Hey, what's up, everyone? Welcome to another episode of the Soundless FC podcast. Myself, Steve Zakwani, Brad Evans is here as well. Keeley also is here. The Sounders go to Colorado this weekend, but last weekend, best game of the season so far, result-wise for sure. I didn't watch it live. I've watched it since.
in its totality. So I have some comments on that as well. But before that, we had a birthday this past week. I'm not there yet. It's not even a normal birthday. It's a big 4-0. It's a big one. It's like these milestones birthday. Not leading up to it, but looking back now, the past couple days, I'm not one to receive gifts or take a vacation. you know was convinced that it's it's time to go went to arizona for a couple days and it's just with family and uh
It's not necessarily, it's just not about you. It's more about the people that want to celebrate you. And I've always been really bad at that. So I really tried to just accept this past weekend. And it was really, really nice. So family made it amazing. Pool. Um, got some like really awesome gifts if I'm being selfish, like amazing, blew my mind. And it's just, yeah. And so. I give gifts as like a show of my thing, right? But receiving them is really hard.
I'm quite similar with that. Receiving accolades, whatever it is. Maybe that's just the humbleness of an athlete. It's team, team, team. That's how I've always been. Certain athletes in certain sports. Well, that's true. Certain athletes in certain sports. Yes, you're right. There are those that are happy to receive and gloat all the time. So it was just really cool to like take a breath and just like accept what had happened, which was really, really cool. And then...
Dude, I played two games last night and I can't breathe. I don't know how you do it. I don't know how I did it either. But turning 40, I do get to go today to go pick up a sleep apnea test that I wear tonight. So that's 40 is what you're looking forward to.
So that's going to be fun. You get one of those like sleep masks. It's not like that intense. It's actually like a really simple thing, but it's like 90% accurate. So you pick it up, wear it tonight, drop it off tomorrow morning. And then it's, yeah, they give you some results. I think my heart stops in my sleep now, so I've got to figure out a solution to not sleeping great. 40. 40, big one. Stephen Fry, too. Birthday was on Sunday, same day.
But he's what? He's a year younger. He's fighting that year. Yeah, he's a year younger. I always forget. Yeah, Steph, yeah. Because I came out the same year as Steph, but I was a sophomore. So he would have been a couple years ahead of me. Wow. That's so strange, Steve. I think of you as being so much younger for some reason. I know. I don't know why. Me as well. Yeah. Me too. I'm almost there. I'm not there yet, but I'm almost there.
Big win, obviously. Massive. And I think it's one of those, when I first, i had the opposite effect i usually have normally i'm doing the games i just saw the score and then read the stat sheet you don't always get the feel for the game that way then i watched it and it was good but um Misowski scoring again which is good Pedro on the score sheet and then Rough Rock doing well as well the job was done after 35 minutes was game over for the most part what did you most like about this and was this
to do with the Sounders or was it a poor Nashville yeah well I don't I don't know Steph had to make a couple saves in the first half and so I just think it was a well-rounded game from the Sounders good goalkeeping you know good defending against I mean That front three from Nashville can be very dangerous, especially Mukhtar and Surridge. They've found their way into the back of the net this season, even with some up and down results.
It was just the Sounders were hungrier and better on the day. And it goes back to that Dallas game of just getting that win off your back. Then you have confidence. You're at home. You're playing kind of a mid-afternoon game. And like you said, once you put the ball in the back of the net at home, it should be game over. And it was. But you look at the lineup and you saw our bench and that was probably the most impressive thing. And those guys coming off the bench and...
kind of leads into this next week of what the Sounders are going to do with a group that's won two games in a row, right? What are they going to do? What is Schmetz? How is he going to manage this group, this group of players? Musovsky scored, Rothrock scored, but you saw glimpses of how competitive that this squad is right now. Yeah, yeah.
