launch

him long and try and see how these final seconds of the game. Sounders haven't done well against Eastern Conference teams other than new red balls back in May. The last win was all the way back in twenty twenty two. It's an Eastern Conference team, So a point on the road would be good. But the ball goes down line Bumber is chasing challenge by Jackson Reagan, Jackson Areger just gonna leaned into Bunbury as he took the shot. The experienced forward

about ten yards out stocks the ball over the goal. It could be a goal, kicks Sounders and here in Nashville, Tennessee's groups gonna be Nashville nail, sound as nail as we start to see out the final few seconds of this game, and a really valuable point for the Sounder seats equity, Yeah

and Reagan doing just enough. There's a good running behind by Tour Bunbury Jackson Reagan knowing you probably won't match up for speed, but get enough of a body on him to make it a difficult finish for Tour Bunbring and it goes harmlessly behind step for Fris Gold and that probably should be it. The sound has played well enough to get the three points here, but again it's now six games unbeaten, so picking up a little bit of steam went into the

playoffs, especially considering Ru's missing and not available. Today just turned out to be a good point for the Sounders. Well, we're gonna say one thing. Sounders fans continue to travel in numbers. We've seen yelled green shirts all over Nashville over the last day or so. When we see them scattered around in the stadium, I think section two thirty three today is where the majority

are congregated. But we certainly see green shirts and purple shirts as well well of red shirts even and again we thank all the fans for all their support, both home and away, and certainly the players feel it. The ball goes down the line, headed clear by Hackinson right in front of the Nashville bench of Red Baker White. Thing's gonna walk over and collect the ball off the officials table. It's going to burn off these final seconds right down below

us. Ball goes down the line to Rothrop able to control it, play the ball in some montero, and there's the referees whistle. It was an enthralling game, were no goals to speak of. Both defenses and the end did what they do best. Clean sheet of both teams. The Sounders, it's their twelfth clean sheet of the season. For Nashville, it's their tenth clean sheet of the season. And Steve your final thoughts, yeah, for

the Sounders. You take it before the game, you'd have accepted this, but considering the goal that came back from Abear hitting the crossbar, how much you limited Nashville in the second half, there will be a hint of disappointment that this was not three points and just confirming their playoff spot. But in the big picture they will be encouraged as it's now six games unbeaten since that Atlanta game. Put the Sounders and did it shorthanded today, so a lot

of guys stepped up. Readbaker White and gets a special mention as it was outstanding most sides of the ball today. Good point for the Sounders getting back home and try to get six points for the two home from minute well, Steve said, longest on being run since the beginning of twenty twenty one. We got up to that flying stop playing three at the back. But for the sound is here in Nashville, Tennessee. It's a point, is a well end point up for Jody's pocket Nashville. It sounds nil, Nashville nil.

Show. Sounders FC Soccer is brought to you by Providence, Swedish official healthcare partner of Seattle Sounders FC. The Sounders FC postmatch Show starts now here Seattle Sounders unbeaten in their last six matches, a zero zero draw tonight at Jeodas Park here in Nashville, Tennessee. What's head down to the field, Michelle Ludcat with Read Baker Whiting. Thank you Jackson, Yes, I'm here with Read Baker Whiting our man of the match. Read excellent performance tonight, a

hard part match, sixth overall or sixth win in a row. I should say for this squad you go home with one point. What are your overall impressions that you think of this match, of how your team played. I think it's very good. I think this is a there's a really tough place to play against a really tough team, and I think we shut them down. We were great defensively. I don't think they got any good chances. We had a couple, we hit the bar, we had a goal called

off for off side. So I think in terms of looking at the game as a whole, I think there's not much more you can do than just get lucky with an off side caller head the ball an inch lower. But yeah, I think it's a really complete performance from everyone. I think this is this is a really good, really good result, really good performance for everyone here. You mentioned the defense you in particular and absolute beautiful performance tonight

