Gold. I r a dot com and we this whole week have been talking to awesome guests about fun things that are coming up, and I'm excited to talk right now with Zach dresh about a comedy show that is less than a week away. Does it feel like it's that close already, Zach, It's crazy, Yeah, it's uh, it feels it's we've been approaching this this this show got announced like a year ago. Yeah, and so it's just kind of like it's crazy that it's that's happening now, and it's kind of

it's it's it's gonna be a really fun one. I'm looking forward to. And it's the final show of this season of Live and Local at the Washington Pavilion, and they save the best for last. We've got Nathan Hols, We've got Zach dresh can do comedy. And there's also a gentleman that's is juggling. Is that correct? Yeah, Joey Colombi, he is. He's a juggling professional. I'm excited to see him in action. I have not seen him perform yet, but he's going to kick us off and it's going

to be great. It's really exciting because this is the last show of the Live and Local season. But I also got to open the Live and Local season with improv falls. Yeah, so it's kind of like a bookend kind of thing. So it's pretty awesome. You get to be the first end

the last, which is cool. And speaking of juggling, you do a bit of juggling as well, because you're in like nine hundred and forty three bands and you have Yeah, you're a comedian, you do improv, you do like there's a lot of interest that you have and I love the fact that you just get out there and do it. Yeah, maybe I should take up juggling too. Honestly, I'm not sure. You'll see Joey on Thursday and you're like, yep, next, I'm doing that. Now,

I'll steal the items from joe and like give him here. Let me try it out. This is this is all mine. Now you shouldn't have brought it. No's that's really cool. I think, how many bands are you in for real? Because I know it's not really nine hundred, but you're in quite a few, right, Yeah, I mean for officially, like I'm the official drummer, and then I fill in for like solo artists.

I've got a couple of Levittshell gigs this summer that I'm excited about. I'm filling in for some playing drums at the Leavitshell for the first time, so I'm excited about that. I'm filling in playing drums with my buddies, Nick Birke and Ruben Rodriguez were playing some covers, opening up for an act, and then playing drums for Janice Gilbert, who is known for goodnight theater stuff and she's a fantastic songwriter, singer songwriter. So I get to fill in

drums on that. So pretty excited. It's gonna be a interesting summer and get to play all these gigs and stuff and just go there s yeah four official and then filling in here and there with other artists too, So I love how do you juggle all of that, Zach, that's a lot of

stuff to keep straight. I don't know, I guess I just I get bored easy and so I just kind of I like, I like saying busy, and so it's just like, and I love getting into all these different genres too, because all these bank these groups have different like vibes and genres and music. So it's like one act is more country based, ones more funk kind of funk rock, and then there's the punk stuff. Then there's

rock, regular rock, grunge kind of stuff. So I'm all over the place, and I really love that because I'm I'm just a music fan first, and then I just love playing music in addition to that. So in addition to all of that, you're also doing a podcast, The dress Code. Am I saying that right? Yeah? Yep, I'm getting it started

on YouTube. I did it a couple of years ago, but now I'm trying to get more into it kind of Patreon that up and stuff for It's just some extra stuff to do. Yeah, My first video kind of kicking back into things is the new Taylor Swift album. I'm working on that video right now. Nice spoiler. It's just okay, there you go, Well, I'm a big fan. I think you're a very funny guy, so

I love it when you do stand up comedy. But I also know you're extremely talented in all of these other areas, so you get a chance to do a lot of fun things. And if people want to see you do stand up comedy, this coming Thursday is a great chance because in addition to Joey Columbia the Juggler, you're also going to be on stage with Nathan Holtz, who not only is a hilarious comic, but he's a good friend of yours too, isn't he. Yeah, I was talking about this a little

bit ago, about ten years ago. Is I have my ten year milestone doing comedy, and Nate was kind of the first guy to like tape me under his wing and help me out and kind of show me the ropes of comedy. So it kind of feels like a cool full circle moment to have us both do this big show at the Pavilion in the Velvis Theater. It's going to be awesome. It's coming up Thursday. It is the final edition of Live and Local for this year. And if you would like to be

a part of Live and local next year. They're taking submissions all the way through the end of this month. Washington Pavilion dot org is where you find the details on that. And you were already part of it for the kickoff of the season. Now you get to close out the first season. And it's a pretty cool thing that they're doing that, isn't it. Oh yeah,

it's amazing and I'm excited for next year. I'm going to apply for some stuff and see, I've got some other ideas down the pipeline, but I want to I don't want to spoil it, but I've got some cool I guess every month it'll be Zach dresh one. One month it'll be him doing comedy another if he'll be doing juggling. Then if you do at a puppet show, and then he's and then I'm gonna I'm gonna do a routine surgery on a hamstring and uh show you how to do all that stuff.

I'm gonna be doctor Oze No. Zach, thank you for your time. I appreciate it, sir, Thank you, And I'm excited for next Thursday. All right, me too, John, thank you so much for doing this.