It's just interesting to think back, you know, six weeks ago and you're thinking if Jordan comes off the bench or gets hurt, who's going to go up top? Is it going to be Jesus? Are you going to try Georgie up top, which they did? And then all of a sudden, you bring on Danny. He had a couple half chances in multiple games. He could have seven goals this season already, realistically, if he had his goal score and touch and confidence. But now he's got two and two.
And, you know, it'll be hard to change. But we'll see. We'll see what the Sounders do this weekend. But going back to that one, massive win at home. The crowd was great. And you just can't say enough about a Sounders team that kind of put their head down and just gave that extra 10% to push them past, you know, a decent Nashville side. On Pedro, yeah, I think...
Almost going back to the end of last season, most of what I've seen this season, obviously the injuries haven't helped his time here at all. I think he's been getting clearly better and better every game. And we're kind of seeing him kind of come into his own. I'm still going to say, though, is this what he is? Like, oh, are we still saying, oh, give him six months healthy and then we'll see. Or is this kind of like, he's really good. But this is what we've seen.
What pitch was going to be? No, I think he can be better. I think he could be more clinical. I think he could provide more assists. And he's only going to build in confidence if he stays healthy. And a young player like that, I don't think he's thinking, I'm Sounders for 10 years. No. He's thinking Sounders for two years, maybe another year, and then if I do well, I'm gone. And so we're yet to see the best out of him. I haven't seen him.
take over a game per se and that's the level that he has to get to if a team is going to come and spend you know 10 11 million bucks on him he's going to have to be the guy who a scout comes between 22 players on the field and in the first 10 minutes be like that that's the guy yeah right it hasn't happened just yet there's been glimpses of it and yes he can do it
Now can you do it for 90 minutes over a three or four or five-month stretch? You have to be the best player on the field in almost every single game. And that's what he has to be. He can be, but we're still going to have to wait. and see if we can see the best. I think you said that. I think taking over a game. I think that's, yeah. And a big game. Because we remember Raul for...
his record against Portland, for example. Those are the names where Clint would show up or Nico in the playoffs. So I think you're right. But to your point, The team is playing well, a couple of big results. Jordan's healthy. Albert's healthy. This is now... It's the problem Schmetz wants to have. Yeah. Because... no way you're taking me out like I'm a striker I'm scoring if I'm Jordan it's like I need to get my run as well so
Schmetz isn't a Belva. He has just choices to make this weekend. Well, this is what he wanted, but he wanted it reversed. Yeah. He wanted every single player healthy, but those guys to be the starters in being healthy and fit. Now it's like, oh boy, I got everyone healthy. What am I going to do? I mean, you saw it last week. He kept those guys on the bench. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same thing this weekend. They always say you can't change a winning team.
Why? Yeah, it doesn't make sense, right? Yeah. So I could see it. And you go to Colorado. It's a difficult place to play. Is it better to have a Jordan on the bench in Colorado that plays, you know, maybe if it's just 45 minutes? Maybe Mussovsky gets a goal. Halftime come off. Okay, great shift. 45 minutes. You busted it. Bring on Jordan for 45. Go ahead. And then you still have Georgie. You still have Ryan Kent. You still have...
Our true number 10, who should be there, and Albert coming off the bench. you can pretty much make a swap of four for four at any moment. And if you're a defense and you're thinking, hey, swap these guys four for four, you think, oh, boy, we're in for one today. But also on the flip side, Colorado's thinking if the Sounders field the same lineup,
we have to get on top of them early and make them pay, right? Because if they get four, five, six corner kicks in a row and the Sounders are under the gun defensively making the Sounders defend,
It's a completely different game. Then you lose that threat with Jordan away from home and just being able to lump the ball forward and getting in behind. So Schmetz is going to have his, in the next day or two, his work cut out for him. There's choices to make. You mentioned him there, new signing, Ryan Kahn. I know, Keeley, you are.