in your fifth MLS start of this season. What worked so well for you in shutting down the reigning league MVP in Muktar tonight. I mean, I think it was a team effort, Like everyone from back to front was really good. Our defensive shape was really good, and the intensity we played with was was part of the message we had before the game, is the intensity like the last two steps of your press. I think it was a really really good team effort to put that all together. We knew last week that

knew who would not be playing tonight because the yellow card accumulation. What was your week light leading up to this, knowing that there was the opportunity for you to get the start, did you change your preparations or focus on anything in particular? No, I mean I always prepare the same way, and I think the team and the staffs everyone helped prepare. We had a really good week of training and I think everyone and everyone bought into the what we're

trying to do here, and I think it paid off. Wall Some draws feel like a loss, some feel like a win, some just feel like a draw. You guys are headed home with a point, and regardless of that, tonight really seemed like an amazing opportunity for you guy us to pick up some momentum as you look to close out the season. How will you guys use that to your benefit as you head into just three matches left in this twenty twenty three season, and of course on top of that having a

three match week. I mean, we don't we don't have a lot of time to rest and hang out. So we just take this game, are really really good performance by a team, and then we go we go Wednesday and try to try to build off that and do the same wine hopefully get to win at home. Read thank you so much for the time again, great performance tonight, Thank you very much. Thanks. That's Michelle lud Kid down on the field of Read Baker Widing, and I'll tell you already that

tonight's Toyota Man of the Match is that man Read Baker Widing. Your local

Toyota dealers are proud to present tonight's man of the match. What a game that young kid had here tonight as they shut down Hanni Muktar and here at Judas Park in Nashville, your sounders get that road results zero zero final between the Rave Green in their Bruce Lee Kids Today and Nashville sc Welcome into the postgame show Jackson, Felts, Bratt Evans peepewing here for the next half hour to break down this game, Brett, let's just start with opening thoughts after

the ninety full Yeah, I think if you're a player on this team or coach or fan, you're happy with that performance. How many times have we seen this team go away from home and kind of bunker down and just absorbed so much pressure. But this was a complete performance. Yeah. You know, we talked about it in at halftime. Was that first part of the first half they were under the gun, but then the Sounders settled into it, got a couple of chances, got more confident, and for some reason,

Nashville took their foot off the gas. And I think that's just a product of the Sounders putting in that extra work. And it seemed like in the second half every bounce went for the Sounders. Yeah, but the only reason that happens is when you're fighting for every single ball, you create your own luck, and that's through hard work. And so there was a bouncing

ball. Everyone's challenging. There's a ball that might be a fifty fifty, you're challenging, and you know, like Reid said, we're in a three game week, and the Sounders left a lot on the field tonight. A lot of guys put in a lot of effort tonight. So it just shows how important this game was. Sometimes as a player, you think, okay, one road game, whatever happened, it's fine, we got two home games in a row. But the Sounders played fantastic tonight. They little,

they left a lot on the field. It's a long flight home, but they'll be able to get their legs underneath them come wins there. I thought they had eight really good chances right right from the beginning. There was a really good ball from Shoe that Christian will rolled on, didn't get on to the end of it in sixteen minutes in and and then Alex had a great shot that went right off Willis's chest. Nico had one that was just wide right, the bender with his left foot, and then the goal called back

Reid Baker Widing I thought was really good today. And we're seeing him, you know, Brian said, I think this morning to us that hey, this kid's gonna be a good MLS player. He showed that tonight a Bear's goal called back right, the one unlucky, Yeah, the one off the bar. Christian had a really good first touch and a rocket just wide riding the goal, and then the ball over the top and one off the bar. So yeah, I think I'm with you, Brad. I think this

was the best performance We've not had a loss in six games. This to me was the best most complete ninety minute performance that I think we've had so far this season, this last six games. And yeah, you know, walking through the games on mind, like thinking about the wins, you know, but Colorado got back in that match after the sixty five minute. This

