We have just come across the throngs, the absolute bombs of Valentine's Day. It was I am sure a very fulfilling holiday for most and now we're here now. Alright, so I guess the next part is I guess we have to do the uh whatever the recap. One of you has to do it. Oh shit. Oh my god a lot happened that last recap. A lot happened. A lot happened. Previously on... I remember in Dom Fray... Kagome! Inautric! Kagome! We've had a deep discussion, we've had a deep just nostalgic conversation right before the stream started. We were just gushing about all our old anime stuff. It's, they were simpler times everyone. You guys might know me from Deviantart. You guys might remember me from Deviantart. I spoke in third person so you remember me. Oh god. That's not good. Not good.

You might know me from my Inuyasha fanfiction where they were all reincarnated into the modern day and going to middle school. You might know me as the owner and actual... You might know me as the owner and actual role player of the Steve Uchiha... Steve Uchiha! Saskis cousin! Was Kagome already going to middle school? She was in high school. I was in high school I think. Was she high school? She was like 15? I can never tell with anime.

She was in high school, I think she was a freshman in high school. Yeah. Okay, okay. You can never tell with anime. It's like this character could be anywhere from 12 to like 30. There's like no audience. I'm with you on this if you don't know what they're talking about. I'm here. I'm here too. But not a day over 30. You go a day over 30 and you are... John Bob really reminds me of Shippo from Inuyasha. Oh, John Bob, yeah. Yeah. That's right, Shippo.

Anyways, last time the lady who tried to kidnap Lucia named Evanya, we found out that she is from Inera and her little group is from Inera and that not everyone in the underground is actually with them, but she also found out that Lucia is cursed. She has a word that says death in Draconic on her back and that she will die if she leaves the kingdom.

And so they couldn't do anything about it, but they wanted to like see if Lucia's memories had been tampered with and at that point the people who run the underground were like, nah, not good. Why did you bring the master at arms daughter down here who's been kidnapping our people? And I was like, my dad's doing what? Human trafficking.

And so we talked about that and he explained to me that my dad knew about them, but then seemed to have them disappearing from the shadow guard, but he didn't explain what the shadow guard was. We were like disappearing in the tunnels. And so he agreed not to erase our memories because I was like, I'll investigate it. And we wrote really high persuasion checks, all of us. And so he was like, okay, fine. You can remember.

Meet Dean, our classmate, upperclassman, and he helped lead us out of there. And then we flew back arguing about whether Lucia was going to blow up or not. And Lucia saw a dog clawing at Tamsin's door to nobody's surprise, but kind of, it was Tamsin as a dog. And I don't remember what they talked about if I'm being totally honest, because the thing that stuck out to me was that she was a dog. I can't remember. I think it was mostly about her smelling pheromones.

Oh yeah, she can smell if you're horny. She can smell sudden shifts in people's feelings and their inner emotions. That's what it was. And then she was like, I smell like cedar wood. I have it in my notes. Yes. And then she said that Garvey had brought a letter for Lucia, but then Garvey remembered that Lucia can't read. So now he's gone. And then what else did they talk about? Oh, I think Lucy was just like, please don't kill any dogs. And she's like, I didn't kill the dog.

I just transformed into a dog. But look at my tongue that's made of worms. She also said that spectral worms looked into Cole's memories. Yes, yes. And she has a thing for Cole. She's like, he's like, he's really well-trained, is what she said. Really well-trained. She also doesn't know if her mom and sister are alive. Yeah, that's true, too. That was where my notes ended, because after that I had my scene with Saga. And then I stopped taking notes.

Yeah, Valora fucking made a move as she should. Saga was being all flirty and teasy. And Valora said, I'm going to kiss you, bitch. And they kissed. And then Cole became a concubine. OK. Oh my god, that's right. Hold on, hold on, hold on. This is why I didn't want anyone to know what the word concubine means. This is why. And Rymal and Cole are concubines for Tula. Tula's concubines. I've been offered the position. Yes. Thank you. And maybe Tula doesn't know what she's talking about.