higher name um i just like that his name is r kent okay ted lasso fan man okay but he looked really great in those couple minutes he was in that's what i wanted to bring up um
I mean, no real expectations, right, on him. Kind of like just come in and if we get something, wow. And ease into the team, which is a good thing. He's not brought here to be a world beater. Just enter the team, get sparing minutes here and there, and then... right get your feet i just talked to andy rose and he's like this this guy's gonna be a player yeah and so he just needs to get his feet underneath him he's also a guy who's come over here for the first time
i think still living in a hotel you're not settled it takes time you gotta get you you know it's tough to get a place to get furnished he's got to find a furnished place and it's tough so I think we'll see the best out of him in the next couple, maybe month, month and a half. But still, that guy off the bench, I mean.
Yeah. He's going to be great for the squad. Suddenly, with all the injuries we had, the kind of doom and gloom results where I'm going, well, he's looking good, but it is a busy May. I'm looking here, so send us at home. Houston on the road, LAFC on the road, Portland on the road, Dallas at home, San Diego at home. So it is, again, no month is that defining. This will be, I think, I mean, you got to look at the LAFC away, Portland away, tough ones. Houston's always a tough place to go.
The home games, winnable. But those free away games, if you get a couple results there. You really shoot up the table. Everyone's healthy. Then you're flying into the summer months now. I mean, this was a squad that was 1-3-3 a couple weeks ago. And we were saying, oh, boy. I talked to Chris Cornish, too. And that's what he said. And then it's like, well, we're 3-3-3 now. And he just said, this is what we always do.
And that's the trainer that has been here since 2009. He's seen everything. He's seen the locker room. He's seen the trainer's room. He knows the feel, the vibe. Unfortunately, fortunately, the Sounders do typically find themselves able to get results. when they need it most. But this will be a tough one, right? You go to Colorado at altitude. It's a team who's gotten decent crowds this year as well. And they've won four games. Yeah, they've won four games.
They've got Josh Atencio who's starting for them. They're athletic. They're really a danger at home, and they've always been that way. We've always typically beat Colorado here. but at home is just another tough place to play. So I think for the Sounders, though, you go to Salt Lake, that was difficult for the team. Okay, what did we do wrong that we could change in our approach to going to a place in altitude against a team that plays pretty similar?
I think for the Sounders, they have to play extremely strong defensively. Kim Keehee will still be in the lineup. Jackson's out for an extended period of time. So you're getting consistency with the back line. And really, I think you keep five at home for the better part of it and just negate everything. And then it's about playing out of tight spaces. If the Sounders can break one or two lines in our defensive third,
then you can keep possession in the attacking half. And that's something that didn't happen in Salt Lake. It seemed like Salt Lake, every time the Sounders pumped the ball forward, Salt Lake were first and they were second. So if you're not going to win the first one, you've got to win the second one. I think it may have been good for them to get their tail whipped in a place at altitude and now go again to Colorado and hopefully have learned from that experience.
Yeah, and one of the good things as well, after the disaster in San Diego, is you turn it around with a couple of clean sheets as well. Because it's been the bread and butter we've said the last couple of years. We didn't spend much time talking about...
changing anything defensively, but it hasn't been that good to start the year. Little mistakes here and there, you know, giving up set-piece goals, own goals. Uncharacteristic mistakes. Yeah, it hasn't been clean. Then the last two games, you kind of get back to what we do defensively, you know, four goals for, zero goals against. I don't know that Schmitz thinks like this, but I know Ziggy a bit more would say it. Sometimes I knew we went on the road.
And we were like, a draw's a good result. We'd think that. This game for me screams, you don't want to lose this game. I think it's winnable, 100%. But at the least, you leave there with something. You've got to get this one with something. It's a West Coast opponent. If you look at the roster, it's not amazing from Colorado. They do have a couple of Mihaljevic's.
