Youngmin Park is a painter from Seoul, currently working and living in New York. Her works explore the unstoppable and competitive struggle within the vertical system through different forms of life. Elements such as power, movement, and consumption are shown through the tense relationships between the figures. Dislocated from their original functions, everyday beings build new meanings in the obscurely flattened world.
Youngmin (b.1997) received her BFA from Korea National University of Arts and is about to receive her MFA at Columbia University.