And they got prepared for their first day of class, deciding which house they want to go shadow. I just ship the throuple. I think they're an adorable throuple. Olive House. Best house. But yeah, three people. I probably missed some big things. I think that pretty much is. I'm supposed to be. Yeah. All right. I also agree. Olive House is the best house. Three for three, 100% hit ratio. It's perfect. Three out of three people. Are you saying that the Silver Lions doesn't have 100% hit ratio?

Are you saying that one of the worms in Tamsin is not cool or based? Is that what you're trying to tell me? Maybe. Maybe. Well, that being said, you guys do have Robin, which does kind of. You guys do have Robin, so I guess that kind of like bumps you guys up because he's. He's really like the best member of the house. Right. I mean, debatable. I think. First of all, he took that shot. All right. Yeah, it's true. The deciding shot. He let those guys. He has the highest. He has the highest kill count on anyone in Dawnbreak. I have made the most money from killing people. Out of everyone here. So even off screen, I guess he has the highest. It's true. I did. Kill some mushrooms.

That's right. And ate it and ate it. They grow back, so it's fine. I ate it too. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I killed mushrooms too. So I got fucking you did. You got picked up and tossed fucking thrown. Oh, yeah. If you killed one of the mushrooms, you could go ahead and write on sheet like Mark Murderer. Like you're going to jail. Like, I mean, it was self-defense. Mark Murderer. Okay. Velour works out because she's a noble.

She can do whatever technically those mushrooms were working to kidnap a young woman. So it was self-defense. I distinctly remember. What's her face? Avanya said, oh, yeah, he was working with me. Yeah. And that she tricked him. And then she did say, yeah, I'm kidnapping her. She did. She said it was like, yeah, basically, we were like, wait, so you're going to kidnap her. And she was like, yes. Yeah. What's up? What's up? What? What? Where I'm from, it's fine. We can have all day every day.

It's so bad in America. It's so bad. Avanya is like, wait, and that's like, you're concerned about the kidnapping part. Like that's the problem. We got a level. Like the kidnapping is the problem. Like there's a cultural difference here. At least we know she won't kidnap you until you won't blow up. So I guess as long as you have that on you, as long as you have that on you, then she can't kidnap you. So we just never take that off.

In my 8 years of playing in this world there has never been an Iridite discussion about which characters have racks. But it's important. Did we not in Blackguards? I mean Zach. No we didn't. Well I was thinking that perhaps since you since you lot are the the closest individuals I know and you are well the very heart of this kingdom it seems that perhaps it would be most pertinent for me to shadow your class. That would be fantastic. Yeah it sounds good to me. Plus we're the best house so. Got a lot of really nice people have you and you met and you guys met most of them at the tour right. Yes. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone else and Tula goes you are really the best house. Well we did win the mock battle out of all the houses so I think right now we're number one. In the mock battle do you insult other people. Oh we didn't do that but like we just all the houses fought to kind of see where they're at like right before you got here. We made an alliance with the Crimson Griffins and the Blue Wolves and we ended up winning in the end. It was like a fake fight. Oh a fake fight.

It's less hearty than what you have back at home where you have to really square up on calories in order to get working with old Bessie and everything on the farm. The mushrooms were like a steak right. It's like they just ate a whole steak. Yeah that was pretty, that was a lot. Also anybody who took a bite of the mushrooms get five temporary hit points. Not like I ate any. I'm not gonna eat the mushroom people's head. Tula goes are you sure you don't want any?

I'm just saying you know I picked them all for you guys. You know. That is so kind of you. Maybe I should take some to save for later then. She smiles. The day shifts as this small group of individuals began to head towards Academy as the opening bell rings.

As you lot are led into class, Valora and Lucia you head to your typical, your typical seatings and the olive house are placed at the front. After a short brief of speaking with the professor, Professor Grantham, your seats are assigned. Now unfortunately the olive house students have to be broken up a little bit because the seating is rather sporadic. You're getting sat with Tamsin. Cole is going to be sat with Tamsin. Exactly.