I would love to see him here. He's a phenomenal player. That team goes wherever he goes. So if you can negate him, it'll be a good day for the Sounders. But you talk about a guy like Kim Keehee stepping into – we haven't even spoken about him, but that's the type of defender you want to talk about. A guy that you don't even mention. It's like he's not even on the field because – You don't have to. You don't have to talk about him. He's just doing his job, right?
You could say, yeah, he had a great game, but I don't think Kim Kihee has ever had Did you play with him? No. But I don't think he's ever had an amazing game. He's always just consistent. Steady. And you don't have to say, oh, he should have done this, should have done that. It always seems like the decision-making is spot on. I mean, that's competition right there. You like the back three.
Do I like playing in a back three? Or this team in a back three? Well, no. No. You don't think they're eventually going to go back to the 4-2? No, I don't think they'll eventually go back there. But to keep the guys on the field that they need to have, they're going to have to play three in the back. Have to, right? I think so. Yeah.
I just think that's how it's going to have to be moving forward. I don't, even with my high school team, we play with a box in the midfield with almost six going across. We play three in the back and a striker. And even then I'm like, I just. I like to have safety in numbers and cover whenever I need it.
But the Sounders, I mean, they've done it before. They've done it in years past. Yeah. You know, the only thing that worries you is a result like San Diego where they don't get it done. Yeah. And a game like. St. Louis. Yeah, Jackson makes a mistake and slips for that goal or whatever it may be, but maybe if he had four in the back and had cover and felt like he had cover, maybe it's not as an urgent play as it might be with three in the back. You're taking away a defender at the end of the day.
If you're playing against San Diego, it scares me. If you're playing against a 4-5-1 or even 4-2-3-1, not as much. There's very different lineups and approaches. to counter every argument. One player who hasn't got off the mark, and I'm not a stats guy, I don't think it's just goals, goals, goals, but what have you made
of Jesus the last couple games as the team's winning. I know Dallas was probably a bit weird for him. Yeah. I felt like I could tell kind of a bit weird him going back there. He's such a big name there, big presence. probably their most successful Academy product, one of them at least in the last few years. It just seemed like it was tough to go back home. You know, yes. And I think for, so I'm trying to, Think about like a Ryan Kent, for example, where a bit of a journeyman.
So he can throw on a jersey and go out and perform on any team, right? Exactly. And now you take a young Jesus who's been in one place his entire life. His dad was there. Yeah, his dad was there. There's a legacy. And now you're saying, hey, we need you to go be the guy at...
the biggest team in the Western Conference, right? That's got to be tough when you really think about it in that pressure that you might not even think about. So I still think it's going to take time for Jesus to really wear the badge with pride. And, you know, for Jordan, he grew up here. Goal celebration has always been pointing at the logo, and he knows what it is, right? And it takes players a while to get into having that feeling of this is my club.
I'm the man at the club and I'm playing for the city. I just don't think he's there yet. And when you have that confidence in the backing of the city and you feel like you're rooted in something, I think you see better performances out of players. He's still yet to get there. Has he been good? Yes. You can see the quality of passes in the movement. You can see it. Now it's about piecing the whole thing together. And again, a guy like Pedro where he needs to take over a game. He has it in him.
Yeah, it needs a goal. I think that just, it changes so much, man. It's so hard. So you think if we get a PK, he takes it? if I'm him I'm taking it yeah if I'm him I'm like I just need to get one because it just takes so much off your mind and then you just feel like okay I can remember when I went to Portland and wasn't scoring at all in the league was barely playing to be honest but wasn't scoring then we went to like
I don't know, Antigua or Guyana for like a Champions League. And I'm like, I'm playing. I said to him, we're the second team. And I scored. I knew they weren't going to be good. So I'm like, I want to score. And just seeing the ball hit the back of the net, it just puts you in a different place as a player. And I think for him, he's someone who can get double-digit goals and still can this season, right, across all competitions at least. So I think a goal is important.
