Sabrina Carmen - Dreaming Wide Awake

Los Angeles based alt-dream pop artist and songwriter, Sabrina Carmen, is combining cinematic pop with a moody soundscape in her latest single, "Dreaming Wide Awake". Along with co-writers and co-producers, Rebecca McBride, Rebekah Wilbur, Jamie Miller and Matt Richert, we get to learn more about how this song was crafted online via Zoom and how there were a few different versions before landing on the final production that features a cinematic build. We also learn more about the inspiration of the lyrics which explores escapism, transcendence, and brings the magic of the dream world into one's waking reality while also leaving room for the audience to come up with their own perspective.
