Episode 4: Mac DeMarco

Mac DeMarco is a Canadian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He was born in Duncan, British Columbia and grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. The 33-year old has been dubbed "the laid-back prince of indie rock" since his debut record in 2012. He is a creative innovator and is prolific in producing and releasing songs. DeMarco's latest release is a 199-song collection of ideas, riffs and songs called One Wayne G. Nadine Smith from Pitchfork writes, "While One Wayne G might look like a disposable afterthought, all unfinished drafts and near-identical file names, it’s hardly arbitrary or accidental."