If we're getting that Areola's out now, he would have been a big help during this period. You've done it kind of without... Your two guys, you know what you get from Jordan, what you get from Albert. And you've won a couple of games without really relying on them. And other guys are showing that they can step up. So I think that's what we want to see from this team. And it's rounding out quite well. So I would say that this weekend isn't a must win. It's a must not lose. Just get something.
And then going to May, those five, six games I mentioned in May, really two massive away games, LAFC Portland. three winnable home games. I think you can, at the end of May, you can be in a very strong position. Yeah. And be like, okay, we're where we want it to be. Now we've got the other competitions coming. Well, look, results in this conference are who knows who's winning on any single day, right? So... It is there for the Sounders to take a couple steps forward.
And who knows, with results, you might find yourself in fifth place at the end of the weekend, possibly. And that has to be the mentality and the approach. So you could go from eighth place. If results go your way, you're tied for third, fourth, fifth with 15, 16 points, whatever it may be. So it's not a stretch to say, you know, like you said, by the end of May, you could be right up there. No problem.
teams ahead of you. You're playing San Diego, you're playing LAFC, you're playing Portland. It kind of is in your hands at that point. You've got to take advantage. I'm Kaylee Broadcast. Yep, we're on 93.3 this weekend. And a fun fact, every former MLS player who is on our home radio broadcast at some point played for the Colorado Rapids. So Marcus played before MLS or maybe the first year of MLS. I think.
96. Yeah, he was in the 90s. I googled this before he went to Europe. I remember talking to him about it. James is from there, but didn't play there until towards the end. After, yeah, towards the end. After Galaxy, I think. After Galaxy. And then Kellen Rowe was there for 24 hours. He was traded and then untraded. But hey, technically I was right. So they were all on it. And then Danny Jackson on the call, USL legend, Sanders legend, obviously. You're right.
Apple TV Plus also. We're on Apple TV Plus and MLS Season Pass, which means if you have Apple TV but not MLS Season Pass, it is free to watch. Yes, you can watch that way. I was at a job. shadowing thing with the sounders today down at chief leshy yeah with the high schoolers today and that was really cool so five people from the front office down there asking questions about in high school what do you wish you would have done better yeah and i was just telling the group you you just
even in this moment sports also you can't have any what-ifs right and so i know you're sitting here and it's hard to pay attention but yeah you're gonna want to absorb something from these talks that you can take into the next level because
I have no college degree. Yeah, neither do I. You have no college degree. And we're still both asking, hey, what are we going to do with the rest of our lives? But if we had had that early on, I think one of our ticket sales guys said, i got a question so how many of you have linkedin and like four kids had raised their hand and then he said how many of you have snapchat instagram and everyone raised their hand
Now, you imagine if that was kind of flipped. If you were in high school and had started to be a part of clubs and built your LinkedIn and started emailing Keeley or whomever it is just to have the conversation. how you can set yourself up for the next level so it was good it was a big job fair also so that was neat and then tomorrow morning
Lindbergh High School and be part of a panel there too. And then Tiffany Park Elementary. And then there's a YMCA Healthy Kids Day on Saturday. I think it's probably free to sign up if you check out on the internet. Is it in Seattle? It's in Seattle, yeah. Yeah, so that'll be a good time. Amazing. All right, Sounders fans, I am here with Alondra, who's with Para Los Niños de Highline. Will you first of all tell us your full name and how long you've been with Para Los Niños de Highline?
Yeah, thank you. My name is Alondra Gonzalez Orozco and I've been with Para Los Niños for almost three years. What is Para Los Niños? Will you give our fans like a big breakdown of what goes on, maybe how it got started? and what you guys do in the community. Yeah, so Para Los Niños has been around for over 20 years and it started with a group of parents who wanted to give more academic support to other kids and their kids in the neighborhood.
