Oh hey, First of all, I just want to say thank you everybody who went out and voted yesterday and it was like a seven percent voter turnout, so not huge, but a congratulations to Richard Thomason. And he is the new city councilor that was elected during the runoff election yesterday, and I'm very proud of his campaign and Jordan Defenba's campaign. The two of them, both friends of mine, both did an amazing
job of campaigning. And again I just want to say thank you to everybody who went out and voted, and no matter who won, it would have been a good choice. So again, congrats to the winner yesterday. Again that is Richard Thomason. He was a winner from the election yesterday. Let's take a look. Now, what do we have coming up? We've mentioned this a few times. The remember the Fallen five k walk and run. It's coming up on the eighteenth of May, so we're a couple of weeks
out on that. It starts at nine am at the Riverdale Park in Sioux Falls that exact same day, the eighteenth of May. We also have a poker run that's coming up. And this is an event that's put on by a group called the FAM. And these guys are wonderful people. They last year for the fireworks event on fourth of July, the guy in charge of the FAM was actually the person who did our prayer. We do a little prayer before the fireworks, and he was the one that did that, So
big thank you to the FAM. They've got their Ride for Autism Awareness coming up Saturday the eighteenth of May, ten am to noon registration and the kick stands up at noon twenty dollars per rider. There's all kinds of fun stuff they're gonna be doing, raffles, prizes, auction and its host by and the after parter is at Critters Varn Grel on Main Street in Crooks.