was ninety minutes. And I mean even like defensively too, there was moments in this game where you know, Hanny Muckdar started to really take over and say, okay, I'm gonna flex my muscles at the MVP and shut him down, just just absolutely gave him no space to cook. Where the game shifted for me was Jackson's tackle in Sudebox on that week away. Yeah, he took the win right out of Nashville Sales. And as a defender, you live, you might you might never get a challenge like that, an

opportunity in another game. The timing of that to say, but probably what would be a goal I mean, he's you know, thirteen yards, that's you know, sitting on the peak spot pretty much. And then Jackson comes in and just crunches him and it doesn't doesn't give him a peak. He

doesn't give up a peak very much. Credit Christian rolled On, because Christian rolled On worked his ass off to get all your fifty yards down the field to make him I forget who that was drop the ball back, but yeah, he makes it, makes him stop there, and that allows Jackson to get in position to the momentum of the whole game shifted at that point. I think the Sounders like, all right, we're in this. We're doing all the things right we need to do. We're making that extra tackle.

If Jackson doesn't give that extra effort, it's a goal. But everyone tracked back on that play and he saved the day on that occasion. And Jackson was fantastic tonight too. All around the field. I mean the Sounders defensively, they have to be really happy with their shape and have but that was the pivotal moment where things started to go in the Sounders favor. And the

crowd was non existent tonight. Yeah they said twenty eight thousand, but I'm not sure about that twenty eight thousand tickets, but yeah, credit to the Sounders. A complete performance tonight and like you said, Pete opportunities to score and Nashville, I remember Steven Fried touch on the ball maybe two or three times in the second half. Yeah, fairly indicative of the Sounders overall tonight. They'll be happy with that one. Singing jingle bills twelve twelve shut out.

Yeah, yeah, no, they It's funny. Michelle said, it sometimes feel like a lost, sometimes feels like a win. This one, to me felt more like a win than it did a tie. I just think that we need going into the playoffs. Three games now, one on the road and two at home. And it's Vancouver, in LA and Saint Louis. These are all West teams. We needed that kind of performance to get that confidence. And even though it's three games in eight days, this

is a great way to start. I wasn't gonna say anything, but since you brought it up. This is a stunning stadium, thirty thousand seat stadium. As Danny was saying, it's it's the biggest soccer specific stadium in North America. It really is a beautiful, beautiful stadium. But man like trick,

where was the crowd tonight? The quiet that there's a band that is right behind the goal in front of the supporter section, and the band is piped into the speaker system here in the stadium, so you know they they they placed the pipe the music in. You know, there's some fans singing, but it just wasn't did a high Look. It was a disappointment that I frankly just watching these fans tonight. But if you're a fan and you come here, you want to watch your team put on a good performance,

and they didn't do it tonight. Look at the sounds right there. It's thirteen shots, the four in favor of the Sounders, and obviously you know Nashville had a little bit more possession, but they didn't do anything with it. So if I'm a fan, I can't stand there for ninety minutes and just seeing yeah and hope you gotta give me something throughout the game and the especially in the second half, they didn't have it. So the sounders took

out the took the crowd out of the game. Sound You're right, that's exactly right. You gotta give the sounders credit. You know that really flipped the last fifteen minutes of the first half and all of a sudden you could see the quality and I think the old Sounders that we know that we're used to started to take over and dominate and it did it silence the crowd and you're right, the tackle, the big tackle like that because and then we

had a couple others. You know, you talk about Luke dar going against Red Baker Whiting. He had one in the second half where Red Baker Whiting had to come from behind and poking out of bounds for a corner kick. Great play and not foul and you know it's a great plays. Dangerous play. Yeah, Jackson Reagan a couple of years ago was given up peks right, and now he's not doing it. It was a great performance with I think we need to talk about Nico tonight. Let's take up breaking, Let's

talk about Nicholas Ladero. We have a lot to get to you here in the postmatch show zero zero Sounders get their result on the road six Unbeaten. his feet, cuts back and a great challenge by Jackson Reagan. He came back, he saw the danger and he tackled Chaffel bugger remains on the deck. Wonderful challenge by the Sea Apple sound to send it back. I mean that is a game saving tackle from Jackson Reagan. That was as good of a goal for the Sounders. As good as a goal for the Sounders in this zero zero draw tonight here at Judas Park in Nashville, Tennessee. That