Cole, as you are gestured to your seat and led over, you see you have an empty seat next to a familiar eye patch wearing girl. Tamsin. She, she looks, she looks, she looks at you and she just smiles. Is your energetic wave. Hi, good to see you again. Well, hey, howdy. Nice to see you again. Are you going to be my neighbor? My seat friend? I guess so. Uh, ransom, right? Tamsin, Tamsin Vondoo? Tamsin, oh, you're going to, oh, don't worry. You're going to learn it one day. Tamsin Vondoo. All right.

So Lucy, as you're sitting like towards the end of one of the, of your current row, there has been an empty chair next to you. You see Lucius leads Reinwald to it. And just Reinwald meets you with a smile. He just goes, seem to be in good company. And then sit on down. He just drinks a chair.

I do want when I sit down, by the way, I want to, I want to make sure I don't accidentally touch her again, because something really weird happened last time. We like got any physical contact. So when I go to sit down, I want to like casually, like not noticeably when I pull my chair out, pull it out on an angle. So when I put it back in with me in it, it's a little bit further away. Make a, quickly make a performance or a deception check for me. Deception.

Just, just like, just enough so I don't accidentally like bump into her shoulder or anything. Natural 20 for 26. So I don't accidentally bump into her shoulder? It's this large, it's this large, like kind of like a snake or people think it's a worm that kind of goes through the, uh, that kind of like tunnels through the ethereal planes and create like pathways for people to like connect with each other through the, um, through all the different planes. I think that's why I smell decay because like a field.

Yeah. You like it's a worm in a field. It's really complicated, but you, you got it. Yeah. Like, imagine if like you wrote a big worm and it took you to different places. Well, how big we talking? Usually they're kind of small, but it's like this, but like a lot bigger as a worm that's this big. I mean, it's like this, but like boom, boom. I mean, that's a boom. Yeah. That's okay. I don't know if, okay.

I don't know if you, you know what that means because we're like a son of explosion because it's expanding wide. Okay. One brain cell. It's a worm, like the size of a horse then in a field. So he's hot. Marcellus, he kind of looks like you. It's like I'm looking in a mirror that makes me older and much buffer. Yes. Much buffer.

Um, one of one of his one of his pecs is like the size of my head. I wouldn't say that, but no, I think you're right. Yeah, Val. Uh, I am typically here for like the first two months of each year just to get you guys sort of acquainted with, um, sort of like the physical, like the physical training regimen and you're in front of me because, um, because you, because you have chosen to take on the highest level in which I can offer now out of now, there are many among you. There are many among you have already used your life, trained your life, uh, to be at the top of the, your physical peak at this moment.

And, uh, this is designed to push you even further. And there are some of you here who have maybe have felt confident in your abilities and we will test that too. Now we are going to be spending, let's see level one and level two, they're going to be spending about an hour, but we will be spending two. All right. Now everybody's it says everybody is, uh, everybody is hydrated. Right. There are, I have established a little hydration stations along the way. I should station. I love him. All right.

Uh, everybody good. Okay. Now's the time. Get yourself warmed up and stretched. Go ahead and follow, follow me. Um, and doing stretches. So I'll just go ahead and say what happens with you, Lucia. It is, it is, you know, genuine physical exertion. You are getting, you're getting a workout, but it's gentle, kind of like low impact, a little bit, a little bit of running. I can't do this. The rest of us are doing the fitness gram pacer test. Um, we'll get to, we'll get to you in a bit.

Um, we're going to get to the date tonight. And then he, um, so that's what you do, Lucia. You are just having, it's hard. It's tiring. Um, it's okay to stick my hand. They're both dying. Um, all right, let's go ahead and start. Just begin going that way. I'll be jogging alongside you. As you begin, as you begin, as you begin the jog, um, there comes a point where like, um, you're going through like, uh, Ronan is teaching like little cadences, keep everyone in line. Um, and at some point you get to the first hydrate sensation. Uh, and you see people, uh, are already like, like, okay, I am a little dehydrated and going up to it. Ronan comes up and fucking kicks it down.

