Instead, I'm going to tell you about a fun event that's coming up tonight that I'm going to be a part of, and I would love it if you would come out and join us as well.
It is called Humor four Heroes. It is a comedy night fundraiser at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance and we are raising funds for the American Legion Post fifteen in Sioux Falls. If you want tickets, I'll tell you how to get those here in just a bit. Tickets are just fifteen dollars, or you can get two tickets
for twenty five dollars. There are three comedians and we have the Singing Legionnaires and I just found out yesterday at an event that they are the oldest singing Legionnaires group in the country, and I think they said it's the final one. So I'm really excited to hear them saying they do such a great job. I've been at many events that they're at and they're looking for new members. You don't even need to be a veteran to be a member, So if you are a gentleman who likes
to sing, they are looking for new members. And they asked if I wanted to join. They said, we're looking for young people. I'm fifty almost, so I don't know that i'm young, but compared to them, they said, I am, So come out see that again. That's going to be right at seven o'clock. And then we have three comedians. We have Jerry Irby. He is a very funny comic from Detroit who now lives in Sioux Falls. He's an
Air Force veteran. And in addition to serving in the Air Force, and in addition to being a very funny stand up comic, he's just a great dude. So come out meet Jerry. He'll be one of the comedians. He'll be the final comedian. I believe he's the headliner. Comedian Travis Rustin also a very funny dude. He's from Sioux Falls and he joined the Army. He's an Army veteran. He'll be performing tonight, and then I get to be
one of the comics tonight as well. And I am not a veteran, but I am a son of the Legion, and I am so excited to be a part of this event tonight again. It is happening this evening. Doors open at six pm, comedy starts at seven pm. Again. Tickets fifteen dollars or two tickets for just twenty five dollars. I'm going to give you a phone number to call if you'd like tickets six oh five three three, six thirty four seventy and you're going to talk to some
folks from the American Legion. They will get you all hooked up with tickets. Now, if you don't make that call and you're like, well, I'd still like to go, just come out to the event. I think you'll be able to get some tickets at the door. I know we're close to three hundred, it might be a little over to that over that, but we've got a bunch of people that are going to be joining us. My beautiful bride, Heidi, is going to be there. We're gonna have a whole lot of fun. I am so excited
for tonight again. The Humor for Heroes event. In addition to the comedy, we've had over seventy five businesses step up and give items for a silent auction. So there's a ton of stuff you're going to be able to get. All of the money from ticket sales go directly to the American Legion. All of the money from the fundraising silent auction goes directly to the American Legion. It's all one hundred percent of this a fundraiser for the American Legion.