is our Emerald Queen Casino Play of the match. A breakaway from Nashville as you heard their Jackson Reagan Christian roll down, hustling their butts back and they stopped Nashville from scoring. The Play of the Match is presented by Emerald Queen Casino, the betting capitol over the Northwest, and we spent a few minutes. But just to wrap up back conversation, I mean that play right there, it really shifted it. Brady mentioned the entire momentum. I was actually

listening to the Nashville commentators in the second half. At the start of the second half, they were still talking about that moment and just lamenting, Oh what could have been? And then you know you can just you feel in their voices and it translated to the actions on the field. Yeah, I think as a player, I said it before, but that is a dream as a defender, right As an attacker, you want the ball that's balancing just outside the box and you catch it on the half volley. That's what

you dream of as an attacker. As a defender, that's what you dream of. A crunching tackle. You go home happy, you get the shut out, most importantly, and you know, Stephen Fries the first one to step up and say that's fantastic, thank you, thank thank you, thank you for getting back. Yeah, no question, Yeah it was. I played with the Jeff Durgan right now and actually Brian Schmetster will love this. We're playing Santos Pele's old team and we win to one and Schmetz scores both

goals and Jeff Durgan had a tackle. The next day in the in the locker room, Bruce Rioch, coach arsenal right, he's this guy's been around. He says, what changed the game, and we're like Brian's goal, first goal, second goal, there's no it's the tackle. And because at that point Santos said, we did not come here that we don't want to

write. And I'll tell you what. Jackson Reagan, he came all the way through and there was no qualms about you know, you didn't see any of the Nashville players pointing to the penalty spot saying, hey, that's penalty. It was just you're right. He was teed up and you could not make a mistake. And Jackson Reagan, you know a couple of years ago that might have been a penalty kick. So you are right, though, Brad, you played right and you've seen it. That was a turning point.

Well, i'll tell you. Sounders FC Soccer is presented by Providence, Swedish official healthcare partner of Sounders FC. Let's talk about where we left off in the previous segment, which is Nicholas Ladero, because he's starting Albert Russnach out tonight with the illness. If you didn't hear, Jordan Morris remained in Seattle after the birth of his child. So congratulations to Jordan in the entire Morris family. But Nicholas Ladero starts plays the number ten spot plays what ninety

minutes almost exactly. Brad, how do you think Nico did? Yeah? I thought he was a nine out of ten tonight and there's not much more that he could have done. I mean, we already talked about he's not the player that he used to be, but this is more. Today was more. Tonight was more indicative of the Nico that we've seen in the past. He controlled the pace, he dictated tempo, He made it just about all the right passes. The service was pretty good tonight, better than I

think it has been in the past. And he was motivated tonight, right, and he's getting into the crowd, right. He tried to dry off the soccer ball, he threw it in, he missed it, and then you know the crowd's giving him stick, and so you know he's in it. He's feeling passionate and he should be really happy with that performance. And I think all the guys felt that around him. And I think ed Bear plays very good with Nico actually, because Ed Bear is the type of player

that wants to just hold up the ball. He will say hi for Nico so that he can connect and just bounce passes off of him. Bear makes it very predictable for Nico when when they're both out there. So I thought, I thought Nico was fantastic tonight. Credit to him, because that's that's tough. Anytime you dropped from a lineup, you give up captain c Where am I at with my contract? And I think he showed that he played for the badge tonight, and that's really important. Yeah, no question.