He fucking knocks it up. He fucking knocks it over. It just goes, what the fuck are you doing? Keep going. Spread, spread, spread. He's just spitting. Oh, so he's a football coach. All of a sudden the afternoon turns dire. Make a constitution saving throw for me. Oh boy. Okay. I love that I chose level one for myself. Uh, this is a con save, right? Okay. And he just, and he just goes, but you are slow. Grabs Marcellus, Marcellus goes, wait, wait, wait, wait. And then Marcellus gets suplexed into the tunnel. No, Marcellus. Get up, get up and get running. Marcellus, no. He starts, Marcellus gets up and starts running and just goes, why did I only drill your head into the ground? It's going to happen a lot to you in war.

Fucking asshole. And then Valor, I'm going to say that you're safely at the front, but you're fast, but this is also like, this is like genuine physical exertion. As you're kind of leading the group and you're heading into the, heading on the path, make a dexterity saving throw. Oh my God. Not the metal. I can add more to it if I need to. You don't need to.

Okay. You, as you kind of like step forward, all of a sudden you feel like there's this huge like presence kind of like coming at you from the right. You step back and a huge Glock trap, pendulum, smash, like swings. It would have taken you off the mountain, mountain path if you got hit by that. Guys, watch out. Keep a clear head. He jumped kicks a student. Boom. Okay. I'm keeping an eye out for traps as we're running. Make a perception check for both of you. Okay. I'm so glad Lucia isn't there.

Does my way finding help? 13. 19. Yeah. I would say, I would say it helps for you. 15. Okay. So you, you begin to see, you begin to see as you, as you, I would say with your perception, you manage to like dodge, like there are dark traps here. You see, you see some of the students get hit by it and they're just like, oh, put to sleep. You guys dodge fire as spread is spreading as in like, as you get to like isolated parts of the forest. What the ninja warrior is this?

And you keep seeing, you keep seeing Ronan as you keep looking behind you. Ronan keeps doing some kind of new offensive wrestling move towards like students as he's like running along. Ryan wall just cause this can't be, this is a bit, this is a bit too intense. It's like that. It said prepare to die. Yeah. She has the right spirit. I didn't think he meant literally, but I mean, he closed lens a girl. I'm so glad I could dash as a bonus action.

Grab somebody by the, got somebody in a headlock starts running. Make both of you make a con saving throw again. I'll use a point of inspiration. I'm going to use a point of inspiration too. Okay. She should not do this, but she goes, well, it's not so hard that I can't talk. I'm going to, I'm going to lock in and try and like break off a little bit so that way I can just get ahead. Uh, well she deals with him. She's here for cover. You know, she's fast. I just have to not be the slowest. Starts running towards you, punches one, slaps another one, slaps another student and absolutely like slow motion.

And just, and just looks over to the student, just knocked over and just goes, that was your leader's fault. Um, I'm going to use a bonus action to activate swift stance so I can move a little bit faster instead of my perceptive stance. Okay. So you're genuinely taking the front lead because you are, I think you are the fastest with your extra everything. I can move 70 feet and around, no, no, that's not including a normal dash. So I can move 105 around. I forgot I have spirited travel.

I think it technically doesn't apply even though it all sounds like things that should apply because it has like desperate dash and marathon runner and things. But I avoid fatigue from forced marches and stuff. Uh, oh you've, okay. Okay. I have the miss, but this is, this is intense. Like physical training. I'm about to throw up because this is really intense on me. It's really intense. I am, I'm getting exercise. You're about to throw up? I'm getting exercise from this.

So I can do light on your feet to just jump 10 feet straight in the air. Can I use that to like just. Oh yeah. I only got an 11 animal handling. 10 was the DC though. Oh good. Nice. So you go ahead and get advantage on the acrobatics. Okay. Oh yeah, in acrobatics I can't roll lower than a 10 anyways. Let's go. Which I, I rolled a one and a five.

