Now, there are some people who you know, for a Memorial Day, they celebrate by, you know,
putting mattresses on sale or selling cars. That's never been a big thing for us around here. What we try to do instead is we try to honor the people who we should be honoring on Memorial Day. So there are a couple of things happening this weekend that I would love to invite you to be a part of. And if you've never been a part of something like this, please come out and be a part of this. It's amazing.
There's a couple of different opportunities. And here's the thing I'll say, if you've got kiddos, if you've got kids or grandkids, bring them along to this event on Sunday. It's an amazing event. It is a very very nice event that have happens this Sunday. It'll be a free event. It's at the Sioux Falls Veterans Memorial Park and again, it is a wonderful event that happens every year. The folks from Rolling Thunder put this event on. It's happening
this Sunday at two pm. And there's a motorcycle ride ahead of time. So if you're a motorcycle rider and you'd like to roll in with Rolling Thunder, you can meet with them out at JNL Harley. I think they're meeting up at one o'clock and then they're going to roll in at Veterans Memorial Park in Sioux Falls at about two o'clock and there's an amazing program. I've been a part of this the last couple of years. I get choked up even thinking about it. It's just so
well done. It is such a really nice event, and again it's free. It's a really heartfelt, wonderful way to honor people on Memorial Weekend. And the way they honor them is by having several different people who from this area who gave their all and they are honored and remembered and a lot of the time the families of these soldiers are there as well. It's a great event again that is happening this Sunday. It is from about
two o'clock until about three o'clock. So if you come out and join us at the Veterans Park memor I'm sorry, Veterans Memorial Park. Some places it's listed as Veterans Park, other places Veterans Memorial Park. But it's the same place either way, kind of like right behind Casa del Rey. So if you're going where in the world is this, it's like right back there. There's a swimming pool not too far from it in the back. Anyway, it's a beautiful,
beautiful place. This is a wonderful event. It is this Sunday, and again it starts at two pm. And then Monday is Memorial Day, so a lot of people have that day off and there's an amazing event that happens each and every year on Memorial Day. It starts at noon. And this is at the New Veterans Cemetery that's not too far from Sioux Falls. It's just like right out on the edge of town. The address is two five nine six five, four hundred and seventy seventh Avenue. That
doesn't sound like a big city address. Well, it's it's in the country. It's a beautiful, peaceful place just outside of Sue Falls, a little bit to the east, a little bit to the north.