So we are a non-profit focused in Buriant and we work with kids and families within the Highland School District and we have various programs from being the youth organizers so I do a lot of after school programs with high school students. We have Aprendamos Juntos where parents can come and learn English level one or two while they're with their kids who are in grades K through eight. and we teach them in Spanish. Sports, science, different activities. We have other group programs where
Parents come who have kids from 0 to 5, that age range. We have classes that we offer for kids at that age from Monday through Thursday at our offices. coding for kids, we have computer classes for adults level one and two, along with other workshops and things like that. Sounds like it's a full service program for the community. About how many students and families do you guys think you're servicing? For sure, over 150 families.
They are spread out through the various programs and throughout the years. Since we do have like year-round programs, we have just summer programs. So we do have families that filter throughout the year. but we also have families who when they were younger they would come to our programs.
Now they come with their kids. So it's a cycle where the families continue to come to our programs. It's almost like a generational thing, right? They know that the service is there, the help is there, community is there, whatever you need. And so it's just that.
filtering in of the next generation that's really cool so super super impactful next question would be what is your favorite thing then is it is it Seeing new family members come into the mix when people have kids and grandkids and you kind of see that. multi-generational family come through? Is it just a specific program that you enjoy? What is your favorite part? I like all of it. It's really well-rounded, I think, but my favorite part is working with the youth.
I work with high schoolers and it's always nice seeing they start coming in as either 9th or 12th graders into our programs usually. They're really shy, but over time they're able to come out of their shell. get out of their comfort zone, and they become leaders within our community. So the last question would be, how can Sounders fans support Para Los Niños? Something the Sounders fans can help us is obviously supporting us. We have something that's called Madrina and Padrinos.
um on our website and they just a donation of an x amount of money they like to do to donate and that goes to all of our programs and is spread out. to different resources that we might need in our offices as well as we have our gala that is once a year. And so we have those opportunities where people can come and support as well. We always are willing to take in the summer.
people who are interested in volunteering, helping us with sports, with arts, coding and things like that. So we're always welcoming in new resources that we can then provide too. our families, our youth, different workshops, mental health workshops and things like that.
Yeah, so that's community. Community, what's going on? Pretty cool. We've got over-unders from our office and broadcast assistant, Jordan Thompson. She always does these because she's better at them than I am. Let's see. Let me go to the Slack channel. Okay. Over under, Josh Atencio shots versus former club. Because Josh Atencio is on the rapids. He's going to be there in a fly.
Oh, my God. Wow. Her over-under was .5, so you're taking the way over. I'll take the over. I'm going over. Yeah, one and a half. He's going to hit someone. Josh is going to be motivated. It's going to be good to see him. Seeing him against Obed is very good. Yeah, actually seeing them. Who Obed is making his...
100th appearance across all competitions. Crazy man. Wow. Crazy man. Which is insane. I don't know how many more we have from him to be honest because I'm just listening to him. He's so good. Let's enjoy him because I don't know how many more he's going to give us. He's so good and I love how good he is and how everyone recognizes it and he's like a defensive central midfielder like that's really cool he's a special player
All right. This is more of a season one. Steph cleans sheets in regular season, over under 11.5. He had 11 in 2024, and he's had two clean sheets in the last three. So is he going to have more? Can he get nine more? Yes, he can. Yeah, I think so too. Yes, he can. Over? Over. We'll have some good shout outs. Yes, he can. Two overs? Yeah. All right. And then last one. How many goals is Danny Masovsky going to score? Over under .5. Can he make it 3-3? I'm going to go the under.
because i think it'll be like a one nil win or so but i think you'll come late yeah he'll be off the pitch That's a good production. I'll take the over. I think he's going to sneak off a corner kick. He's going to be knocked down. He's at the back post and just tap it in.
I would love to see it. I saw a question that I wanted to ask you. It was a great question, I felt. It said, you always have the debates about, I want to bring it to MLS and maybe Sounders. It might not apply. Kind of who's at the best, the goal, they say, greatest of all time. Who in any sport can we say is the undisputed goal? And it's no argument that there is no second.