So I add five more to the top. 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17. Oh wait. And I get expertise on it. So 19 and I can add more if I need to. Acrobatics I'm really good at. So it's a 19 you said? It's a 19. Like you have a better knowledge of them so you have a better like, you have better knowledge of like how to go around them. I have to say like good boy and draconic and probably just gentle. One of their like tails kind of like whip back and forth a little bit. And you see one of the, you see one of the, one of the, one of the chain, one of the handlers just goes, oh, that's so nice. Ronan truck runs past and also says in draconic, good boy. No, no, no. And he just goes hubby.

He looks to the side towards his, towards his husband, like a, like a half of with like glasses with the, with the book. Just going, just going, just going, yes, honey. This goes teleport me in front of them. He teleports in front of you, but you all with your 18 managed to like go over him. He's generally coming, trying to come up and like put you guys square in the chest. You guys are dodging him. Robin gets slapped right in the chest. He gets slammed.

He gets slammed down onto the ground into like the wet mud. And then the last thing you see before you crop, before you crop, before you make a turn is Ronan picking, uh, like putting like Robin in a choke hold and just like getting it cinched in. And the Rob is like tapping out. Um, we do this every weekend, right? Oh my God. Tuesday. My God. This is, it's kind of crazy, but it's kind of fun a little bit. Stop. I mean, you kind of, yeah, yeah, actually. Yeah. It's a little bit fun.

It's high stakes. Um, you are, you, you're following the path and you see that there is, you, your body is screaming for water. There's a high Jason station. Poison. Hmm. I don't, I'm not poisoned. I can't stop. Um, as we're running towards it, can I use, and also wait, we have passed, uh, uh, we have passed the teacher. The teacher is no longer like there.

Yeah. Okay. Um, as we're running closer to it, can I use sense for secrets to tell if there's something like hidden in the area as we're like running towards it? As you're, as you're running, as you're running towards the area, um, you're looking, you're looking around. Um, let me see. You get an expert. You have a sense for things. You can spend a minute observing an area. Okay. You don't have a minute, but I will go ahead and let you have a investigation check.

Okay. Just to see if like, if I can tell, like, is the color of the water off? Is there like a pit trap right underneath of it? Uh, that sort of stuff. Okay. This is going to be investigation. Uh, this is the D six 26. All right. So almost no one's going to notice that.

Yes. I'm going to use two things of Prairie Wind so I get an extra dash so I can beat Valora right near the end. So I can just get a little speed boost right at the end. So Valora, I would say you see a concert, like a genuine concert effort by call to like I cast expeditious retreat on myself so I can also get an extra dash. I said he has an extra extra dash. I can dash three times. I can't believe I beat him. Definitely beat Marcellus.

I'm waiting until we're like right at the end too so I get that extra quick boost right at the end. Like when you're playing Mario Kart. Wait, this is literally been Mario Kart. Um, Lucia, you're sitting at the end. You have, you're, you have, you are winding down from exercise. Oh gosh, I think I pulled everything. Um, and you see, uh, Lucia, you do take notice that the time that everyone takes to get to the finish line gets a lot wider and wider. Um, but yeah, Valora, Cole, you passed the finish line. Absolutely exhausted. Yeah, I'm gonna lay down. I'm gonna lay down very hard. You lay down. Wow. Good race guys. Oh, not really a race. It was kind of more survival. What do you mean? There was like fire traps and poison darts and what?

You see some of them like, looking behind, like scared. Um, most of them are there, but you don't see Robin. Oh no. Um. Is Reinhold conscious? Reinhold is definitely conscious. Okay. Tripped on some ball bearings alongside the mountain path and just completely, uh, swan dived head first into a rock. Um, but he'll be fine. Ball bearings? Lucia just goes. I didn't even see those. Now we can begin the second half of our, uh, of our regiment. Everyone, let's get, now that we're all warmed up, we're just going to stretch. Warm up. Warm up, Lucia says. Um. And as you are all led towards the, who the end of this is the people who are level one, level two, they're directed to like go ahead and head back to class. But you can stay with them. Robin who had just woken up is going like, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna, just joins. It just it's like a half like half heartedly healing. Healing word, healing word. Oh my goodness.