And he did what we had talked about before the game. He stayed somewhat central, right, and when he was most effective it was because he was central, and he did serve in some really good balls. You know, he with one pass he can change a game. He had the cross that Seattle almost got the header on to flick to flick on, and he had the shot that was honestly a foot wide made so and then he you're right, it was interesting because you said to me about twenty minutes into the game,

Bread he had only had maybe two touches on the ball. But then as the game went on, I'll bet he had I don't know, maybe forty touches by thirty touches by the end of it. But he started dictating everything and picking things up and picking apart. I'll tell you what, Seattle took the wind out of Nashville's sales today, and it was because of the way they played defensively but also on the offensive side. Absolutely, they got

that big moment there. As you've heard that. Jackson Reagan Christian rolled on to shut down that national breakaway and Sounder has come away with a zero zero draw. Well, Delta Airlines is product to doing it. One soccer ball for every mile ran by Sounders se players this season their Ray Foundations one Mile, one Ball program. I'll quickly tell you right now, for the moment, Seattle's in second place in the Western Conference. They're a point above LAFC.

LAFC plays Real Salt Lake tomorrow. Situation with that game. If RSL wins, they jump to second place. If laf C wins, they jump to second place. If it's a draw, LAFC jump to second place. So after tomorrow the Sounders will be back in third. That's the situation as it stands right now. But for the moment, we get to enjoy being in second in terms of what we have coming up for the Sounders it is two matches, both at home this week. First up, we'll care about

the first game and then we'll worry about Saturday on Wednesday. Because the Wednesday matches will be hosting the La Galaxy. It'll be a seven o'clock Providence, Swedish prematch show seven thirty kickoff. You can listen to that match over on our other station, ninety three point three KGRFM as Sounders FC Soccer goes to the FM on Wednesday, you know, so watch the match via MLS Season

Pass on the Apple tvp or l A thirteen sixty in Spanish. Busy week ahead, Brad, Obviously you're probably gonna see a little bit of rotation, but what do you expect for it from the club here on Wednesday Coast La. Yeah, it's a quick turnaround, but it's one where these guys got to pick up points at home because, like you said, it is still

really really tight and you're fighting now for positioning. You want to big of an advantage going into the final game of the season at Saint Louis that maybe that game doesn't even matter, right, If you can pick up six points in the next two you're not gonna catch Saint Louis, but you could solidify second place at that point. So you want to give yourself a big buffer

heading into that last game. And yeah, it'd be cool if we went into Saint Louis and it's got this big occasion and we're fighting with other teams. But get the job done early so you don't have to do it. Maybe you can rest guys as you enter the playoffs. You also want playoff positioning. So it all starts on Wednesday night. These guys will be rare and to go. We'll get a couple of guys back healthy, probably back into the lineup, and so that's I think why the Sounders put so much

effort into tonight. A lot of those guys put a lot of effort in that hadn't played many minutes, knowing that they'll probably be on the bench and play as a sub on Wednesday night. You cannot look past lay. They are in thirteenth place right now, they're eight, eleven and eleven. Greg Vanny, you know, led Toronto to an MLS Cup, is pulling his

hair out there. There's frustration with the fan base and all that they've had their share of injuries, but you know, Colorado is the only team behind them, and we had a little bit of a difficult time with Colorado. We let him back in the game after you know, two zero lead, and so to end up two to one. So you can't look past La and right, I think you're right, because the next one's Vancouver and that's going to be that has implications for both squads. So go get the three

points at Los Angeles at home versus Los Angeles. Man, if you can put them away early and you can get more guys on the field, that would be phenomenal for Seattle. So it's a quick turnaround. But it's Saturday, not Sunday today, Right, they'll get back, We'll get back tonight and they'll get a chance to get their legs right. So if they got

if they can get that three points, I agree with you. If they can get that, and then going to Saint Louis where it's kind of an on factor, you can't catch them, but you can stay in second. Then Seattle's crazy, crazy because we're so critical of this team, the fan base is so critical of this team, and my expectations. Yeah, and look where it is right now, and there is a chance that we could end up second hosting games in a great spot going into the playoffs. Absolutely

well, your sounders. A result on the road. Here's zero zero the final here at beautiful Judas Park here in Nashville, Tennessee. It's been wonderful to be here all all over the last couple of days.
