Episode description

In Canada, at the recording of this podcast, we’re 10 weeks outside of having mask mandates/guidelines. My eyes have been opened in many ways these past 2 years, but a huge  awakening that I had was just how intensely the programming is around convenience, which isn’t by accident. This episode explains just why we’re programmed for convenience and what you can do about that.

Show notes:

  • “We’re programmed for convenience, which is not an accident.”
  • The timeline of how society has been programmed for convenience.
  • Ask yourself: what are your true priorities?
  • Ask yourself: Is your life lining up with your priorities?
  • What conveniences are you willing to let go of to deprogram yourself?
  • “Convenience is a program, a distraction, a hook.”
  • The mandates being lifted in Canada (and elsewhere) and Jennifer’s realizations around that.
  • How Jennifer removed the programming around convenience.
