It's time to get solar powered. This is the solar powered podcast. I'm Ryan Hall from Royal Hearts Coaching, royal hearts coaching dot com, life and relationship coaching for kings. And I want everybody, and I do mean to everybody, listening to my voice right now to do me a huge favor. Take a deep, meaningful breath. In through your nose, hold, and then out through your nose. It's best to do that with your eyes closed, but if you're driving at the moment, I don't suggest that. No kidding.
On today's episode, I wanted to talk about fear because even the most solar powered men and women in this world can be afraid. We can all be afraid. We're we can all be afraid. We can all be scared and worried and upset about what's going on in the world. We can all be afraid. All of us. But How we handle that fear, how we deal with that fear, how we process that fear is what helps us remain solar powered and committed to living that solar powered life. I have a bit of a confession to make.
Technically, I mean, for all intents and purposes, I am homeless at the moment. I'm living in a hotel. I have eaten. I have, you know, showered. I have a roof over my head. I'm sleeping in a bed under a blanket. I am okay. But for all intents and purposes, I am homeless right now. And I managed just a little over a week ago, I managed to create some real magic. I managed to create some real magic or so I thought. I got hired for a full time job.
A full time job with an incredible company, a company which I have worked for before, but a full time job. Just a day ago, I was set to go through the onboarding process to start the the background check and the, you know, paperwork to get paid, that kind of thing. But I received a phone call stating that the company has put a hiring freeze out, which meant that I can't move forward right now. And I think everybody knows why. I think everybody knows why.
Unless you've been living under a giant rock, The human race is under attack. The human race is at war. Let's make no mistake about this. The human race is at war. We are under attack by an un by an unseen enemy. Everything Everything has been shut down. Restaurants are going to close and go out of business. Big businesses are going to lose everything. People are going to wind up broke, unemployed, homeless. This is we are at war. Let's make no mistake about this. We are at war.
And when human beings go to war, we start to freak out. I mean, if you know of anybody who fought in Vietnam, who fought in, you know, Iraq, Afghanistan, or even your grandparents who might have fought in Korea or in World War 2. Ask them about their experience in combat. Ask them about their experience with bullets and bombs going off all around them. My grandfather was a World War 2 vet. My grandfather fought in the South Pacific and was wounded in action.
I think it took him a long time to to speak about his wartime experience. Hell, my other grandfather fought in Korea with a navy man. I did not know that he fought. I did not know that he served until the day of his funeral. I honestly did not know he was a veteran until the day of his funeral. People generally don't like to talk about their experience in war.
And I don't really know, like, I don't really know if if any of us are going to are going to want to speak about our experiences in this war. Make no mistake about it. We are all at war right now. All you know, the human race is at war right now, And we are all scared. We are absolutely terrified. We're freaking out. We really are, man. We are freaking out. We're scared. We're we're we're hurting. I'm hurting. I am absolutely hurting right now. But it doesn't have to be like this.
It does not have to be like this. Suffering is optional. Always has been. Suffering is optional. It is terrifying. It is worrisome. It is upsetting. But we don't have to keep living like this. We absolutely don't have to keep living like this. So how do we stop it? How do we move forward? How do we how do we keep living? How do we keep moving forward? I've got a suggestion. I've got an easy suggestion. Well, I guess it's not easy, but it is simple. Here's what we can do.
What we can do is join the fight. We can absolutely join the fight. We can all be soldiers. We can all be warriors in this fight. We really can. We can absolutely be warriors for this fight. You wanna know how to do it? Wanna know how we can join the fight, how we can take up the fight? Tell you exactly how. We become warriors for the light. We let compassion and love and brotherhood and sisterhood. We let that spread faster than this virus. Let's let love be our body armor, our Kevlar.
Let's let compassion be our bullets. Let's let kindness be our guns, and let's let our light let's let our hearts win this war. I'm serious. Let's let our light, our compassion. Let's let our humanity Let's let our humanity win this war. We're all scared. I get it. We're all scared. But if we if we continue to let our heads lead. It's not gonna do a benefit to any good. It's not gonna do any of us any good. So let's let love let's let our light win this war. Oh, don't get me wrong.
Doctors and scientists and and nurses, those are the people on the front lines of this. Grocery store workers, those are the people who are on the front lines of this, who were who were developing cures and vaccines. Those are the people who were going to win the battle. But all of us, all of us have a duty to help win the war. How can we do this? Well, first of all, let's listen to what our leaders are telling us. If we don't have to leave the house, let's not leave the house.
Let's wash our hands. I mean, come on. This is simple. Let's wash our hands properly. If we're feeling sick, go see a doctor. I was at a doctor the other day. Thank god it's just bronchitis, but I was at a doctor the other day. Let's let our hearts and our souls come together as one Because no matter what we look like, no matter who we are, no matter where we come from, how much money we have, or our name, what language we speak, we are all one. We are all one.
Let's come together as one and stop this. Stop this pandemic. Stop this virus once and for all. Because I don't know about y'all. I wanna get back to normal. I wanna get back to normal. I wanna, you know, start hanging out with my friends again. I wanna start going to restaurants, going to concerts, ball games. I wanna start living my life. Because if we don't stop this now, it's gonna start getting into the summer.
And August September are gonna start to roll around, and you know what that means. Once August September start to roll around, that's starting to get into starting to get into football season because I can't comprehend a September, an October, a November, a December, a January. I can't comprehend not finding, not seeing my Crimson Tide play football. So, please, whatever we do, let's take up the fight. Let's take up the fight against this insidious virus. Let's take up the fight.
Let's become the warriors of the light. Let's become the warriors of the light. And we can absolutely win this fight. It's gonna take all of us, but we can absolutely win this fight. You don't have to be some enlightened sage or some, you know, some monk somewhere. We can all do this. If you can hear my voice right now, you can help control this. You can help win this fight. But it's gonna take all of us. It's absolutely gonna take all of us. And let's start now. Let's start now.
Because not for nothing, I miss hanging out with my friends. I miss hugs. I miss all of this stuff. And it's never gonna come back again or it's gonna be a long time before it comes back again unless we act now unless we act now. Let's take care of ourselves. Let's take care of each other and remember. Please remember this. We are our brother's keeper. We always will be. Let's be warriors. Let's be soldiers for the light. And that is it. That is it for this week.
Interviews will return to this podcast. I know I've only had one so far in the early going in this podcast, but interviews will absolutely return to this podcast. Life will return to normal. And, yeah, let's just go forth and let's just go forth and love each other. Simple. Let's just go forth and love each other.