For example, I would say Serena Williams in women's tennis. Oh, that's a good one. I don't think you can have a debate. She's number one and second isn't close. I can't say Michael Jordan because they spend every day arguing him or the bro. So as much as someone might think so, I can't say Messi because they spent the last 15 years arguing him or Ronaldo. And you can pick either way. Does MLS have one of those?
And does the sounders do? I don't think the sounders do, in my opinion. I think there's too much debate. And when I'm thinking of MLS, I don't know, that can say someone is that undisputed. Like Wayne Gretzky, maybe. In hockey. Yeah, but Ovechkin, didn't he just beat his record? The goals. Yeah, the goals record, not assists. And then there's also Bobby Orr, who's like the defensive player in hockey. But Wayne Gretzky really is the guy. Without argument. Because tennis, Djokovic, but.
I can say Nadal had a run. Federer had a run. And all three at the same time. At the same time. Djokovic came out on top eventually, but there's an argument. Is Hamilton considered? of his generation yeah but before that Schumacher people are going to argue yeah there's going to be an argument for that and I mean I know Max Verstappen would argue now right now that he's the best people will say Lee and boxing but people argue that all the time
Yeah, that's a tough one too. Individual sports might be easier than team. I don't know. Simone Biles. Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps. Michael Phelps, for sure. Phelps is a boat by far. He was killing everyone. He won three Olympics back-to-back. Yeah, it's easier for individual athletes than for a team sport, I think. I think Messi, in my personal opinion, but for me, it's not close. But that's just for me.
Yeah, I was thinking like there's a very few who really separate themselves and you can't argue. You can't. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. We got to marinate this one and bring it back. Yeah. Yeah. Make your list. Yeah. Yeah. What about like greatest, like goat of Seattle sports? Just like all of the Seattle sports. Seapersonics, Gary Payton, Sean Kemp. Anyone with Seahawks? Sue Bird's got to be up. 100%.
I mean, when it's all said and done, eventually... Ken Griffey Jr. Oh, yeah, he's... How do I ever forget Ken Griffey? Ichiro. Yeah, he's also Edgar Martinez. I think Russell Wilson, for me, that run they had, but for me, it didn't end well, but that run was special. I mean, Megan Rapinoe. So many good ones. I mean, yeah, it depends. Yeah, I don't know. Seattle sports is tough. Yeah. Brianna Stewart.
She won two championships. We could just keep going forever, man. There's so many good ones. There's so many good ones. We'll circle back on that one. If you guys have any questions or opinions on who you think, make sure to call into our number. Mount Rushmore might be easier because then you can do four. True. Mount Rushmore's a bit easier, but Sounders don't have... it that's for sure because i i think of three or four names right away
You can make an argument either way. Then you can even go to other areas. Yeah, totally. I have another question, and I'm stealing this from the Sounders social team. I don't know who came up with it, but it was really funny, and I watched it on Instagram. Who do you guys think of the guys that you've played with? would make the best referee and the worst referee.
The worst referee would be Leo Gonzalez. He would cheat in everything. If he had any slight preference, he wouldn't hesitate to cheat. I think the best referee would be Tyson Wall. Just straight-edged. Just by the book. Everything by the book. Warm-up perfect. Doing push-ups, crunches in the hotel room.
Yeah. That's your rule follower. I would say Tyson first. I'll go Nico second because he's stamina. He'll be everywhere. He won't miss a call. That's true. He'll be getting there. He'll be like five yards away from everything because he runs all day. But Tyson's a great shot. current players or whatever.
the guys on the Sounders that knew who would make the worst. I mean, of course, that he would make the worst referee. He's not going to run around. He'd be still swinging his hands up. 50 yards away from every play. Yeah, there's no chance. Just like constantly blowing his whistle the entire time. I love it. All right. Well, Sounders.
