And it's your final week of your Big Food Dog Drive, So this is the week people need to if they haven't already, get out and donate some dog food right absolutely. Is there a specific kind of dog food or what is the best way for somebody to participate in this?
Yes, well there is information available on our website. But for a quick reference, you can call Rock Cinco at six oh five two two one two seven three eight and order a bag over the phone, or you can stop in and pay in person specifically and they have it on file there. We're looking for bags of news restores, high planes or dive in naturals Land or best dog food.
We try to keep all the dogs on a pretty consistent food schedule or food type so that it's consistent across the board unless they have some sort of restriction or dietary meat outside of that. But those are really quality products that we've found to be great for our pups. We're looking for homes.
I love that, And again, pit rescue dot org is the website. If somebody is going ahead, I'd like to get some more information. If they go there, all of the details can be found for the event that's going on. Have you guys done pretty well? Have you gotten quite a few people to get some dog food over the last couple of weeks here?
Well, we are behind our goal, I would say. As a print which went out, oh boy, let me confirm the date on it January seventh. This started on January second and is going to the nineteenth. We only had six bags of dog food in that first week donated, so we're definitely looking for people to step it up
in the small donation. In the scale of things, one bag of dog food can help multiple dogs in the rescue, and without some of these types of resources, it makes it harder for us to do our work and rescue these dogs. So if people can stop buy rocktin Co or give them a call, they'll target your card over the phone or in person and set those dog food bags aside for us to help as many puffs as possible.
And we're not talking about thousands of dollars. If you wanted to, I'm sure they would appreciate that. But if you're going, hey, I'd like to help a little bit, you could say I just want to buy one bag, or I want to buy a couple of bags. But again, if you want to buy a bunch, buy a bunch again. got a fun event coming up next month. And I know we didn't talk about this ahead of time, but I want to make sure we at least have people get it on the calendar and we'll chat a little more about it real real soon. But Cork's and Collars Saturday, February eighth at the l Right Try. And we went to this last year. We had so much fun.
It is such a fun event. We really spend an entire year plans to make sure that everyone gets their biggest bank for they're bucks to not only show up, and you can dress up, you can dress down. We have lots of quality appetizers, great BArch hundreds there to sort of drinks and lots of really fun prizes that we have been sourcing since the end of the event last year.
Nice. And I'll tell you at the event last year, the silent auction, I wasn't very silent. I was around filling all kinds of stuff out. I got out bid on several things, but there were a few things that I did get and every time I see them, I think, oh, hey, that was so dang much fun.
